First day of P4 today and I got a gift! Scale said 139, so only one pound over LIW. And I even weighed earlier than normal. There is mentally such a different feeling about 139 vs 140. ^_^

So wrap up for this 30 day round:

11 pound lost, one came back. Calling it at 139 and celebrating that I don't have to move my LIW up. This was my lowest loss round--it might be round 11 since 2011, and I didn't get quite back to goal, but I got back to all my old goal clothes thanks to P3 reshaping the this last week. Mentally, my vacation starts today..... just a little yardwork and packing left to do before I leave this weekend.

Hang in there everyone, there is a payoff at the end.

congrats Leez. i agree. being under 140 even one lb is a big psychological plus! i am down .2. still eating too many calories for my size age and activity level. need to cut out a couple hundred a day to avoid creeping gains. still slightly over liw by .2. maybe by tomorrow i will get under. trying not to eat anything after 5 pm. i’ve already eaten daily calorie allowance

Changing it up with smoked pulled pork tonight. We'll see what that looks like on the scale tomorrow. Either way, it was delicious and a nice change from chicken and beef. All of y'all skinny minnies are doing great!

Yay Leez! Finally kicked that pound to the curb and fitting in your skinny clothes, just in time to jet set off to Europe!! I know you're gonna have an amazing time!

Quick check in. P2D34: down .2, 185.0. I hate "round-up" days on my scale!

Morning all, VLCD #8 for me. I'm doing ok, a bit on the struggle bus yesterday because I waited too long to eat lunch. But, was busy doing something with my daughter. So far, I'm getting daily steady loses and of course that helps with the motivation and perseverance! I didn't walk yesterday because body needed to rest. Headed out for a walk this morning. So far, my energy levels are great which really helps me power through the day. At night, I am feeling pretty exhausted but since i'm walking most days and busy working my small Etsy business which keeps me busy with packing, shipping, photographing, i'm currently re-organizing my shelves.....I'm non stop on my feet all day doing something! (burning FAT too hopefully) So, I'm not surprised to feel pretty beat by 7pm. I'm intentionally getting to bed early too which helps my body and brain rest and recover. I hope everyone has a great day!

What weight do you use to compare how much you have lost? Is it the weight from the first shot/load day? Or, the first VLCD? I can't remember.

Also, full discloser here. I'm eating less than 500 calories a day. But, I'm slightly off protocol as I've eaten a few eggs, green beans, squash, zucchini. I've also had a few Chobani sugar free yogurts at 60 calories. I'm concentrating on the 500 calorie limit, no fat or sugar, and lean proteins and veggies. I've only had fruit a few times and that was strawberries and blueberries with my egg/egg whites. I have done several rounds with super strict protocol before. So, I know the difference. Time will tell if I pay the price and don't lose my 20lb goal. But, I'm currently doing the same as I've done in previous successful rounds. I've had a few NON successful rounds in the past 8 years. So, I know what that looks and feels like too. If I start complaining and whining..............point me here!!!! And, I know the 10 day stale is just around the corner. THOSE SUCK! But, I typically get one.

And, I was wondering why there weren't that as many people on the forum. Wondering if everyone has turned to Ozempic and those meds to lose the weight???

LEEZ--have the time of your life and enjoy every second!!
Rose- seems like you are doing great navigating P4! I think it's going to be like a daily "job" for me when I get there!
Jenny-I've got a pork tenderloin in the crock pot of sugar free BBQ sauce for today. I'm looking forward to a different protein.

Happy and relaxing Sunday to all

P2D35: down .4, 184.7. I was hoping today would be a little bigger loss, but it's still down, and almost half a pound, so I really can't complain. My experiment is looking less and less causative, as far as associating losses with hormone states in the first half of my monthly cycle. Or my hormones just aren't stable enough for me to do that. Not really sure. Or my body is just getting tired of dieting, which could be entirely possible!

I adjusted my drops down to 39 from 45, and that seemed to quell some of the hunger. I also added in an extra glass of electrolytes, even though I'm hitting my daily goals for minerals. With all the sweating from all this heat, I wasn't sure if my body was losing/using/needing more or not. 169 is looking farther and farther away. I probably need to adjust my hopes to somewhere closer to 174 for this round. At this rate, that is likely more realistic. Still a lot lower than 199, where I started on day 1.

KMac, we must have posted at the same time, lol. I'm surprised I haven't had more of "those" days this go around. Even taking my drops has been consistent this time, which hasn't always been possible in past rounds. Yet I'm still averaging about .42lbs/day right now overall. I'm counting my losses from vlcd 1. I eat eggs most mornings, and I've done blueberries, green beans, and broccoli (and others) from the beginning bc ages ago, it got in my head they were on the list and I've never had issues with them. It also makes it easier not to get tired of the diet and give up too soon, which I really don't want to do. Last night, I had deconstructed chicken enchiladas with tomatillo sauce and multi-colored riced cauliflower.

I've wondered the same about ozempic, and assumed most people cleared out when it got so difficult to obtain hcg and all the providers started switching out to other weight loss products. I like hcg bc it makes sense for me and it works. I'll keep coming back to it as long as I need to lose weight and can get my hands on it.

Off topic just a smidge, but what do you have in your etsy shop? My oldest daughter has an etsy business selling embroidered jewelry, etc. I love to see what everyone else is doing. PM me a link if you want so I can check it out!

My builder says his wife went on one of those semiglutides, lost 55 lbs, but now has thyroid cancer - so she's off the injections, permanently. I wonder about the interaction between thyroid / weight gain / semiglutides ?!?

P2D36: up .3. Really .2, but of course the app rounded up today. 185.0. Just gotta get through to the end now.

gz9gjg, experiences like that is exactly why I have been afraid to do any of the other stuff! My best friend is on ozempic to try and help manage her diabetes, and I worry about the long term effects it will have on her.

JennyV, I wish her well. Diabetes is tough. I feel fortunate to have been able to use hcg and keto to lose weight and to maintain.
