Hopefully, you will get a nice whoosh! in P3. I have found taking a hot bath encourages the release of water weight. Yeah, I know - hot summer, hot bath?!? But taking a cool shower after the soak feels really good, too.

Morning all, I had a very busy weekend cleaning and organizing in my garage and didn't eat or drink much. Paid the struggle bus price for the poor planning. But, I'm feeling much better today and life goes on. I am super pleased at all I got done! I'm about 2 weeks in. I've lost 10-12 lbs. I can't complain and won't complain because I've got a long ways to go. However, I can at least tell now that I've lost "a bit" of weight. It is barely visible but at least I am actually seeing some results. I'm not having hunger issues and really struggling to find something that I actually want to eat. I've got chicken breasts in the crock pot now and making chicken Tinga Tacos. Well, tacos for family and I'll wrap my chicken in lettuce. They will get avocado and cojita cheese and I'll just get chicken tinga and red onions. That at least sounds good. There will be plenty of leftovers too.

I walked this morning and the heat and humidity was terrible. My attitude is a bit low today but at least I have food I want to eat. Maybe I'm still on the "struggle bus".

Jenny, you are a TROPPER the way you are hanging in there. I'm impressed.
Rose, did you do 23 days and take some time to do P3/P4 then back again? That sounds so much more manageable. How much weight did you want to lose during first and second rounds?

Hope everyone has a great day. I'm trying to hydrate and rehydrate.

@kMac i’ve not yet done my second round. i did 23 days p2 then 3 weeks P3 and since Apr 23 have been on P4. i lost only 9 lbs. i’m hoping to lose another 9 lbs on my subsequent round which i won’t start till mid July for a myriad of reasons. just staying in my LIW window till then. goal is to get to 140 or below. i have been creeping up slightly on p4 but only a little over liw. but in p3 i lost a little below liw but in p4 that has gone. if i can stay reasonably stable till i do another round in mid July i will be happy. getting two tooth extractions right before i start. will see how i feel

P2D45: no change. 182.7. I think I have maybe 2 days left after today... maybe. We'll see. Rough night last night... joint pain was back with a vengeance. I was so tired, I zonked out by 9, but was back awake around 11;15, and didn't get back to sleep til after 3. Whatever is going on in my body right now needs to hit the road! I don't just need sleep to lose weight, I need it to function!

gj9gjg, I actually take baths most of the time, but I can't do them super hot. I have POTS and the heat flares that up. Standing in the shower also flares it up. Among other things, I get light-headed/dizzy and have been known to pass out. Not fun. So sitting in the tub lessens the liability of an issue.

You ladies are an inspiration to me and keep me hopeful, so thank you!

p4147.8 now .8 below liw. better than being over liw. dropped a lb snd a half for no particular reason. changed a few things yesterday which might have caused a drop. no bacon and fewer calories.. closer to 1400 instead of 1700-1800. anyway i think any drop under 149 and below liw encourages me today

Awesome, Rose! Also gives you a bigger cushion on the front end when you start back on P2. Are you gonna give yourself a couple of weeks to heal from the dental work before diving back in? Watching my mom go through extensive dental work this past 6 months and all the struggles she has had with healing/eating has been eye-opening.

P2D46: no change. 182.7. I'm gonna rat myself out and tell y'all I had a full-on cheat day yesterday. I was hungry and we were running low on groceries, so I ate a big bowl of oatmeal with raisins and pecans for breakfast, and some homemade pepperoni pizza for dinner. They were delicious and it was exactly what I needed. I feel like I am mentally back on track. And doing that while I'm still on drops meant less of a gain from it than if I did it next week. I have maybe today left in drops and start my two transition days into P3 tomorrow. Let's get this done!

p4 146.6. so today 2 lbs under LIW. @Jennyv. not yet sure whether i will do second round right after dental. dentist already took impression so the 4 tooth bridge will be ready when two teeth are extracted. Hoping healing is uneventful. i will play it by ear. if i have to wait to start p2 i will. the reason for july is to be done with p2 before our colorado show but if not July then i will do it in September when i have no major events. if i am able to keep at liw or under i will be happy. i?m comfortable at 146 but will feel trimmer at 140.

