Bumping this up now for when Leez gets back! Hope you are having a wonderful time, Leez!!!

P3D2: up .3 (.2, but it rounded me up again on the app)... 182.8. Not how I wanted to step into this round, but I am also not surprised. It happened the first part of my PI til my body adjusted. I also ended up eating an extra handful of chopped pecans last night before bed because I was too hungry to go to sleep without eating something. Gonna have to step my calories up so I don't get so hungry now that the hcg is gone. I also still need to start my period-- it's that time-- so I suspect there is some fluid retention going on right now, too. Think I'm gonna wait to do any more measuring til after that is done. It needs to get on with it! Anyway, that's all for now.

Hope everyone is well! Happy July!

Morning all, quick check in before walk in Houston sauna. UGH! I finally broke the 164 lb week long stall. It was so frustrating. But, all I can do is keep powering through. I'm at 162 lb. now and goal is 155lb. I'm not even sure what P2 day I'm on, would have to look!! But, I'm feeling strong and capable. (at least right now!) I'm worrying about my 4 day trip to visit my dad. I've got a list of food ideas. It's complicated because there is no air conditioning in the kitchen and the tap water is bad (he uses delivered water). So, cooking there is difficult. (shocking that he lives like this but he is refusing to leave his house for now). There are window units for AC in a variety of rooms but the house is very old and needs so much work. It is what it is. I usually pick up dinners and shower him with food while I"m there. In walks HCG! So, I'm having to be creative. I really need those 4 days to be "on point" and not wasted with cheating. Any suggestions???? Greatly appreciated. I can take my crock pot and do a protein. I'm thinking tuna fish, salads and...............??? I can prepare things and take them. I'm thinking about my mini Ninja for a protein smoothie. I'm trying not to be stressed about it but know I must plan.

Jenny and Rose........I guess it's just us in July? I'm still struggling with meal planning and I think that's why I'm freaking out about my trip. I'm just winging my meals. I don't recommend that!! How long can you extend a round? I had a vial for 60 days because that is how my NP gets it. I'm losing slowly and exercising daily. I haven't had one feeling of needing to end my round. I guess I'll get some guidance from LEEZ when she returns.

Water.........truly the nectar of the gods in Houston right now. I'm taking a bottle with me and tossing it in the trash at the park. That idea just occurred to me yesterday and really helped.

    HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYONE

Pearl, We're gonna catch you eventually! Hold the line til we get there!

KMac, you're getting there, slowly, but surely!! Would it be easier for you to do a planned interruption those 4 days plus travel days? Is it easier for you to eat VLC or avoid carbs? And definitely bring water with you when you are out walking! It's way too hot not to!!

Now on to the complaining, lol. P3D3: up .6. 183.4. Until my period starts, this will likely continue. Any day now. Tracker on my phone said yesterday... my math says today. Took progesterone through night before last, so it may be tomorrow. Who knows at this point! It needs to get on with it! On a good note, I finally got another bottle of Seeking Health Stress nutrients-- lots of adaptogens and calming minerals/herbs in one bottle and it really helps calm my adrenals during the day. I ran out midway through P2 and could definitely tell a difference in how I was feeling. I've felt like a buzzing bee on the inside, the anxiety has been so bad. Looking back at the numbers, I'm wondering if it actually had an effect on my weight loss, even if indirectly. I also ran out of glutathione and have more of it arriving soon as well. Gotta keep my liver supported through all of this.

EBV is still flaring and the exhaustion is lingering. It's not as bad as it was a couple of weeks ago, but I am still having to make energy choices and pace myself, otherwise, I end up down for the count. My daughter's boyfriend is up visiting us for the week, which is nice. He has a very calming/stabilizing energy that is nice to be around. Any my mood is not actually as bad as I make it sound. I'm just really tired. Otherwise, I'm good.

Anyway... enough of the blah blah blah. I talk way too much. I hope all of you are having a good week so far and are staying cool!

Jenny, I just read the info here on the Planned Interruption situation. Since it is just 4 days, my gut says I should just power through. I'm not particularly hungry until around 2-3 pm on most days. Also, since I have a 60 day vial, I'm wondering what the benefit would be to do the PI vs. just taking the chance of eating up to 800 calories a day while away? I'm thinking the zero sugar yogurt (it's 60 calories and no fat) it's definitely not on protocol but i've been known to use it as a snack. lol, an apple has way more calories and sugar. There is a big fish fry on saturday and that is the day i'm worried about. But, it will be outside and the heat will be so bad that it will be hard to eat anything!! Since my hunger isn't an issue, I'm kinda not seeing a reason to stop the shots, let it out of my system for 3 days, at this point that would be friday and I'm driving home Monday morning. Kinda doesn't seem worth he transition hassle for just 2 days. Decisions decisions! I did my count and I'm on VLCD #25. I feel like that I want to stretch this round out to the 40 days.

Any thoughts ya'll? I'm sure I can do ok with the calories and food choices. I'm just feeling anxious about packing all the stuff that I'll need. LOL......yes, there are grocery stores in East Texas!!!! It is a 20 min. drive to one, but it's not like I couldn't do get me a bag of lettuce and make a salad!! Maybe I've just solved my problem. Wait until I get there and go to the grocery. GEEZ.

woohooo VLCD #25 and I saw 161 lb. on the scale. Just the motivation I needed to keep the foot on the gas. My goal now can be to come back Monday and see the 150's on the scale Tuesday morning!!! It's helpful to have a goal for sure. Hope everyone has a great day.

Awesome, KMac! I hope you have an awesome time with your dad. P3D4: holding the line today at 183.4. Started my period, so hopefully the water weight will start to come back off tomorrow. In the mean time, I'm just laying low and resting.

Got back last night, so it will will take me a few days to regroup and catch up....the trip was great. We did 4 hour walking tours in 5 different cities and saw amazing cathedrals, castles and fortresses. THEN, in the evenings, our little family group of 4 did a 5-6 hour food tour on our own....walking through the city neighborhoods and sampling the Spanish beers and shared tapas at various bars. I drank a LOT of sangria. *ole!* SO much fun, we laughed for hours and I ate all the things. Scale this morning reported 139. No gain, no loss. I'd say that was a win.

Leez!! I'm so glad you're back. I love everything about that! Kinda makes me wish I lived in Europe. If it's a choice between doing nothing fun/suffering to maintain a weight, and doing all the things while living and eating and enjoying life and maintaining the same weight, I definitely know what I'd choose! I look forward to hearing more regales about the trip when you are situated.

P3D8: back up .2. 182.3. Still below ending weight, but I guess that means the losing from my period is done. Time to go back to doing it the hard way.

P3D9: down .9, 181.4. Ok, so maybe not as hard a way as I was expecting. My final measurements this morning put me down another half inch in the waist and thigh. Total inches lost this round-- 2 in the bust, 4.5 in the waist, 3.5 in the hips, 1.75 in my upper arm, and 3.5 in my thigh. Not bad. I'll probably measure again at the end of P3. Not looking forward to another round, but I'm definitely looking forward to getting more of this off, come September.

I made the mistake this morning of looking back over my journal where I kept track of my weigh ins before switching to the app. To my surprise, I was only a pound or so heavier this day last year than I am now. I didn't realize just how much the stress of law school plus everything else really affected my body. And a part of me wishes I hadn't looked bc it feels like I haven't really made any progress. Plus I completely stuffed how I feel about having left school so I didn't have to deal with it. It's starting to come to the surface now, and all of that still needs processed through and grieved if I'm ever going to move forward. Yuck.
