Hey All! I had a happy thought this morning. As I weighed (.2 loss only but... on day 8 I am exactly .575 per day) I was struggling with the thought of another 32 days on such a limited and unvaried diet. Then it dawned on me how very much stress I normally have daily with weight worries, calorie calculations, food choice decisions, guilt over food choice decisions, etc, etc. And then to never seem to get ahead of the problem.
It's actually joyful to take a long break from weight worries and know exactly what the food plan is. And with my hunger at a minimum, I feel very much in charge! I feel great about that

Total weight loss: 16.4 lbs
Total Inches: 15
LIW: 133.4 Stabilized 130-133 @ 12 month mark
R1 injections March 2012:
Total weight loss: 15.8 lbs
Total inches: 24.25
LIW: 141.6 Stabilized 140.6 (4 month mark) (141-144 @ 8 month mark)

Cataract surgery was very quick. Had to get up super early so i weighed around 5:30 . Down .2 lb. so far 147.8 on day 17. So almost 3 more weeks to go. Full long round. I need 8 more lbs to get lost. Lol

Glad your surgery was uneventul. You might consider adding a cup of bone broth a day during the rest of your round. The extra protein will help with healing. I have not found that doing this interferes with weight loss.

Been awhile since I had a decent (imho) loss but today was it. Down 2.6 today. Weight 145.2 Total from load is 10.8 lbs gone. Have follow up Dr visit this morning. Left eye is cloudy but was told that is because it is still healing I will let him tell me

Had dropped down last week but immediately went back up a bit. Today 146.6. Last week was 145.2 for one day. Vlcd 22 down 9.4 lbs today. Last week was down over 10. I will keep on of course. Hunger well managed. A little more than two weeks injections so anticipate approx Aug 15-16 will be last shot. Then 72 hrs. Then p3 as I head to Colorado
