    Hi Holly B

I started doing light exercise as well. I am only walking to get my 10K of steps in on Fitbit, but it is a slow pace.

Bali sounds amazing! Can we come too??

Have a great couple of days of loading--we'll leave the lights on for you :-)

    Hi guys!
Today is P2D2 for me and I'm already below my preload weight. I just wish this kind of motivation would last the whole round. BUT, we'll celebrate while we can !!!

Hi all! I post on Lovely Losers but it's always nice to have another set of hcg friends on another thread. It's nice to see new and familiar faces here. I'm back doing another round after a very sad attempt to do a round before Halloween (which is like Christmas to me). Then I tried to convince myself I could load over Thanksgiving...just couldn't get my head in the game. I'm on VLCD2 now and trying 2.0 in hopes that I can have a successful 30 day round. I've read a lot about 2.0 but I'm a bit nervous being in ketosis and still feeling well. I've read about some folks getting sick like Leez feeling nauseous, not being able to sleep, and just plain horrible. I don't want that to happen to me. I'm wondering how long I should try this 2.0 and if at any point I feel awful and it's pretty consistent that I'd be willing to move back to OP. So far, I'm liking the variety of 2.0, more protein and mixed veggies. I still eat mainly the veggies and protein I was eating in previous OP rounds with the exception of cauliflower rice and a bit of red bell. I noticed though that after cauli rice last night I had a bit of bloating and gas. I still was down 2.2 this morning but I'm holding off on cauliflower and maybe reintroduce this weekend.

OP has worked for me before but it was tough. I feel like with more choices and more protein calories that I can have a successful round. That's just my mind convincing me though because my willpower to do OP again is low. I'm down on myself because I gained 15 pounds over three months - been battling stress, holidays, depression, boredom, etc. I've let myself go. The holidays are tough with me because of personal issues and no matter what I do, what company I have, where I go - I just feel generally sad. I'm glad they are over so I can get back on track to do another round or 2 of hcg and maintain well.

I'm experiencing the foggy headache and afternoon fatigue but that's normal for day two. Hunger has been okay...a little cravey but nothing that I'd eat my arm off. Any feedback you can share on past 2.0 rounds, any weird symptoms you had or good feelings you've had, tips/tricks, etc. is much appreciated. I donated all my size 12 pants and my size 10s are producing the dreaded muffin top again. I REFUSE, absolutely REFUSE to buy a larger pair. I will do this for myself and succeed in the process.

I love this forum and my hcg family. You guys are truly the largest reason why I have done well in past rounds and kept in the game.

Hi Natalie, You may be experiencing symptoms of low electrolytes. Try having some salty broth or bouillon and see if it helps. The HCG diet, especially 2.0 version, is very low carb. During adaptation to low carb, the body sheds salt, hence the need to supplement.

    Hello hello!

I'm Jenna, nice to meet all of you!

I started my HCG journey 9/2017 and lost about 30 pounds. Unfortunately I thought it'd be fun to gain it all back . I've been dealing with a pretty severe (and extraordinary painful) disc herniation in my low back, and didn't realize until it was too late that I was eating to compensate for the pain I was feeling. So now I'm starting all over again.

I started loading 1/5, and my final load weight was 200.8 (5'11"). Today is VLCD 3 and I am down 6.2#'s to 194.6.

Leez- QQ - I can never remember the order of which is what, but I have been pushing through some pretty solid hunger the past three days. Tomorrow will be my first skip day- can you please remind me time of hunger compared to which direction I move my dose? My first round I started with 150iu, but on my first skip realized that was too high. Bumped it down to 125iu and had a very comfortable long round. This round I started at 125iu, and it would seem strange that I'm, again, too high, but what do I know?

I did opt for the b12 mix instead of the standard water- I wonder if that is affecting my dose at all?

    Thanks a mil. Talk soon!

Natalie ~ 2.0 sounds interesting, I'll have to research it to see what it's all about. I hope it works well for you!

Hi Jenna! Hungry is not good! Hope you get it figured out!

afm ~ Down another 1.2#. Onward and downward.

    Have a great Wednesday!

    Hi all!

I had a 1.4 gain today after pretty solid losses and am contributing it to the 2 cups of cauliflower I had with chicken last night. Maybe it was too much, but I was within my calorie limit. I might be sensitive to it also. Needless to say it’s out for the time being.

I'm sorry to hear that, Lulu. I cut cauli out after the first day. I noticed that I felt very bloaty after one cup and am just nixing it for now. I haven't gained or stalled so that's good. I'll probably reintroduce during P3 though and see how I do. So many other veggies to choose from on 2.0 though so that's good!

gz9- thanks for the tip. I may try that. I'm a little concerned that bullion has too much sodium and possibly msg in it though? Does that hurt losses?

Hi Natalie, too low sodium can cause dizziness, fainting, falls, etc. Read about Tracy last month - she fell, had concussion, black eye, bruise on her face that took awhile to heal, doctor attributed to low electrolytes (low sodium).

Lovely Losers - Deliciously Dynamic and Determined in December

During my last round, I woke up one day and couldn't walk straight - had a cup of bouillon and within 1/2 hour was fine.

Mineral salt (pink salt, gray salt or sea salt) is the best way to take added salt so that you get needed potassium, magnesium and other necessary minerals. I salt everything liberally with that kind of salt throughout P2.

Hi everyone and welcome to the new folks

Week 1 on Ph 2 ended on a high note. I ended 8.4 lb after the week. It started off very slow and seemed to pick up from there. I have been diligent in getting my 10K steps in so maybe that helped?
I have been reading about the good things of the 2.0. While I won't do it this round, I may do it next round. It is hard to stay motivated on ph 2 food per the OP. I did break down tonight and have some crystal light and it tasted so good!
Tomorrow marks VCLD10 which is the traditional beginning of 4-5 day stalls for me. I am hoping that egg whites and spinach may take me out of the chicken and beef rut I am currently in.

    Hope everyone is doing well!

    Take care
    Tracey

Hi Leez, on a different website/forum, a friend who had symptoms of low sodium was advised to get Sole salt . . . she waited to do that instead of using what she already had in the house (regular salt and bouillon) and blacked out and fell, had a concussion, bruises, cuts, doctor said it was due to low electrolytes. My point - if the symptoms are present, folks need to do something quickly, rather than waiting to get the perfect supplement.

We really ought to have a sticky on the P2 forum on this subject.
