Hello ladies....just wanted to stop by and give you an update on my life after R1.......stabilized very well and still at my LIW. I pretty much do P3 for most of my meals....little to no starch and no sugar....planning to do a R2 in late september. HCG worked great for me and looking forward to R2.

    Checking in!
    7/26 LDW - 215
    8/17 P3D20 - 218.6
    ~vacation and P4 eating with relative abandon~
    today P4D10 - 221.6

    The creep has begun.
My copy of The Metabolism Plan is due to arrive today. I need to recover from vacation , get settled in and start thinking about my next steps.

Vacation was great, we went to Corolla in the Outer Banks and it was beautiful and I feel tanned and rested.

Glad you had a great time on vacation. Sorry you have to deal with the eating aftermath, though. The. Dreaded. Creep. I hate it so much.

One good thing about the Plan is that you will not be hungry, and the food is really delicious. You do have to be ready for it mentally since its all food choices made for you. No variations really. Getting the water timing right is the hardest part for me. But it can be rewarding in how good you feel while on it.

Hi everyone! Leez, hallie, megabarra (woot on another round and you are doing so well!), anyone else I missed. Seems like a small group but I like this thread!
Another three weeks of p3/p4 and back into p2 to lose another 15, maybe 20, we'll see. I'm hovering at about 1.5 above LDW so still good. Been able to eat cheese, yogurt, eggs, nuts without issue. I do notice if I have sour cream and cheese (overdo the dairy) that I feel oogy the next day and maybe a little bloated, so I'm easing up on dairy a bit. I've been enjoying my BP coffee in the morning. Super yummy!
Loving being a smaller size and going shopping. Confidence is high. Can't wait for the next round and getting to goal.

    Kick butt, ya'll!

You are doing great, Natalie. I'm so excited for you. That last round that gets you to goal is lifechanging. It takes some getting used to. But its all happiness figuring out your new normal.

So many people find that dairy, even if you are tolerant of it, can cause incremental gains over the long term. I really have to watch overdoing it too.

So far so good for me in P4. Staying in my window and hoping tomorrow will be the same.

Hallie, I grew up on the Outer Banks! When I lived there, you could only get to Corolla in a 4 wheel drive vehicle and access was through a gated, chained fence unless you drove on the beach. Look at it now!

    It is so beautiful there!
The houses are mostly new and pretty and big and gorgeous, and built on an island of shifting sands. I did get a sense of temporary-ness there.
I think it would be a gift to live in such a place of natural beauty. We did see some pretty fierce spiders there, though.

Leez - I need to do an apple and cheese day. I've already had one apple and about 2 ozs of laughing cow swiss cheese. How many apples and how much cheese again? how far apart do you space the apple, cheese?
I believe you also mentioned you do goat cheese and do better with that, right? I was also wondering if I could do a little bit of cottage cheese later to mix things up.

    THANK YOU.

I'm only up 1.2 above the window, so not too bad, but I'm going on vacation for the next 5 days and won't be able to weigh myself. Don't want to start the trip off on the wrong foot.

I would personally choose regular cheese rather than the reduced fat stuff like laughing cow. But you can use any kind of cheese. I would suppose cottage cheese is fine. I usually use mozzarella, jack or cheddar for this correction day. I'm fine with white cheeses, sheep and goat cheeses.

The apple/cheese day is 6 apples and 6 ounces of cheese divided into 3 meals of 2 apples +2 ounce cheese. But you can have more cheese than that. In the tests, the man that participated ate 12 ounces of cheese and lost well. I'm fine with the 6 oz, so I just do that. I try to space my water so its in between eating, as I think it helps digestion work better.

My version is to eat one apple and an ounce of cheese whenever I feel like it throughout the day. If I'm particularly hungry, I might double it for one meal. If I'm doubling the cheese, I'll make cheese lace to go with the apple(s). https://hcgdietinfo.com/hcgdietforum...e-cheez-20823/

Good idea to take care of it before you leave. That creep can get you!
