    (Waving) Hi Everyone!

Crazy busy today. Barely had time to read this thread, let alone post anything meaningful.

TGIF tomorrow and so looking forward to being off work for a couple of days! Yes, 10 hour days have been on my program for too many months now... Hoping to really dial it back for the summer. We shal see...

Have a great evening everyone, and Tracy stop stealing cars in your sleep (first thing I thought of when you said "weird night")!

No fit bit for me, I'm not a watch wearer or bracelet wearer. But I've been using Strava Run on my phone since 2011. I have years of data!!
AFM, same weight as Wednesday. I didn't weigh yesterday so I imagine I'm headed toward a stall. I usually have one a week but mine are only 3 days. Is that still a stall? I've been looking back at my losing numbers since 2010 and my pattern is 3 days at the same weight then a drop, then three, then a drop. Yada yada. I haven't had a big whoosh yet, but it's only the end of week two.
    Wishing for a whoosh!

    Got my whoosh! 3.6 lbs.
fingers crossed its not a fluke.
Ok Linder Lou, analyze this reoccurring dream... I'm squatting in a vacation home and I have to pack up all my luggage before the family who rented it comes in. And they are literally in the driveway as I'm lugging my samsonites down the hall.

    Sincerely,
    Your Favorite Felon.

So odd to be replying to myself here, but I'm trying to stay accountable. I'm back up .4 this morning. I was crazy hungry most of the day yesterday, until 6pm or so, I probably exceeded 500 calories. Today I just feel the usual emptiness around mealtime. I'm due for skip day tomorrow, so I'll rule out any dosing issue.
Two weeks in and I'm down 11lbs.
Excuse me while I thank and like myself :-) !!!!!!

Tracy - sorry to abandon you. Unplugged for the weekend and happy about it. Went out to our boat and just relaxed. It was really windy Saturday and started up again Sunday morning, so we packed it up about noon and went home. Intentionally didn't turn on the computer and just vegged. It felt good and I slept really good last night. Sometimes I just need that.

Your round sounds like it's going great. I would say that your 3 day staying the same and then a whoosh is just that - your pattern. Maybe you should only weigh every 4 days!

On the dream. I'm not an expert at interpreting any of that stuff, but you definitely have some dangerous stuff going on in your dreams! Between stealing cars and squatting and almost getting caught, yeah, I'd say a closet Felon for sure!

AFM: No weigh in today. Totally forgot. Finding it easy to eat P4 and am really paying attention to the "fullness" feeling instead of eating because it is mealtime.

    Have a great week everyone!

    That sounds so nice LinderLou!
I chose not to weigh again today and today is a skip day. I'm feeling very comfortable so far. After that crazy hunger on Saturday, I was afraid immunity had set in. You stop losing with immunity, is that right?

Yes, I think you stop losing with immunity and the hunger suppressing effects stop working. I wonder if your hcg is losing it's potency? I guess you will figure it out after your skip day today. 11 lbs in two weeks is pretty darn good, especially considering you are close to or below your goal (not sure if you are in your 5 lb cushion yet).

Something I noticed this weekend. I am more relaxed about eating now. If I want one more piece of bacon, I have it. If I can't finish what I've put on my plate, I offer it to DH (who usually eats it) or put it away for later. I just focus on how full I feel, and forget about the clean plate club. It is so much less stressful.

That old "eat to live, not live to eat" analogy, right? Its very peaceful when that mindset kicks in :-)

My skip day was a breeze, no alarm bells or hunger signals going off, so I think I'm good at 125.
I've got another 19 days to go before I start my planned interruption that may turn into a P3. If I land on the low end of losing under .5 a day, I should release another 8-10 pounds. I'm banking on my pattern of those 3-4 day stalls I see every week, which has been consistent this round too. I'm day three at the same weight, but I've lost another inch off my waist.
If I drop another 10, that puts me 5lbs under my goal weight.
Who was it that was going by clothes sizes in the Losers thread? I love that idea, not looking at the number on the scale but the bounty in your closet... I have several iterations of my body in that closet just "hanging around" ha ha ha!

