    June 2021 Loaders - Junies

Welcome June Loaders, this thread is for you!

My first thought for a group name was June Bugs, but who wants to be called a bug? ^_^ So Junies it is.

Whether you are new or a veteran HCG'er, there is the opportunity to receive and give support to one another here. Use this topic to prepare for your round, ask questions, voice concerns, pick the brains of the veterans or just as an accountability log. Its all good.

I'll be around to give input based on the original protocol, but no one will try to talk you out of any variation or personal decisions you make regarding your own HCG journey. We are here to support one another as we work toward our goals of health and normalcy.

All the best as you start your HCG engines....

Looking forward to a successful month with the other Junies! I've done 4 rounds or so over the past 6 years. I yo yo 10-15 lbs and have for about 15 years. But, fixing to turn 56 and realizing that exercising is not as easy as it used to be and/or I'm just not motivated as I was 20 years ago. Regardless, I'm ready to get the 15 lbs. back off....once again and get my good clean eating habits back to enforcement.....as well as finding that right amount of exercise that is going to be sustainable to me. I guess i'm saying that I need to get my [email protected]#$ together. covid tossed me off my game!! I'm picking my injectable HCG from my clinic today or tomorrow and plan to load accordingly. Looking forward to meeting and supporting everyone this month.....and longer.

KMac, welcome back. You aren't the only one that Covid tossed off their game. Think most of on forums this year have struggled with ridding ourself of covid gains and bad habits. Hope there are a lot more Junies that will hop on the journey with you. I have been on protocol, couple of rounds since January 9, and today was my last dose day! So I'm at tail end of P2. However, P3 and P4 are most important also. In fact, I think P2 is SO structured and you get those big losses, especially during week one, it's the easy part. 15 lbs is not a difficult journey at all, I would think. especially if it has been a while since you did hcg. Since January 9 I've lost approx 45 lbs, so I was in much worse shape than you and it took a couple of rounds. Good luck to you as you start! Week one is the best with those larger losses daily! Sounds like you know the protocol well, I'm sure you will do great!

    6/23!

I'll be loading the 23rd of this month!

Welcome back, KMac, and good luck! Sounds like a perfect weight to lose in a round! I am going for about the same when I go back for my last round. Covid pounds begone!

I'm getting a jump start on the Junies. I started my loading this morning as I was able to get my HCG yesterday. I also got a Lipo/B-12 shot, so I'm starting with energy and no excuses! I'm able to get 4 shots for $60 so I'll be going back to my clinic once per week for the energy boost. I've never started my round off with a shot. So, we shall see if it helps. I've had a few rounds where I was so low energy and just sat around. I've had a round where I felt great the entire time. So, rolling the dice here and hoping for an easy 30 days. I am going to exercise gently this round. Planning to walk, do light weights and mostly.......just do some type of activity on most days if manageable. I am the heaviest I've ever been in my life so there is plenty of motivation! I've edged up to this weight several times over the past 10 years and HCG has saved me.

Hurry up mrsstrong........I don't want to do this alone!!! Anyone else??? Hopefully more Junies will jump on in the next few days. I did start a few days early! I'm motivated and didn't want to wait. No time like the present to take back control over what goes into my mouth! Luckily, I really love veggies, so eating lean protein and veggies is super easy for me. Also, I have some GI issues and eating clean is about the only thing that really helps decrease them. DUH! Honestly, there is a direct correlation between my weight gain and my grocery shopping list. When veggies dominate my shopping list........I do great. When I stop buying veggies and start tossing out ruined ones from my frig.........it all goes downhill. How many times must this happen before I learn my lesson?? It's a very frustrating look back for me because there are limited excuses being that I really really love almost all vegetables!! UGH.

My goal in loading is to eat healthy fats in the most intentional way. I generally have a huge appetite decrease by 2nd dose of HCG so I'm going to grocery to pick up some avacodos (never tire of those), rib eye, bread that I can put butter on, salmon and any other ideas someone might have. The fast food kills my stomach and diary can get me too. So, I want to load as clean and natural as possible so I won't be bloated and miserable.

Happy Memorial Day weekend to everyone. Be safe and enjoy our new freedom to travel and move about!!!!

I understand the "tossing out the vegs and going downhill" part! I'm loading on Monday and Tuesday. Want to spend Memorial Day with kids and grandkids using my smoker grill before I semi-retire it for the month of June. Will be using air fryer instead.

