Got on my 50 year old spring scale and took a basic reading. Actually it was better than expected, in the mid 150's. So if I lose 12-15 pounds this round, I'll be back to a comfortable weight again. My body set point seems to be around 138-140, so anything I lose beyond that always comes back anyway. Nice to know I won't have to do a second round later in the spring.

Happy to have no hunger, so I know my dose is right on. Also happy not to have any detox to go through. No headaches or other annoyances. Also got out my tracker spreadsheet just to keep my calories in line, and because its fun to let the column automatically do the total.

Still not constantly cold, but pretty sure that is coming. Had a couple hours where I couldn't get warm yesterday.

Much respect to fb at the 30 day mark. I'm only day 2 and ready to be done. ^_^ But I shall soldier on. Not much of a hardship really, I like everything I'm eating, its just resistance against restrictions.

Good idea on the copy/paste, Jayk. I have a browser extension that does that for me. Its been a huge irritation saver. Unfortunately, when the post have cut off for me, repasting doesn't always go through. Sometimes I have to start a new post.
Good luck on your round! Hang in there!

Good Mornong! Can you tell by my good morning how excited I am! Lol. So I met with the nutritionist from Diet Doc and she told me that I was not eating nearly enough food. She sent me a diet plan, which had me at 30 neck carbs, a day 104 g of protein And 655 cal! I was blown away when I heard that! And the diet plan includes so many other foods that are not listed on the diet website or in the protocol and it’s been amazing. I’m not hungry and I’m steady, losing as of today including my Loading weight I’m down 17 pounds! Not including my loading weight I’m down 6.5 pounds! Remember, I didn’t start losing until a couple of days ago so this has been great. This is taught me such a valuable lesson which is always ask questions. I had no idea that I was supposed to get a diet plan with my injections, but Better late than never I guess. And it’s made a world of difference with my hunger with my energy level with my overall well-being. It seems counterintuitive to eat more to lose weight but it’s absolutely true. I was barely getting 400 cal when I was on the original protocol at the beginning. I wasn’t losing any weight I was stalling and I would gain. Now I’m down 6 1/2 pounds in a matter of four days. I feel great but slightly upset that I wasted 10 days. Hopefully I won’t have to do another round I have 19 pounds to go to meet my goal weight , so we will see! Actually, the most important thing that I’ve learned is what works for some people doesn’t work for everyone. Me starving myself was not getting me anywhere and it was making me sick. Now that I have enough protein, some veggies, I feel amazing and I am seeing the results.

Yes, I caught the excitement in the exclamation mark. So happy for you fb! Yes, DietDoc has revised the original protocol and some have great success on it. I'm glad you are one of them.

Their program is similar to the HCG 2.0 revision. There are several here on the forums that use that plan and have done well with it.

P2 D3 for me. Thought I was down 3 pounds and was feeling good. Gotta love week one. Then...I discovered I did that math wrong---- make that 3.4 pounds down. ^_^

Doing an experiment this round with the milk item. I'm using 2 tsp of half & half in my coffee instead of 1 T. milk. One of the things that I miss most on the diet is my cup of coffee with cream in the morning, so I decided it was worth it to try to make the whole experience more pleasant with this change. I normally only use a small splash, so the 2 tsp of half & half whitens my coffee just enough and makes it enjoyable. Just this small change makes all the difference in my attitude about the other disciplines. I'll monitor my weight until I'm sure its not causing a problem. Truly, giving up my morning coffee routine is always the biggest deterrent to starting a round. I'm pretty sure it will be fine, as all indications are that it was whole milk described in the protocol, and the few extra fat grams are accounted for because I use fish lower fat protein as one of my meals each day.

Just noticed that fbff08 is the hex color for bright lemon yellow. Can we call you Sunshine? ^_^

Accumulated loss from load: 7 pounds

Liking my results so far. I'm doing some experiments this round. You can read about one of them here: No Joke! It's January 2024, Lovely Losers!

My half & half experiment doesn't seem to have interfered with the diet at all, so I will happily continue on with it. Seriously, it has made such a difference in being able to enjoy all parts of the menu. When I first started the protocol, I thought I had to use skim milk. my coffee was just sad. It wasn't until several rounds later, and many readings of the protocol, that I realized Dr. Simeons was referring to whole milk in his menu. That helped a lot....but this.....a game changer for me.

Leez, as you may remember, I eat a high fat ketogenic diet; and I do hcg 2.0 during rounds. During P2, I allow myself my first coffee of the day with heavy whipping cream; then I switch to almond milk lattes. Since I started doing this, my losses have improved. Why, I do not know.

I started having HWC and coffee as my first caloric intake of the day to counteract the "dawn effect" which diabetics experience, where their blood sugar goes up and their ketones go down near waking. Both my ketogenic diet and hcg diet work to increase fat burning (and consume less sugars), which produces ketones for energy. So my "hit" of HWC helps me kick-start the process for the day, and seems to increase my mental alertness.

That is interesting, gz. I'm doing original protocol, but because of your experience, I might bump my cream portion just a bit. at 2 tsp I'm just under my preferred lightness. 1 T. would do it nicely.

Hello members - Can you please share reviews/ experience if you used drops from HCG warriors? I am on VLCD 1 and using theirs. I would like to connect with people who have used their drops recently or are currently using them. Thanks!

    Hi pokipie, and welcome.

To me VLCD 1 is the hardest day of the whole diet. Once I get through Day 1, its easy from there on in. You are on your way!

I took a look at the website, and it it appears you are using a good product. I hope you get some feedback on that brand of drops.

You might want to also ask this question in this thread from people in all stage of HCG No Joke! It's January 2024, Lovely Losers!

Down .4 for total loss of 7.4 so far.

I liked yesterday's .8 better but any losing is good. My jeans are loosening, and my Sunday dance dress is no longer uncomfortably tight, so all is good.

Week 2 is when losses slow for me, and the the rest is just a drip-drab here and there.

Feeling good and the sunshinetoday makes me optimistic, so that is helpful to keeping going.

I'm not Leez, but: I would avoid Splenda.

Agreed. Splenda does bad things to your gut biome. If you do a search of those terms, you will find multiple articles about it. You definitely want your gut biome working for you during the diet. Anything other than stevia or saccharin is an experiment in this protocol.

That being said, it may work to use another non calorie sweetener extract like monk fruit. Make sure it isn't cut with other ingredients like erythritol. Sweeteners based on sugar alcohols seem to interfere with the diet.

If stevia powder tastes bad to you, I'd encourage you to try the Yungas Green brand from naturamericas.com . They will send you a sample for $5, which is enough to last you your round. They take PayPal.

Yungas Green is the only stevia brand I can stand....all others have a long lasting horrid aftertaste for me. The Yungas brand has no bitterness to me unless you try to get thing super sweet. Of course, we all perceive sweetness differently, so no guarantee it will work for you, but its nice you can try it without committing to a big bag of it.
