I want to know what eat.stop.eat is too! I'll google it, but Kate chime in if you can.

KMac, I've done 2.0 successfully, I just want to mix things up. And I'm curious. This is a long round, with skip days included, I've got another 30 ahead of me and from what I've read, 3.0 is a nice way to function on those long rounds.

I've done this protocol off and on since 2010 - drops, IM, pellets, sub Q - the gamut and I've tried OP, modified OP, 2.0, cycling and have documented every bite and ounce for all P2's and P3's and my average loss OP is .48 lbs a day and off OP its .61 lbs a day. Maybe I should write a book.

P2 VLCD23 for me, down 12.2 lbs. (doing a 40 day round). I'm doing the HCG nasal spray, haven't really noticed anyone else using this method. Does anyone know how the nasal spray results compare to other methods? I hadn't even heard of HCG before my nurse practitioner mentioned it. I get my nasal spray via a prescription from her (the pellets, drops, injections weren't even discussed).

Hi All! This is my first day back, and it looks like you are ready to be going to a March thread. VLCD1. I have had a number of failed rounds, so am hoping to stick to the program this time, and start dropping some weight.

    Hey there all you lovelies!

Well, P2D5 and nothing today. Same as yesterday. At least it is NOT up. I was a little hungry yesterday and noticed that in cutting my pellets into thirds, some are bigger than others. I'll go with that. Made sure to use a smaller one this morning. Also need to remember to take my magnesium!

Just - now I have to remind MYSELF that no change in weight means that the fat cells I've emptied over the past several days are filling with water and will whoosh away soon. I love that graphic that Christy posts all the time - such a visual reminder!

KMac - Great job on the continued downtrend. You'll be at goal before you know it! Yes, it sounds like you're still learning about what foods work for you and which ones cause problems. I've only been at this a year, but when I hear about weight creeping back on for some people, it makes me wonder how I will do a year after I have finally reached my goal. I think I have learned about many foods that are good for me and few that are not. I will have to keep learning too and make sure to weigh every day to keep the pounds away.

Tracy - Your daughter is beautiful. Tell her Happy Birthday! And you SHOULD write a book! That would be really cool Personally, I'm afraid to go off OP at all. I know I've done it accidentally and not had major repercussions, but that 5 pound round in October has me really focused this time!

Janet - I haven't heard much about nasal spray either. I have not seen it at any of the online ordering site and wouldn't begin to know where to obtain it. Hoping it works well for you. I would think it would be easier to adjust the dose than the sublingual pellets if need be, but I'm not sure. Does your dose seem to be OK? It looks like you're right on track for .5 pound per day round. You go girl!

Lynne - Welcome! Keep checking in and we will keep encouraging you What is your goal weight?

Everyone else - have a wonderful rest of your week!

    Hi all,

Well I had my final injection this morning... exciting, but still have the three more days of VLCD ahead of me. So excited for Saturday breakfast!!!!!! I always get a bit nervous about going in to P3 though. I quite like the rigidity of P2 because it's easy to follow. I'm hoping the rumours are true that stalls help with stabilisation. Last round I was doing steak days every 3 days or so!!!! I'm still a few kgs off my goal, but I'm happy that I managed to lose 10.2kg in the 6 week round.

I read about eat-stop-eat in one of the threads on this forum.. it is a version of intermittent fasting. I've tried the 5:2 diet but I HATED having to work out meals of 500 calories because maths (which is why I'm too scared to try 2.0 or 3.0!!!). So the eat stop eat philosophy is that you don't eat for 24 hours.. so say you have dinner Sunday night, finish at 7pm and then you eat your next meal of dinner Monday night at 7pm. Once a week to maintain, twice a week to lose. That is the very basic version. There is a book you can purchase, which I did - it's a PDF. But I didn't find the book all that informative, given I feel that I've learnt so much of it already from doing the HCG diet. I plan to give it a go anyway and see if it works for me.. it's all trial and error. I'm much more of an all-or-nothing person, so the idea of just fasting and eating nothing for 24 hours is more appealing than counting calories and working out what to eat. I'm happy to keep you all in the loop.. is there a way to keep this group going or do the threads tend to finish as we finish our rounds? It'd be good to keep in touch and see how everyone manages. And be kept accountable!! Lol.

UP .6 today!! So UP 1.6 lbs from 7 DAYS A GO! ARRRGH! Can you feel my frustration? I'm going mad!! The only difference yesterday was that I didn't get much sleep last night. This is so utterly discouraging. Staying the same is frustrating enough but a 1.6 gain?! Really?!!

KMac, congrats on your continued losses. Jealous! That is a crazy tax story and totally sucks! Unbelievable really the power they have to ruin lives!

Kate, congrats on finishing up your round this week and enjoy your P3 on Saturday. Jealous!

Tracy, you are much braver than I to try 3.0 although at this point I'm starting to think about eating some cocoa crack just to see if it will shake things up to start moving again. It seems from the other thread some are doing well, some not so well so will be interested to hear your results. Ditto what Linderlou said, your daughter is beautiful! Hope you had a great bday celebration!

