Good morning all! Had a loss of 1 lb this morning. I thought I would share a great recipe that I tried for dinner last night because it was so good and so easy!

Zucchini Taco Boats - 3 zucchini cut in half lengthwise and middle removed. Fill with your favorite taco meat, add onions, bell peppers (whatever veggies you like). Top with freshly shredded cheese. Bake 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Top with salsa, sour cream and/or guacamole. (by the way - don't use packaged taco seasoning - contains sugar! If you don't have your own recipe just use chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, cumin. Add a little water to make saucy).

I had to give this recipe because even my most picky son loved it!

    Have a great day!

Sarah - glad you were able to have salmon without problems. I love salmon, and it's so nice to keep being able to add foods and know we can have a large variety of healthy foods to choose from!

Pamela - well, I will be coming back for my 2nd round about the time you are doing your third- so maybe we will see each other again more then

steph - yeah for a loss! I keep going up and down but within range, which is fine with me. that recipe sounds delich- will definetly have to try it. I used zucchini for lasagna noodles and my whole family loved it. I have also cut it super thin long strips and used for spagetti noodles.

AFM: I am at 163.8 today. Little down- but still feeling cruddy. My TOM isn't supposed to be for another week and a half, but I just feel bloated and yucky. My hubby has been not feeling well either so I am thinking I may have caught a bug from him, which I wouldn't mind if it sent me sitting on the potty a bunch, lol, because atleast I would get cleaned out But just feeling like I have to go then not getting anywhere and cramping is just not fun He seems to feel better today so hopefully by tomorrow I will be feeling better. Well, since I am in p4, I know I am supposed to take things slow. Add higher starch veggies first then add more fruits, etc. But I am going with my plan to have pizza tonight. My hubby makes the whole wheat crust, and I will go ahead and shread my own cheese to cut down on starches there, and plan to have only 1 piece with a huge salad. My hcg has shipped so should be here within a week or so, where it will stay until august in the fridge. I will feel better when it gets here so I know i have it. I bought it from the same company I did the first time: reliable rx pharamacy, which is the same owner as the one in india that can't sell it anymore, but this is based out of cananda. Just thought I would share in case anyone is having a hard time finding it. I did sent a western union money order this time, since I wasn't in a hurry and you save the charge on your credit card from buying international plus they take an extra $5 off. I mailed it 3 weeks ago, and yesterday my package was in customs. So overall I think it will have only taken a month from the time I mailed the money order (to india) and will get it.

well, really really tired today, so I think I am going to lay down since I can't really seem to think straight to do my new bible study. Hopefully if I sleep for an hour my head will be more clear, lol.

    Have a wonderful friday!

well back under LIW - I am trying to watch calories and lose some more in the next 28 days before R2. I think I may try to do a long round because so far i don't have any plans until the last wk of July.

P3 has been going well, even tho I had a week of cheats, i was able to get back to my LIW quite easily. We'll see how P4 goes - i'm not going to add much in the way of carbs. I've actually added sugars since P2 -(no fruit, instead a square or 2 of dark chocolate) I had a cookie on Tuesday, but it seemed to go ok. I think a treat once a week will keep me in line

    Week 1 -14.6 Week 2 -3.6
Week 3: Stopped HCG due to extreme hair loss

Hi everyone! Still doing well in P3. Kind of sticking with the same foods, enjoying the dairy. I haven't added many new things, but I did have pistachios this week and did fine. I am 1.6 under LDW. Had an awesome avocado burger with swiss at Chili's yesterday (minus the bun and added a salad). I know I will miss P3 foods when I go back to P2, but will have the benefit of losing again and that will make it all worth it!

    Have a great day!

I did the same thing at Denny's! I ordered a bacon cheddar burger (hold the cheese-I've gone Paleo, so no dairy-hold the bun, broccoli instead of fries, add avocado). They only had shredded lettuce, so I had to eat it with a knife and fork, but it was delicious! I am enjoying P3/LRx, but will be happy when I get back to P2!

    Hello Everyone,

So far things have been going well over the weekend. I am still losing weight everyday even though I am not trying. I am 5.3lbs under LIW. I have been successful slowly adding my foods in. I just added eggs back yesterday and today and will see how that goes.
I feel like I got to try all the foods I will most likely eat on vacation next week to see if there is anything I need to avoid.

