5000iu HCG to 5ml bacteriostatic water is a very potent mixture.

The reason we want people to mix at at 1:2 ratio (with 10ml water) or 1:4 ratio (with 20ml water) is so that you don't lose so much in the needle. It makes dosing much more accurate and some think it also helps the HCG disperse better when it hits the tissues. But your mixture will still work, so its ok. You can work with it and you'll be fine.

It seems all the suppliers recommend this potent 1:1 formula, and we really don't know why, but I wish they wouldn't. Dr. Simeons mixed his 1:4.

I just read your DD review and wish I had gotten back on this forum sooner! I'm curious now about the lipotropic. I haven't called for my nutritional consult yet, but I have all the papers they sent me with a ton of info on macros and good variations. I know what has worked for me to lose in P2 before (I occasionally have hard boiled eggs and I mix veggies), it's more about sticking to it that fails me. I like the idea of the bone broth and may look into that. I have to be careful because I take a few daily medications and just need to make sure I get enough water and protein (which I don't do most days anyway). It's time to start fueling my body properly and if that means somewhat detoxing during this phase then so be it!

It can't hurt to try the lipotropics. Some people think they help, others don't. Whether you get any energy boost from them depends on if your B12 levels are already adequate or not.

Happy Saturday! I made it through loading day 1 and gained 0.8. Not looking forward to eating today but just aiming for avocado, bacon and any other fats I can get down. I injected 150 this morning and will see how it goes. Hope everyone has a nice weekend!

It is very doable to achieve a 12-15 pound loss in the shortest round of 23 dose days (2 loading days plus 21 very low calorie days).

A couple tips: Something that may help you ease into P2 is to break up your 2 meals into more smaller ones. This is allowed in the protocol. The more frequent meals can be helpful in keeping blood sugar levels stable. Also, replace table salt with some kind of mineral salt (sea salt, pink salt, gray salt) and add a pinch to your water. That will help keep your electrolytes stable as you increase your water intake.

The loading days are important, so try and do as best you can--for me, about 2 weeks in P2, I think dadgone should've had that during loading! So go for it, no regrets! Good luck with round!

    Happy Sunday everyone!

I am finally back! I am going to do the 112.5 intramuscular injections, instead of 125 because on my last Round 3 I had to lower it at the start. I started my P1 yesterday and will start P2 tomorrow. Hopefully I will have a better weight loss this Round 4.

I did gain back 5 lbs. during maintenance, my current weight is 193 lbs.
My medications that I am taking for hypothyroidism is Cytomel.

Jan 2021, Round 3, starting weight 208 lbs., last dosage weight 188 lbs.
Jun 2021, Round 4, starting weight 198 lbs., current weight 180 lbs.

Welcome back Deanna! Fingers crossed for you about dosage. You're loading today too, right ? Enjoy the day, have something yummy--you got this, next week will be exciting week. Did you feel you stablized overall in P3 during your maintenance phase? Had you started back adding carbs in P4? I am just completing my 1st week of p3 of last round--it was tricky for a few days, but last two days I have stayed the same, but up from last dose weight of .8. I'm very happy if i stablize at that as I did not lose on my transition 72 hours off hcg. So had no wiggle room to help with added food volume in P3. Good luck to you on this round!

This thread is so quiet! I've been lurking on the Jovial in June thread and may get the nerve to post in there even though most of them are in P3 and P4. I just hate to have so few of you feel the need to check on me in here

I ended up having to load a 3rd day. Technically it was my 2nd load day as my daughter was very sick on Saturday and I ate pretty much nothing. I wanted to get in some fats to help with P2 since I've never done that before (always loaded with sugary foods and carbs) so I took yesterday to eat more and plan out this week. I gained a whopping 4 lbs during load and hope that I get a good swoosh this week and start losing actual weight. I'm not hungry at all today and drinking lots of water. I had a hard boiled egg for breakfast since I take medication and need something on my tummy. It's been raining and stormy all morning and my kids are going stir crazy inside. We've had so much rain the last few weeks and it's nuts. I was hoping to get the kids out every day to exhaust them as much as possible and so far that hasn't worked out. Lots of crafts and screen time but we do what we can to survive the days lol

For dinner I'm making the kids and hubs eat all the leftover fatty stuff I made over the weekend haha and I'm looking forward to my first garden tomato and some chicken. Hoping for some better sleep tonight since the last few were rough. Proof positive that eating to capacity and having sugar (hey, I didn't say I loaded totally clean lol) does nothing to help our health.

Glad to know you are also in P2 with me, Deanna! Hope your VLCD1 is going well!

skeeballer, you are welcome to post in both threads, no nerve needed--just jump in. Surely more people will be on p2 than you and Deanna. But I promise most of us read all the threads! And we will be happy to hear of your journey. I get loading not completely clean, I am the same way. And gaining 4 lbs is usual for me during loading days, so don't worry--that part should drop pretty quickly. Good luck and keep posting wherever you like!

Thanks, Dubbles! Yes’ I sure hope the dosage is ok and I am definitely going to keep my fingers crossed. Yes, I loaded on the 6th & 7th. Today was the 1st day of P2. I made it through the entire day with no hunger. Yes, I did stabilize in P3 the last time. Once I started P4 I stuck with fruit smoothies, veggies and one serving of meat each day. I have avoided dairy, eggs and grains. I did gluten free oatmeal every morning too. I felt amazing and my skin became soft and glowing. I did gain 5 pounds though and that is because we vacationed several times and I didn’t have my food with me and had to eat whatever the restaurant offered. Thanks again and I need prayers that this Round 4 will be better than Round 3.

That is encouraging that you experienced no hunger the first day of P2. Here's hoping you don't have dose issues this time.

Deanna, definitely hoping you won't have any trouble with your dosage, and here's to a very successful round for you! You got this.
