Is anyone else doing a round in February? I actually loaded last week, but since I'll be in P2 for all of February, I thought I'd post here instead of January loaders. I'm excited to get back om track with losing weight. I did my first round of HCG in 2013. I did really well over 3 rounds, losing weight and keeping it off by simply eating mindfully and sticking to the hunger scale.

Then after I had gained back about a third of what I'd lost between that October and the next January, I did 3 more rounds in 2014 losing and gaining back the same ~20 pounds each time. The rounds went fine, but I wasn't strict during P3 so I didn't stabilize well and I wasn't sticking to the hunger scale. I kept telling myself that eating a second helping of delicious dinner or having a snack when I wasn't hungry was ok once in a while. The problem of course was that it ended up not being the exception but the rule.

In 2015 my goal is to stay within 2 pounds of my stabilized weight between rounds, practice eating to my hunger, and being mindful whenever I eat something and NOT rationalize unnecessary eating. I think that's my biggest obstacle.

Good luck to everyone! I hope to see more February loaders soon.
    Alex

    Hi Alex,
I loaded in mid-January (MLK weekend) so I'm going to be on P2 for just about all of February. I wrapped up VLCD week two yesterday with a total loss of 11lbs. I'm in a mini stall after losing 4.8lbs b/w Wed-Fri. Goose egg yesterday and this morning. I've no doubt my body is just stabilizing with three days of losing 1.4, 1.8 and 1.6 pounds, respectively.

I'm mixing my HCG (2,000 IU vials) and I've been feeling fantastic the whole time except for a wicked headache the first day of VLCD. I'm doing an ~40 Day cycle (I think I'll run out of HCG around day 37 instead of 40). My hope is to average 5lbs/week and so far I'm on track. Things can change up with week three -- people have experienced slower losses -- but I'm staying super focused to avoid temptations (which fortunately I haven't experienced thus far).

Hope to see more people sharing their experience here on February loaders. Nice to see you on here Alex! Hope you have a great Sunday!

    Cheers,
    Lisa

He Alex.. I'm in the same boat.. I loaded last Monday and Tuesday, I'm VLCD 5..

My fall was little exceptions here and there too. I've gained back all but 20lbs. This time I'm giving my self a 0 tolerance rule.. I'm with you.. on staying within 2lbs of LIW for all of 2015.

    Wishing you a successful round

    Hi everyone,

I'm in the same boat as everyone else here. I also loaded last Monday and Tuesday. VLCD 5 today with a total of 7lbs lost. This is the first time I will be working full-time 12 hour overnight shifts at the hospital while in 3rd Semester Nursing school. I hope it still works as well. On my Clinical Days I will be at the hospital for 10-11 hours followed by a 90 minute break and then a 12 hour night shift. I have to figure out how to split up my food while being up for about 26 hours straight. Anyone has any experience with this or suggestions?

Looking forward to getting to know all of you and building a support team here. I am extremely disciplined in previous rounds during P2, never cheated, hopefully I can continue this while working and going to school.

Hello all: I hope I am not too late to join in. I loaded on Super Bowl Sunday and yesterday so today is my first VLCD! This is my third round. I did 40 days about four years ago and between hcg and just doing well afterwards lost about 40 pounds. I have maintained pretty well though I did do a short round about two years ago. I am now up about 15-20 pounds so time to nip it. I am planning a short round this time and am doing hcg under the guidance my very strict doctor! I inhale the drops in the morning. I recently started lifting weights for the first time in years and am going to try to maintain that twice a week so that I don't loose all of my progress! I am a little nervous about that. I find that the online support really helps me a lot and I look forward to hearing about everyone's day each day! Right now I am making hcg safe chicken broth and getting myself organized.

Great! Lots of fellow "losers." LOL.

Miapapillon-It's great that you've been feeling so good and no temptations! Bummer about the mini-stall, but you'll be back to losing soon, I'm sure. My losses generally ease off after the first week too. I had zero losses today, but I've lost 11 pounds in the first 8 days. I have this pattern sometime in weeks 2 - 4 where I have a good loss and then zero losses for 2 days then another good loss. I like to look at my average daily losses because even when I'm stalled and have a day or two of zero losses, I can still see that my average is good. I hope your round is very successful.

Hi Go2gus, I think it's a common story. With HCG, losing weight is quick and relatively easy, but changing behavior in the long run is more of a challenge. I figure there may be setbacks, but I'm not giving up. I usually have extra hunger my first few days. I'm taking hHCG so there's really no adjusting the dose, but I have found that dividing the daily dose into 5 doses of 6 drops instead of just 3 dose of 10 drops has really helped control my hunger. I still have extra hunger in my first 2-3 days of P2, so I "bend" protocol and eat an extra portion of meat or veggies. So far this hasn't affected my losses and has kept me from going completely off protocol and eating whatever I can get my hands on due to hunger. My long term goal is to always eat by the hunger scale, so I practice it on P2 as well as when I'm not on the protocol. Good luck to you too.

Wow, Jen333, you are one busy lady. Great losses so far. I would pack an extra meal or two and then eat when you are truly hungry. Given how HCG works, I think you won't end up eating more than protocol allows, but you won't have to stress about whether you're eating dinner for one day or lunch for another when you're having your meal break at 2am. It's been my experience that people on these boards are very kind and supportive. Good luck and best of luck in Nursing school.

Hi Twabell, welcome to the board. How did the Super Bowl party go?

Kittydls and Ohsheila, it's never too late to join. Welcome, and good luck with your round. I'm sure you'll do great.

It's good to see you all here!

Morning all! We have a nice little support group! Good to hear things are starting pretty well for people I'm just prepping mentally and physically this week for next Sunday first injection! I've heard doing a low carb/sugar, higher fat the week beforehand is very helpful for some people on the transition into P2, so I'm trying it this time Can't do any harm! I guess that's me for now..have a good day
