I did eggs a couple of times the last time I did Hcg. Do you eat fish? Publix here has 95%5% ground beef I may get a small portion. Don't remember how I did with beef. Seems I ate it a lot though... hmmm

Hey-Wow. What a tough time you have been through. I hope things are getting better for you. Stabilization has been a challenge especially when I got to confident on foods and portions.
Sdwis--Hi there. The post surgery was fine until we went on a cruise in March and I just never got back on the wagon. Still a bit numb but flat. Too bad the flat finds away to fill in other places :-(

AFM Loading is over and I really didn't gain very much but I did eat a lot of high fat options. 172.2 UGH! Onward and downward, I say!
My dose must be ok because I have been up since 5 AM and short of a few growls this AM, I have been holding my own.
I am going to keep things pretty simple the next couple of days until DH and the boys take off for Colorado. Not working out yet--long story short, but I went to the podiatrist last week for a foot treatment and it is a bit tender on my right foot. Hopefully it will pass soon and I will be able to start walking again.

    OK back to work!

Thanks, yes..rough patch over onto me.Good on the dose. Its 1230 stomach growling apple seemed to take care of that. I have to have a late lunch. Crazy work schedule today.

Boss - I forgot that you asked about cabbage last week. On P2 I pretty much simmer it in broth and then add cooked meat to it. Not too exciting.
Travelgirl - I was actually considering trying pellets instead of injections this time, sorry about your bad round with pellets. I have found loading to be a challenge for my last 2 rounds, hard to even conceive that given an excuse to pig-out I wouldn't feel like it. haha
VLCD 7 here. Workdays are easier than weekends for me. Routine + distraction = win. Yesterday I ate an extra half a fruit and extra veg, not sure if it was out of hunger or boredom but I wasn't going to make it without the extra little bit. Only down .4 this morning, but doing good, almost 10 pounds down from my pre-loading weight.
    Doing good on losses.
I cook cabbage with a little vinegar and hot pepper sometimes some 5 spice and get like an Asian thing going on.

hmmm I am pretty hungry. I will see how I feel tomorrow when I get my meals back on schedule. How many days do you go before adjusting injections? Also didn't help that I had NO coffee today.
Did I already ask if anyone is using an app ??

Hey- it took me awhile. I kept reading that if you are always hungry and if you were closer to your ideal weight etc etc to adjust down, which I did on day 3 and it made it worse. Day 4 I went up to 170 and while I still get hungry it is not the terrible "I am failing why the hell am I so hungry" hungry. And now my toes are usually cold. Apparently that means being closer to an accurate dose.

I went for a walk in the park today and the minimal level of exercise I have to do before I feel exerted is sad to me. It was also sad walking around and almost every single person I saw had their cell phone 2 feet from their face. People driving around the park were also staring at their phones, people walking together were on their phones, people at the dog park... you get the point. Sigh.

Anyways, my losses have still been slow. I ate perfectly yesterday and lost a whole 0.3 instead of 0.2. I was kind of disappointed, add that to my low energy walk today and its kind of depressing. Today was my 10th injection and I have 20 more syringes, so I am 1/3rd of the way through. I don't think I drink enough water. I sleep 11-12 hours a night now, which is nice after only sleeping a restless 7 but is still a lot. Tomorrow I start a new schedule at work, 1900-0330 so that should be interesting.

My Goals: Break reckless eating habits: sugar craving, over eating, night time eating, and cravings. And (my new years resolution every year) Drink more water!

But above all I promise to remember that nutrition is not a punishment- it is medicine.

No interaction between people is sad. Especially on a nice day. It is so hot here, we are all carrying ice water.
If you aren't drinking enough water you won't lose..so do your best. Add some lemon juice, drink some mineral water..whatever it takes.
I would LOVE to get that much sleep, I don't sleep well at all.
That is a late shift and quite an adjustment. GOOD LUCK>

Hello All, just a fly by checking in. It's hard to keep up with this thread as you all seem to be doing terrific!

