Happy Glorious Sunday!!! Thank you so! I've been doing some reading and some go past 40 days... would it be possible to just keep going if I feel up to it instead of a planned interruption or the 6 weeks in between? Here's what I'm thinking go 30 days, freeze remaining hcg from first batch, and thaw out daily in frig after that and see how it works (how many injections do you think a 11000 vial would produce?)... then mix the second batch and do the same, continuously taking it ... I want to lose 30-40 pounds... I know that is a big difference... I'd be happy at 30pounds loss as I don't need to be a skinny minny and have never been smaller as an adult than (155 I'm 5.7 - my bmi is at normal at 157 and I'm happy with how I look there) but thought the extra 15 pounds would give me some space so I never go above my "happy" weight again.... I seem to have this set point at around 175-180, I lose to 155 then gain it back over and over my entire life... I want 155 to be my new set point. One last question... what about freezing my entire second vial unmixed? and then if I want to do a second round in a few months mixing it and using it... just a thought... I so appreciate you and all your wisdom... I feel so abandon by the medical facility and it is wonderful to have a forum like this.. Thank you!!!!

An 11000iu vial will produce 73 doses of 150iu.

Your unmixed vial will be good for at least a year, and probably several years beyond that. So freezing isn't really necessary. However, my opinion is that it would be safe to to freeze it (it is already freeze-dried anyway) as long as its only defrosted once. (I've had vials shipped to me in freezing weather that were just fine, so that plus some extensive reading leads me to believe this is ok.) Realize that this goes against the manufacturer's instructions, so its your judgement call whether to accept my opinion.

I do not recommend rounds longer than the 40 dose days limit specified by the original protocol. There are good reasons for not dieting straight through to goal. Those waiting times in between rounds are extremely valuable in resting your body systems, and practicing maintenance. They allow you to figure out your eating strategies for when you actually get to goal so that you can stay there. I've written a blog post with more info to help you understand why you need those waiting times: https://hcgdietinfo.com/hcgdietforum...-rounds-21433/

You risk not stabilizing at goal (which is the whole point of this) if you push straight through. That is the bottom line. I've seen it happen to posters on this site. After months on HCG, the body cannot handle the stress, and when they try to stabilize, nothing they do can stop the regain. Its really very sad to put all that effort in to losing and then inevitably gain most or all of it back again. Not everyone reports back, so its not a definitive argument, of course. But if nothing else, consider that your skin will not have the opportunity to catch up with your losses unless you follow the prescribed schedule. The only option for hanging skin is surgery. I've lost over 100 pounds and I do not have sagging skin.

With a planned interruption of up to 14 days, your round is longer, but you don't extend the dose days. Some think that that time off gives additional opportunity for the body to adjust and they feel they lose better after a planned interruption than they would have if continuing straight through.

    Hi Everyone!

I am 4 days into a stall--it happened to me on day 10...so it is a little frustrating but I will hang in there. We are going to a BBQ tonight so I am going to have a grilled burger patty.

I did break down and put lotion on today. My skin has been so tight and awful feeling and since I am already in a stall, I imagine it was not the culprit of the first 4 days off my slow/no losses.

I am still keeping up with 10000 K steps a day so going for a walk keeps my mind off of food and wine. I miss my wine.

Hope everyone has a great rest of your Sunday!

Thank you, You Gracious, Generous, Gorgeous Girl! I had no idea my other vial would last up to a year if I don't mix... it says it expires in May... So with all this lovely information you have so lovingly shared here is my new course of action: I will freeze some syringes of my HCG now (I'm going to google how to load and save them, I tried but the stuff just squirted out) and go 25 days from the vial and the remaining 15 days from my frozen inventory (hope they work)... then I will wait the 6 weeks and do a mini round to use the rest of the frozen syringes. If they do not work then I will bust open the new vial, if they work I'll save the new vial for next year if need be. I am awfully hungry today, day two of vlcd so thinking of lowering my dose to 125 instead of the 150 tomorrow. So if the thought is that the mixed HCG loses potency wouldn't one just increase the dose? Just curious. Thank you again for all you do! With much appreciation!

The expiration dates are the last day the manufacturer will guarantee the product, not the last day the product is good and effective. In pharmaceuticals it has very little to do with how long the product is good. Many drugs are good long after their expiration dates, but get discarded because of the legal reasons.

I am awfully hungry today, day two of vlcd so thinking of lowering my dose to 125 instead of the 150 tomorrow.
Don't just change dose. Skip your dose tomorrow. (you've had just enough doses that it is safe to skip) Pay attention to how you feel after 4pm and into early evening, if hunger is better, drop your dose to 125iu the next day. Since HCG stays in the system for 3 days, just changing dose won't give you hunger relief for several days. Also, hunger happens for both a dose too high and one too low, so the skip day tells you for sure which way to adjust.

So if the thought is that the mixed HCG loses potency wouldn't one just increase the dose?
Theoretically, yes, but how much do you increase? You can't be accurate because you don't know how much it has degraded. Also, depending on where you get your HCG, your batch may be fresher or older, and it could just as easily stay potent as degrade. US makers like the ones used by the recommended suppliers we link to on this forum require that efficacy is more than 100%. That means that even if it does degrade, it might only degrade to 105% or 99%. So its not really a problem in that case.