Lynne, welcome back and we understand where you're at! We've all been there which is why we're back here ;-)

Janet, I have not heard of or familiar with hcg nasal spray but if you are losing and not hungry it must be working fine!

Linderlou, hope you see some movement today.

Fingers crossed for a good day today. I'm in a REAL BAD MOOD right now!!

I'm satisfied with the nasal spray and like that I can take it first thing in the morning and be done for the day! I'm not hungry either so I guess the dosage is just right. It seems more "convenient" than all the mixing and timing of injections/drops so I was curious why it isn't more popular. My weight this morning was 169.8 . . . it's been a LONG time since I've been in the 160's so I am thrilled! Have a great day everyone!

Thanks Kate for the info, I googled it and agree, this forum answers most all my questions about anything. I could have a timing belt adjustment query on my car and would probably get an excellent answer here! We sure can keep this group going! I always check new posts when I log on, so if you're here, I will be too :-)

JDG, that sucks. Maybe check in with Leez and get her input. but it's weird that you are going up. Did you measure? My waist is often the telltale measure of success when things slow down. That cocoa crack idea may just be the ticket...

I'm same weight myself today but feel great. I've had two long crazy days at work, crap for sleep so I'm hoping to focus more to finish out the week.

thank you all for the birthday wishes for my daughter Edie. She had a wonderful day! She is such a blessing :-)

Those set points stalls are really hard because they can go on 14 days or more, but at least you know that is what is happening. (I had an 11 days stall at my most established setpoint.) The bonus of long stalls is that they seem to make stabilization easy in P3. I think it has something to do with your body figuring out what is normal for your water stores before your get to P3.

The best thing is just to stay on protocol and wait for the break through. In the meantime, pamper yourself with a hot bath, some special tea and try to relax and sleep as well as you can.

Hang in there justgitterdone. It's hard, but you can do it. Remember this is not about gaining any fat...it is all about water levels.

    Happy Wednesday All!

Just - So sorry TESS is not being your friend. Hang in, hang in, hang in and ((hugs)). Stay focused on the stabilization that Leez mentioned.

Kate - Thanks for the info on eat-stop-eat (IF). I've been doing IF by accident since my first round of hcg. We usually finish dinner by 6:30 and I've never been a breakfast person and with a cup of coffee in the morning with hwc, I'm usually not hungry at all until around 1pm. That works for me I've lost a few pounds between rounds in P4, but it wasn't because I was trying. Hope this works for you! And, I'm jealous of you going on P3 on Saturday too!

Janet - I did a little research on the nasal spray. All I could find was stuff from 2011/2012 and most people found it difficult to adjust the dose if needed. It also seemed like they were taking it multiple times during the day, so maybe a lot has changed since then. If it's working for you, then hooray and keep up the great losses! New decade - YAY!

Tracy - I'd like to keep the group going too. I follow Christy's monthly threads also, but there are so many members on there that it's virtually impossible to do personals. I am always sad when people completely disappear off the forum for months at a time. Whether they've reached goal or are between rounds, I'd still like to hear how they're doing. Glad your daughter had a nice bday

AFM: (JGD - stop reading here) VLCD6 and DOWN -0.6 today! Hip, hip and hooray! I looked back on my notes for my October round and I am now lower than I was on Day 18 of that round, which is when I started doing a skip day and adjusting dose. Hoping that was kind of a practice round for this round to get the dosage dialed in for this round! That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

    Have a great day all!

ETA: My ticker is back! Love to watch that little boat bobbing along!

    Afternoon all,

Well, I couldn't go an entire round without a cheat!!! I went to dinner with girlfriends last night. Getting fish was easy.......and drinking 2 glasses of wine was easy too!!! (not LOL!). So, I didn't step on the scale this morning. On top of the cheat......I was coerced into playing a league tennis match today that lasted several hours. There were points I thought my legs would cramp and..........I was pretty much low energy and I felt like I really taxed my body to perform. So, that will cause some body inflammation come tomorrow. Good news........I emptied my bottle because I needed to plan for WHEN P3 was going to start. I actually have 5 more syringes ready to go. (got lucky and found some leftover syringes in cabinet from a previous round). VLCD 24 (plus the 3 day load)...I'm actually getting a few extra dosages more than what I that I would have. MUST FINISH STRONG!!!!!!!!!!! KMac

Paid for the ridiculous cheat and over exercising.......up .8 lbs this morning. Yep! I've got nothing much to say. Hope everyone has a great day. I'm hunkering back down for the last 5 days and WILL NOT cheat again.

JGD--- hang in there. It's the SET POINT. You are doing nothing wrong. In fact, you are sticking to protocol and staying strong. (maybe grumpy strong......!!). This will pass.......I just hope it is very soon. I know it must be hard to find any positivity.....but, the fact that you are sticking with it is a major amount of positivity. In the end, you will reap the benefits. And, your body will eventually GIVE IN TO THE HCG. !!!!!!!

    Happy thursday to all. KMac