Well I guess I over did it with the eggs yesterday.
I had two hard boiled eggs on Saturday. The next morning I still showed weight loss
Sunday I decided to try having more eggs to see how it effected me. Well between lunch and dinner I probably had about 7 eggs. Well I had about a 2 pound gain this morning. So, I guess I can have eggs but in a limited amount. I probably will leave the eggs out for a while though.

i don't know if 7 eggs can do it on its own, but it would depend on what else you had, and how much salt you had. 7 medium eggs has about 490 calories, but over 64% if those calories are fat. 7 large eggs has aprox. 60 calories, but again 64% are from fat. So calorie wise it is not a huge amount. It may be a little bit of an intolerance, or it may be water weight? I think your idea of eating less eggs for a while will help. I have to say, yesterday was a lazy day (it got so darn cold here in NC) and i had 2 eggs and an egg white scrambled for breakfast, and then ended up making omeletes for everyone for dinner (which I had 2 eggs and 2 egg whites with cheese, onions, peppers, and mushrooms in mine), along with fish for lunch and a salad and 2 pieces of turkey bacon at dinner and a few snacks in the day. I really try to limit any salt on mine, and use pepper a lot. I actually had a loss today even though I had eggs twice.

well, P4 is going fine so far. I am on day 6 and I am at 164 lbs. I did gain 2 lbs. the other day in one day, but thankfully I was below LDW before the gain and new if I just ate clean for a few days it would be fine, and it was. Friday I had way too much too soon, which is where that 2 lbs came from. I ended up going out to eat for the first time in 3 months and we went to mexican restaurant- which is almost all p4 food (i had a chimicanga with beef, and a beef taco, plus beans, and tortilla chips.). then for dinner I had the home-made wheat pizza my husband makes, I did only eat 1 piece and 1/2 half piece of the whole wheat cheese bread he made, along with a big salad. I know I had soooo much salt and carbs so I wasn't surprised by the big gain. it is so comforting to know that if I have a day where I over indulge, eating right and drinking lots of water it will reverse.

hope everyone else's p3 continues going well. I did get my corion hcg and it is tucked safely in my fridge away from light till august.

Hope everyone continues to have a great week!

Thanks for the input Katie. You may be right that it may not only been the eggs. I had 3 egg whites for lunch and 4 hard-boiled eggs to make egg salad using Duke's Mayo (witch also has eggs in the ingredients). I do have a tendence to probably go overboard on the salt when comes to my eggs. I also know I didn't have enough water that did as well.
The Last time I had a two pound gain overnight I had totaled freaked out, you all may remember. However, I told myself I was not going to do that this time. I am still way under LIW and I will just cut out eggs for a little wihle and countinue on. So yesterday I ate how I've been eating normally and this morning I had lost the two pound gain plus another .2lbs. I'm glad I didn't freak out and that I am staying the course.

Do you think that I should be worried that I'm still steady losing weight in P3, even though I am not trying? I'm not sure if this means I won't stablize correctly? I should probably get my calories up more, but I'm finding it hard to do. I don't really find myself too hunger between meals and I'm usually feel pretty satisfied from the meals I eat. I'm still only averaging between 1300-1500 calories a day. I'm trying to cook more with the coconut oil and butter to add the fat/caloires in. I still find it hard to use full fat everything, just because I've always drank skim milk, and even the full fat fage is a little too thick, I prefer the 2%.

Good morning! Well surprised to see I am down 1.4 this morning, 2.4 under LDW. I was thinking I may be up since I was so hungry yesterday. I snacked on almonds and had some sugar-free jello. Anyway, looks like I'm ok.

I think losses are ok, they usually level out in the long run. I have had many ups and downs, just roll with it.

Hope everyone has a good day.

    good morning everyone!

Do you know what I realized yesterday? After having my issues with going off protocol and reading about your gain and loss Sarah, I realized that this diet is teaching me how to live. Why did it take me this long to realize that a gain of 2-5 lbs does not mean failure? Or eating bad for even a whole week does not mean that I might as well give up? I had a week of eating crazy and it showed. I think my gain showed as 7lbs over - it freaked me out, but I thought part had to be water. So, I went back to being pretty strict this past week. Within a few days, I was back to just above LIW. Today I am at .8 below LIW. Please tell me that this is the new me -
that this knowledge has penetrated my thick skull and from now on I will not be so easily defeated!

Hope you all have a great day!

You are so right! In the past, I think I have been on every mainstream diet from WW to Nutrisystem to Atkins. I always used cheating as an excuse to sabatoge myself. It could have even been as small as a few cookies! I would then let it ruin the whole rest of the day, sometimes the week and ultimately gain back whatever I had lost. I always felt that I just had no willpower to continue eating healthy for a long period of time. Now I know that I can have a few treats here and there - as long as I go back to eating the right way!

This is how it should be - eat healthy, splurge occassionally and enjoy life! I am so tired of always being on a diet - I am so happy to find this diet that has taught me how to be healthy and happy!! I totally agree with you Pamela - let's start enjoying life again!!