After 11 years, doing this again. Really excited to start my loading days, Monday & Tuesday. I'm off work both days so it will allow me time to graze...lol. My hubby is doing this with me, we both did it before.

Bought our groceries to get started...chicken, fish and I'm going to try lean burger in the air fryer, so we can switch things up a bit. Also bought a bag of lemons, I'm going to make this more interesting than I did years ago. Vegs are hard for us. I usually end up with spinach, celery and tomatoes. I will be doing more with salad greens this time, using oranges with my chicken for "dressing". That should add some variation for my lunches at work.

Cupboards are being cleaned out and whatever I can send home with my daughter on Sunday for her family, will go.

We're so excited to do this! I'm now 58, terribly overweight and feel like crap. I have thought about this for several months and I have a different game plan this time around. P4 is what I am going to have laser focus on. I'm thinking a clean metabolic diet should do the trick, but we'll see. I also have rounds worked into a calendar for the rest of the year as a goal that I need to meet. I'm not sure if last time I did this, that I didn't hurry between rounds, I will follow protocol. I'm weighing in on Monday morning, last time I weighed myself, I was at 234.

    Hi everyone,
I am nearing the end of phase 2 and am still wanting to lose more weight. I purchased a 28 day hCG injection program with B12/lipo IM shots and am down 13 lbs, which is great but am determined to lose another 7 to reach my goal weight. I need some guidance on next steps.

I have 5 hCG doses left. Can I try adding in 1 or 2 skip days, skipping 2 or 3 doses, spacing out my last 5 shots of the 28 day program to try to lose more? Ex.....shot today and tomorrow and then skip dose on Sunday, then repeat until all hCG is gone?

Or, do I finish this round and stabilize P3/p4 and try weight watchers or keto?

I’ll have to see if I’m mentally prepared to do a 2nd round. My 4 kids are all home from college and my house is like a small restaurant. It’s tough to cook amazing food and not have a bite!
Appreciate any help you can give me.
    Thanks
    Carol

If you haven't don't a skip day in the last 4 days, you can skip tomorrow and then finish with 4 straight doses. You want to have those 4 doses in a row going into your transition, 3 at the barest minimum.

If you are like many of us, those other weight loss programs don't really work for us. If you've been successful on them before, it might be worth a try. If not, I wouldn't expect it would happen for you this time.

Something you might consider is taking an interruption of up to 13 days, and then continue with your last 12 injections to reach the maximum of 40 doses. You basically transition off just like for P3, eat P3 style for the length of the interruption, and then resume without reloading. The minimum interruption is 4 days. During your last 12 doses, you could fit 2 skip days to extend by skipping after doses 4 and 8.

I would love some air fryer recommendations. I don't think I want one that does everything, just the basics.

I'm day 2 of loading. decided to do 3 days and will really concentrate on healthy fats.

    Thanks!! KMac

I have a basic bucket style Phillips with just timer and temp dials. Nothing digital. Super basic, and works great. Its big enough for one or two people. I've had it for almost 2 years and it gets pretty much a daily work out.

I figured that since Phillips was the originator that everyone else copied, it was a good brand to go with. I haven't been disappointed.

    Morning all,

Day 3 of load and i'm struggling. The HCG kills my appetite. Of course tomorrow afternoon I'm sure to finally be hungry!

I've turned to buttered bread, cheese and guacamole.......as, I can eat those 3 anytime, anywhere! Had a burger and onion rings yesterday for lunch. (was difficult because I don't eat burgers to much) I didn't enjoy it. I picked up Whataburger for breakfast....another thing I never do. I'm headed to the grocery store to stock up on veggies and proteins for the upcoming week. I feel very bloated and miserable right now but I'm trying to come up with some favorite splurges to finish the day with. I'm going to buy myself a slice of cheesecake at the grocery!

Oh....I"m hoping and praying that this is going to be an easy round with plenty of energy and little hunger!!!!! I hope I get lucky! I feel like I have the mental fortitude to complete the round. I just know the first few days are an adjustment getting used to the Very Low Calorie regime. I plan to stick pretty close to protocol. I stick to the 4 fruit staples, I do mix my veggies as I've never had an issue. I'm feeling lazy about measuring but I think i'm going to force myself to start out measuring so that I don't make any rookie mistakes and get a strong start! From past experiences, as long as my protein portion is 3.5 oz.....I do well with staying at/under 500.

I can't believe that I can eat anything I want today and nothing sounds good. UGH!!!!!!!

Leez, thanks for the air fryer rec.

Have a great day everyone. KMac
