Oh, whew. Thanks! Well then I will plan on having that combo again It gave a little variety to the rather mundane meals.

That's great news about mixing Leez! After almost 11 years on this forum, I never knew :-)

And I just made soup for supper. It is cold as beans here in Maryland and hcg, January, old lady bones - I'm struggling today with chills.
Easy recipe, sautéed chicken in chicken broth, diced it up, added about two cups of water to the sauté pan, brought to boil, added 1 1/2 cups of frozen spinach and the chicken back in and simmered for 10 minutes.
You can use fresh spinach too, I just didn't want that texture today.
Just holding the bowl in my hands is warming me up!

I do soups all the time. Today I made celery soup. Simmered celery in water with garlic and onion powder, salt and pepper. Added ground chicken breast that I added a little Chinese five spice too. (Meatballs).

I also do that with tomatoes and asparagus. In winter I like soups. Summer I tend to do more salads.

I’m with you, glad not as many social events right now, I should’ve done this earlier, when we were on STRICT lockdown—things opening up more here. DH went to dinner wi a couple of friends last nite and I told him he could tell
Them I just couldn’t make it , had gained weight during covoid and on mission To lose with pretty strict eating protocol. They were cool with it.

AFM: I did lose.6 from yesterday. Week 2 was pretty sorry losses, hoping it picks up this week. Hope everyone else is doing well this weekend.
Thanks so much for your kind words. Yes it is hard at times, but try not too let him know that and am glad he is doing well and his progress so far.

I never know if something really stalls me, such as a certain veggie or meat or If I would stall anyway! Ha ha.

I too just do beef for either lunch or dinner.

Thank you so much.It is hard sometimes to know for sure about stalls. After doing this diet so many times, I learned to not let it worry me about that and just carry on

Sunshine, This diet is so mental, don’t you think? I mean we always brag on HCG, no hunger—let’s face lt, most of us on these sites are rarely starving Even when hungry, and not in HCG, we’re wanting food for the good taste and texture and fun that comes wi eating, socializing wi friends and family. It’s comforting. At least for me—that’s why if I were big enough I’d need bariatric surgery—it wouldn’t be the way to go. My hunger goes beyond eating. It’s mental, WISH I was one of those people who Only ate when hungry, but I’m not. I’ll even snack out of boredom! These are issues I really need to address. On HCG WE Have to do the hard part, the mental part is the hard part. And we should pat ourselves on backs for staying on plan.

And, I’m with you, when I put on
Full makeup and dress other than sweatshirts, sweaters or leggings my DH says , honey you look so pretty , where you goin? This shutdown will end at some point and ladies, we are gonna be ready!!!!
I agree with you there. The diet does give me discipline I need, and after I am good for quite some time, but as to why I keep doing this, I haven't learned my lesson enough yet about what to eat. I slip up.

Made it thru the weekend!! YAY! So looks like people are feeling the natural way with VLC days. Its so easy to fantasize about what we are now not allowed now that its off limits. Yesterday I didn't do fruit and went a smidge higher on protein and didn't hurt anything. Still early in this game tho. When I weigh myself its shocking to see the scale move I would never be able to do this without the hcg. It still amazes me. I can now bend over with no out of breathe feelings and can tie my shoes without bringing them to the side so awesome to see little benefits. Plus my pants that were tight are getting more comfortable. I'm on day 11 and down 12.4 pounds! Heck yeah I'll take it!
Congrats, it is a wonderful feeling to feel and see the changes in losing weight.

Hello everyone else, and congrats on your losses. No matter what amount we lose, at least hcg made it possible.

I get my hcg pellets from Intermountain, and usually buy enough to do a couple or more rounds. It does last well into the next year. I just got a new supply in December or January. It took longer this time, but made it across the border. I am sure do to Covid and the mail system is a lot slower now as so many people buying online.

I have always done well on them. To be honest I haven't really weighed myself much. Only at the beginning and I will at the end of P3 . I guess I have done this so much, that I don't need to see daily losses. I am happy with whatever I lose tbh.