Rose, I can definitely understand all of that.

Took the last of my drops yesterday, so today begins the two day transition to P3. Down on the scale .5 (but it rounded up), so 182.3. Maybe I'll get a miracle and drop those last two during my transition days. Wouldn't that be nice?

Last transition day. No change. I'll wait til tomorrow to log my end weight (and may measure again), but I am happy with the changes. This round has been so weird, and I've felt disappointed a lot that my losses haven't been where I had hoped... BUT... I can't argue with the tape measure! If any of this changes tomorrow, I'll update. I'm listing these as starting measurements on 5/3 followed by ending measurements on 6/29. Bust: 41 to 39, waist: 37 to 33(!), hips: 44 to 40.5, upper arm: 14 to 12, and thigh: 26 to 23. I did 46 days of drops (over the course of 2 months). I started at 199.3, I am at 182.3 today. Only 17lbs down (just over a 1/3 lb daily average), but a ton of inches gone. I also started the estrogen patches yesterday and should start my period this weekend. So, more losses may show up next week.

Here are the other real changes: I started the year at 207. My BMI was 32.1-- it's 28.3 now. Body fat was at 44%-- it's at 39.9 now. Muscle is about the same, so no muscle loss. Bone mass-- was 4.3... it's 4.8 now. Visceral fat was 13-- it's 11 now. I'm in this for the long haul and these are the things I am really working on... not just weight.

KMac, hope you are hanging in there!

Starting P3 today-- Final weight up .2: 182.5. I'm also supposed to start my period soon, so that could be why the last few days were a bust. Maybe I'll get a drop once that happens. I know we're supposed to stabilize in P3 and not go over (or UNDER) by 2lbs, but if I drop more than 2 in the next few days once my period starts, I'm not gonna do anything about it but be happy.

It's been so quiet here the past few weeks. I know some of it is that time of year and everybody is just really busy. Still, I hope everybody is well.

Leez, I hope you are having an amazing time, but I do miss you being here, and I am looking forward to your stories once you get back!

Morning all, I'm still alive and kicking!! It's been a busy week and I have my grand puppy which seems to be a full time job!!? I'm on a week long stall at 10-12 lb. down. And I exacerbated it with my birthday and some wine, which resulted in some dehydration and feeling yucky. But, I got myself back on track quickly. I'm going to visit my dad next Thursday and already meal planning for myself. I know some of you have traveled while in P2 and it takes some intentional forethought and planning. I've never had this much fat on my tummy area so it's driving me crazy that I don't see much evidence of fat loss. But, when you have gained 30lb. of fat in your middle section, it doesn't just disappear....clearly!! Also, the realization has hit me that since I gained so much weight, it's going to take an even greater effort during P3 and 4 to start back to weight training and meal planning. I'm not going to lose the 30lb. on this round on 500 calories, and I'm going to have 10 + lb. to lose the hard way. Clean eating, weight training and perhaps some caloric deficit the slow way. In the past, I've just been able to do a "clean up" HcG round and lose the 17lb and get back into my size 4's. NOW..............it's way different. I think all that stress and increased cortisol really did a number on my midsection and that sucker is holding on tight to the pounds.

Jenny---your perspective and motivation is great, and those results are super great. So many inches lost and markers improved!! Looks like it's a marathon and not a sprint for us!! The good news is that if we do it right, continue exercising and develop better nutrition habits. We won't have to do this again. And, be wayyyy healthier. I think we are both feeling the same. Yes, we want the weight gone, but we also need to improve the overall health situation.

Rose--you are showing us how it's done!

I walked the puppy and now I'm off to get some more steps in. It's so dang hot here that the walk is NOT FUN. But, somebody has to do it!!! I have been getting out at 7am which is a bit better.
