July 2020 Loaders - True Grit

Welcome July loaders! This is your thread to use however will be helpful to you in preparing and following through with your round.

I think it takes some "true grit" to lay this discipline on yourself in the height of summer and all the wonderful produce of the season, so hats off to y'all. ^_^

This can be a preparation group, and accountablility group, a support group or all those things. I'll be around to address questions and concerns with input based on the original protocol. There is support here for anyone wishing to join in.

All the best, and good luck in achieving this short-term goal, or step towards your long-term goal.

Welcome, rose. I love it when you are in our the monthly loader thread. I know its so helpful (especially to those new to HCG) when there are veterans of HCG available to share experiences and thoughts.

    Hi all,
After 2 days of no scale movement I had a 1 pound drop. It's 4 of July and I'm ready with my flavored seltzer. Backyard fun with friends includes eating, drinking, lawn games, and swimming. Happy 4th everyone

    Hello all,

I am back and grateful to be here. The great news is my thyroid is doing great. I had an issue and needed to adjust my thyroid medicine. I am having a great first week. I would like to adjust my goal, but will see how this goes. Even better news my 20 something daughter is doing it with me!

Today is day 3 and I am down 6.4 pounds. I am beyond thrilled.

    Question:
There is a lot of conflicting information out there about what supplements to take while on HCG. Leez, do you have any thoughts? I usually take a multivitamin, a B-12, Vitamin D (because my tests always show I'm low so Dr insists), and a magnesium supplement and Vitamin C. Are there any other supplements people find helpful? A potassium Magnesium Supplement? Probiotics? or?????Sometimes my energy can wane on this diet, so I would like to prevent that.

Thank you for having this group!
    Have a wonderful Sunday!

    RK

As your fat cells are used up, they will be dumping vitamins and minerals stored there, so you really don't need to supplement those. B12 and D is fine to continue. What I find most helpful in P2 is regular supplementation of enough magnesium and vitamin C to keep things moving along. Using pink salt or sea salt will keep your electrolytes even, but if you find you experience muscle fatigue a potassium supplement at those occasions is helpful. If your B12 levels are adequate, you won't notice any energy increase from taking it, but if they are low, it will help.
