Lemon~My last round was August 2017....I had to look up on this forum when my last round was. I maintained at 178 and thought I'd go with low car/keto/my fitness pal to track cals. I kept gaining and losing the same 2-3 pounds and it took foreverrrr. I just sat on the 178 for a while. I've been walking 3-4 miles 3-4 times per week, more in the summer. But still, no number victory. same size 10 in clothes. So, I decided I'd do another round and try and lock in somewhere in the 160s and hopefully a size 8! Also, hope to heal the plantar fascitis (no pun intended!!!)

disdiet~I'm on my VLCD2. Headache is subsiding, thank goodness. I dropped .8 since the loading days and VLCD1. Was hoping for more, but will take it!! Maybe more tomorrow. I am pumping the water down and staying busy.........my cupboards are getting clean, purging what I haven't used in years and it feels great!

We can do this.......think of how good we will feel in just 2 weeks, heck maybe even just one week!

Atkhorses I have foot problems at 180 pounds that I donít remember having at 150 pounds so itís very possible the weight coming off will help. I know Iím looking forward to running after all this.

Lemon: I'm hoping. I had this PF in the same foot in 2012. I went to podiatrist and he suggested inserts (SOLE) and Ascics running shoe. It went away! Came back in March last year (2018). I can't get it to go away. I think it has to do with arch support and flexibility in my calf and ankle. Going to really concentrate on stretching now and before my strength training after this round.

There's a few of us lame folks on this forum looking to cure the PF. Maybe 2019 will be the year!!

    Cheers~

Lemon, I'm doing the hHCG-homeopathic drops. I take 5 drops every 4 hours. Are you doing injections or drops?
Been busy today and it's time for lunch!! Probably 3.5 oz lean hamburger and spinach with a small apple around 2. What about your lunch? I get caught up eating the same thing, then eventually throw in a piece of cod fish and see a good drop!

Iím doing injections! 150 iu. Iím nervous because I usually felt like not eating on load days in the past and that hasnít been the case yesterday or today!

I canít figure out how to cook beef tastily without fat. I end up defaulting to chicken or I splurge on nicer seafood cuts since Iím not spending my food budget anywhere else so to speak.

I need to reread the allowed foods. Iím running around putting Xmas decorations away this morning. I seem to remember eating cottage cheese at one point.

Hi everyone! I am sitting here a little after midnight eating one last slice of cheese (one of my favorite loading foods) as I start VLCD1 tomorrow, and got home really late. I am calling this round 3. I did a couple rounds in 2011/2012? and lost quite a bit, but eventually gained it all back. I started 2018 at 269.8, and did 2 rounds successfully last year, losing just over 50 pounds. I have tried twice now to do a third round and don't get past a few days. This time I will STICK TO IT, with all of your help (please). Accountability, preparation and motivation are all here...and I am officially done loading...

I have gained with my yo-yo eating and some rounds of steroids. Also, I had dental work done, with more coming soon. I have Trigeminal Neuralgia, so dental work is a major issue for my facial nerves. I have pain and inflammation for weeks, and sometimes months, afterwards. This last month, I have had to take NSAIDS, which cause fluid retention for me. Those who may remember me from before, I get huge fluid swings anyways, but last week I woke up to a 10 pound gain in one day. Then gained 4 more the next. That was it! No more NSAIDS until my next dental work! 8 of those 12 pounds are gone now (a couple of the remaining pounds may be from the comfort food I ate while I had a few pity parties...)

I quit mid-round at 219.8, and am starting this round 20 pounds up at 239.8. Looking for a big drop as those 20 should be an easy loss compared to the following 20. My goal is to stay on my hhcg drops until I lose 40 pounds or 60 days, unless my doctor recommends otherwise due to the electrolyte issues. I have standing lab orders for electrolyte levels, and will take advantage of them during this round. I am on a high sodium (celtic sea salt) diet year-round, and have to monitor my potassium levels carefully as I tend to need more during P2. I also increase my magnesium, which helps keep things moving. Both of these help keep muscle cramps away, so that is a big plus also...

I tend to eat a lot of grilled chicken and occasionally throw in some flounder. My emergency food kit is "Wild Planet" Albacore Tuna from Costco (no water...just sea salt and tuna), a can of V-8, and an orange. I keep 2 cans of tuna and 2 cans of V-8 in my car at all times, and rotate the oranges weekly. I eat gala apples most of the time for my fruit, and stick pretty close to the OP (original protocol) food list for vegetables, except I personally have no issue eating brocolli or cauliflower during P2. I cannot eat about half of the food allowed, so I have allowed myself these, and on occasion, mushrooms, for variety.

Once the Lovely Losers January thread is started, I am hoping for more company. Do you guys want to hang out here, or over there?
Hey, I'm Roni (Ronnie) I bought a ticket on the Onederland Express! Come along and enjoy the ride!

    Restarting Round 3

    **** Original Protocol ****
    Round 1 LDW: 240.8 (-31.4)
    Round 2 LDW: 230.6 (-41.6)
Weight loss totals include loading weight from Round 1 only.

Hi t1ght! Iím down to hang out wherever...

I find checking in each morning to be very useful for accountability so Iím glad someone is here. Itís a bit early as I just got up with the baby, but I can do my official LW now: 185.6.

I did a very successful round in 2013 going from 155-135. I did another short round in early 2017 going from 150-140, but I did not stabilize well at all from that short round. I remember stabilizing much easier from the longer round.

So Iíve purchased the two injection vials at 30 days a piece this time. I would like to do a 60 day round so Iíll be around for a long while.

Honestly after pregnancy and post partum, Iím looking for a fresh ďdetoxĒ. Also my weight is way too much for me to work out how I like.

Can I just say Iíve never heard of the emergency kit before??? But what a good idea! I should put that on my grocery list.

    Cheers!

All the best to everyone getting going this week. Respect points for everyone pushing through and just doing it.

tightwad, for pain issues, you might consider corydalis. Its an herb that gives the same kind of pain relief as the nsaids, but without the issues. It doesn't work for everyone, but works well for better than half the people that try it. My DH is one of those lucky ones. He says it actually gives him better and quicker pain relief than the nsaids. You can get it on Amazon if you need to mail order.