I feel like I have lost the 20 lbs I wanted to , so will let you know in a few more days. I am doing the 30 days.

Thanks for the celery soup recipe Sunshine!
I plan to make that today with some leftover chicken.

Down another 2.2 pounds, load gain is gone!
Felt great all day yesterday, I'm dosing at @20 ius, lowest ever for me. I think with age and post meno, it's a good fit.

Wonderful sleep again last night. Who wants to hear about my dream, haha?! It involved a vehicle emissions appointment. That's your teaser!

I hope everyone has a joyful, lossful day.

Now I'm thinking about soup. Hmmm it is a cold day.
I lost the pound with an extra .2 so at least going down, I left out the fruit yesterday so maybe that helped. I love how your body is like a science experiment. Sounds like most are losing or maintaining awesome! We got this!

Good morning everyone! Just checking in. Looks like everyone is doing well. Would never have the self discipline to not weigh for days at a time, but to do that and see a 20 lb drop, that would be awesome! At least I don't punish myself and weigh two times daily!

Way to go Tracy, hope your big losses keep up for at least a few more days. I love the 1st week on hcg.

Sunshine, you should definitly get into the 40's soon. Way to go! How much longer (days wise) do you plan on doing p2? Or is that up for grabs? For me it iss kinda fluid, as I know in March and April I have several social things on calendar. So much easier being social on p3.

AFM: Had a 1.2 lb drop this morning! That was great. Right over 17 lb loss now over 2 1/2 weeks. That can't all be water, unless I'm related to Sponge Bob! Very happy with that loss, but hope for more this week as last week was really slow.
Yesterday I did have talipia for both meals. And extra OZ, it's just so GOOD!. I spice it up a lot, and ladies, I was very generous and gave DH one of the talipia steaks. He liked it too, but then he gets to doctor with tarter sauce! Talipia must be extremely low fat. When I cook on the new GF grill I purchased (I love this new one) there is never any fat that flows into the little pan below. Not any. So Talipia seems to be a great fit for hcg eating.

I'm in a little better place mentally this week, for some reason last week was a struggle--seemed like all I could think about was P3. Everyone's encouragement really helped.

I keep getting emails from where I purchased my Rx hcg and kits--now that I"ve become reacquainted with HCG, I'm worrying what if it isn't available at some point. So have been considering stocking up a little, in case I need for future rounds at end of year. I looked it up, looks like you can store unmixed hcg at room temp. I put the unused vial I have right now in fridge--you don't think that will hurt it do you? I guess I can ask the pharmacy I purchased what the expiration date is on the HCG they are sending before purchasing. I just agonize on availability. For the last few years I seriously thought you couldn't purchase hcg.

Hope everyone has a great day today, it is gloomy outside in Ky today, wish sun would come out!

    Hi Everyone,

I have been a longtime lurker here! Started my HCG journey February 2019 and it has been the one diet that has ever WORKED. Physically my body changes and visually seeing the scale move is wonderful!

I started another round at the beginning of this month January - because I got a little relaxed and out on a little bit of weight again.

I do have a question and I am not sure if I should post it here (or another forum) but I was curious about switching out the HCG vials. I am currently doing a long round. I tried Nu Image before and I had to switch vials around the 3rd/4th week due to potency, etc... I am doing this round (long) with Diet Doc and I have two 5,000 vials. I am currently on a dose of 125.

I am at the three week mark of this vial but I still have quite a bit of HCG left in the vial. Do I need to switch it out for a new vial (for the last three weeks of the long round) to make sure I have maximum potency or will the first vial of HCG be fine for the remainder of this long round?

    Hi and welcome.

DietDoc requires their suppliers to produce HCG that tests above 100% potency (I think its something like 110%). It is compounded to order and hasn't been sitting on a warehouse shelf for an indeterminate amount of time. What that means is that even if the HCG does start to degrade, its going to be a while before it weakens to below 100%.

You should be fine to continue your round on the first bottle. If you notice any hunger issues, do a test with a full dose on a pregnancy strip. Any positive result (even a faint one) means your HCG is still good.