Boss: Cold toes is a great sign. Sorry you are having so much difficulty getting the dose right. I was off for the first 10 days or so. I was lethargic and actually sick. I stuck with it and I'm in the sweet spot right now, so stick with it. When you find the sweet spot you'll know it because you will have loads of energy AND no hunger. I do injections, and this round I got from newedge (previous rounds were from my Dr.). I actually feel that this new edge is stronger concentrate and that I need a bit less. Maybe your dosage is a bit weaker so you needed more? You are certain the hcg is still good (not expired and actually has the hormone?). If you're certain the HCG is good, then it truly does get easier!

I'm on VLCD 14 and down 12 pounds so I've positively hit my sweet spot. I am finding a bit of brain fog though, but other than that I feel great.

Keep up the great work ladies, when you find the zone the weight melts off quite easily!! Have a terrific day and enjoy those losses.

When you adjusted dose did you go up or down first? Last time I did drops so this injection thing is new to me. This is only VLCD 2 but you can actually hear my stomach growling all day I am just drinking water when it does.
BUT..first day and I am already below PRE-loading weight. I dropped 3 lbs so for THAT I am quite happy!!

    Glad you are doing well

    Hi Liz
How do you cut up your cabbage or do you shred it with the food processor. I need something with broth and that would be a good fit.
Boss--How is your hunger today? How many days did you stay at one dose before you adjusted. I am at 150 but considering bumping up. There is acute hunger in the AM, but it seems to calm down by mid morning. Do you find it hard to work nights?
NotAll..I am doing New Edge too. I hope I hit my sweet spot as well. Your losses are really great! What dose are you taking

    AFM
VCLD 1 is over and done with. I was a bit hungry last night, and there was a lot of stress and drama at the house, so it may have been that as well.
I dunno what was going on yesterday but I was at the restroom almost 2x per hour yesterday.
This morning I am down 5 lbs. That is all of my load weight and then some. Holy cow. Of course it was all water, and TOM is finally done I hope.
I am wondering if maybe this round I will hit a 20 pound loss. I would be ecstatic for that kind of success.

I am curious about the comments about being cold and having the proper dose. To clarify, if your feet are cold, even in summer the dose/HCG is working?
I have run cold on pellets before and my office I have a sweater on most of the day even when not on HCG.

Well, I hope everyone is going great.

    Back to the grind. :-(

Let us know how its going on the night shift...getting ready to start myself and was wondering how it was going to go on my wonky schedule. I work 1500-0530 (2 days a week with on call time until 0700) and 1500-0330 (1 day a week...with on call time until 0700) and am on call every other weekend (so sometimes I'm home and sometimes I'm running back and forth to the hospital at all hours)....and EVERY weekday I am up at 930am so my daughter can go to park program....what concerns me most is on nights I work, I always eat dinner/supper at 530pm, but am always hungry and snacking by 9-10pm...so wondering how your doing with controlling your hunger on the diet over the late nights/early mornings?...Maybe can save a fruit for a midnight snack huh.

Just wanted to jump in and say hello to everyone! I am going to be starting round 4 here in the next week or so - waiting for my hcg to get here! Every round has been great for me and I have lost 67 lbs in the last year on this diet in 3 rounds. I have maintained within 5 lbs of my last injection weight (I know 2 is where you were supposed to stay, but my sweet spot is 5 ). I look forward to joining everyone on this journey!

Girls!!! Welcome!! So happy to have you around this time again!

Hey- I like some fish. I just suck at cooking it, so I typically don't. haha. I do fine with ground beef though. I season it up and put it over lettuce.

Travel- I don't do cabbage, sorry

Boss- Sorry your losses are slow. Definitely make sure you are getting enough water, water helps a lot!

Not- Congrats on the losses! It sounds like you are doing great! Keep it up!

As for me - I was somehow down 3lbs this morning!! I have NO idea why, but I'm not complaining!! It is VLCD 15 and I am down 20lbs (including the loading weight)!! I am sooo happy with how it's going, and I feel really good.

Girls- Thanks! I am finally getting the hang of it I guess, lol. I never finished my last round. I was having issues and couldn't stop cheating and I didn't want to mess anything up, so I decided to stop take a break and try again. I'm glad I did, because I was much more mentally prepared this time.

Hope you have an awesome round! When do you think you will be starting?