I am definitely the eat to live. Certainly not a foodie. I think that was so frustrating about uncontrolled gaining and the inability to lose weight before. It's not like I was eating ice cream and bon bons all day... BUT, I was eating a lot of processed food out of convenience and I'm sure that sabotaged any supposed healthy eating I was trying to do as well. I feel so much more educated now.

I go by clothes sizes rather than the measuring tape. The numbers don't mean so much to me as seeing pants that were snug, first becoming easy to button/zip, then becoming baggy. I also lean toward the smalls in tops that fit a little more snug, cuz I might as well show off the fact that I have a waist now I have taken all the "too big" stuff out of the closet and now I only have 2 articles of clothing in there. The black slacks I tried on the other day and a dressy size small top that can be worn with the slacks. I have about 6 t-shirt type tops and 4 pairs of jeans/cargo pants that live in a drawer. The rest of my clothes are in the donate pile or still packed away from our move. Hoping to unpack in a couple of months. But by then, most of the clothes I did keep (purged a lot when we were packing) will either be too big (a good thing) or waaaaayyy out of style. So, at that point I will have gone from a snug 16 and XL or 2X tops to a 4/6 and Small top.

Tracy - Glad your skip day went well. You're doing great! Plenty of time to get the last 10 off. Geez, the summer is already flying by. LOL about the iterations of your body hanging around. You are so funny!

Have a lovely losing Tuesday everyone!

It's kind of emotional to get rid of those larger sizes, isn't it? For me, I'm proud of the losses and the changes I've made but there's also trepidation so that I would need them again. So I've decided to have a "never again" attitude. And sticking with this forum is so helpful. Being held accountable in this safe friendly space means the world to me!

I'm in a four day stall now, finally made it to the big leagues :-). And I ate snow peas yesterday. They tasted like candy. Where's my motorcycle jacket??

Snow peas???? What the heck? You are SO rogue I'm sure a lot of it is that you're on the final stretch.

My comfort in getting rid of the larger sizes is in finding hcg. I know what to do if things start going sideways. Before hcg, yes, I know what you mean. I would lose a few pounds and fit into a smaller size, but I would hang on to the larger sizes in the back of the closet "just in case". I also kept the sizes that were too small because a) I liked them, b) I might be able to wear them again someday, c) as motivation? that one really never worked. It was more depressing than motivating. I AM curious to see if I can fit into my wedding dress again. That would be fun.

Yes, the forum are super motivating and so, so supportive. Everyone understands the struggles and day to day strength it takes to turn your life around and stick with it. People in real life either don't have a weight problem (and can't relate) or they do have a weight problem and don't want to deal with it. Although I try to stay away from the latter, we do have two couple friends who are both obese but don't want to hear anything about changing their lifestyle in any way to lose weight. As in, I'd rather eat a piece of chocolate cake than lose 5 lbs. It makes me sad when we are around them, especially as I watch their health deteriorating. Fortunately, they both live several hours away and we only see them once or twice a year at this point.

Oh, on the clothes thing - I did keep a pair of sweat pants for painting. They are a Men's Medium and HUGE. I put them on a couple of months ago, and we now affectionately call them my clown pants. Fortunately, they have a drawstring or they would just slide right off. I would NEVER wear them in public, but it is a very visual reminder of how far I've come...

    Have a great Wednesday everyone!

I have clown shorts! The elastic is so broke, they fall off. But I hold on to them too:-)
I have a very dear friend who I hoped would try this protocol, but she wouldn't for various reasons. I did convince her to try FMD and she loved it, lost about 25 pounds and has maintained it for almost a year. She has a ways to go but now knows she has a tool of her own and I'm so happy for that.

I did not weigh this morning, I just felt heavy, so I'll jump on tomorrow. And I'm out of food, my son ate all the shrimp!
