Thank you all for your prayers and support. He went into surgery today and he is fine!!!!!!!!!!!! The tumor was inside the middle of his front lobe and they had to pull the lobe apart(???somehow) and take it out! I talked to him about an hour after his surgery! I am so amazed at the miracle of modern medicine. THe tumor was inoperable when they first found it and finally when his life is in danger and it is affecting him they were able to take it out. He is talking, has no paralasis (that we know of yet) and was eating a cracker. I cannot tell you how relieved I am about this outcome. I have been stressed and upset all day and now relief!

Mom2two...glad things are better. We all sent up prayers for you.

Scale went back down this morning. Yeah me...so no real loss. I did the detox bath last night (Wednesday night ritual). I'm in love with it! You are soooo relaxed afterwards and I went to bed and slept like a baby. Amazing. This was the second time I've done it. Last week I lost 1; this week I'm down the 2.2lbs that I gained yesterday. The first time I did it...I did get my sweat on but this time the sweat was more....WAAAAY MORE. OMG. I was drained after. I now look forward to my Wedneday nights.

Let me share a sad story about someone dear to my heart. She was such a nice lady and I loved her dearly. Was a member of my church. She's been sick and in and out of the hospital. This last stay in the hospital they found out she had cirrhosis of the liver. Now I know most of you associate this with alcoholism but she has it from being morbidly obsese most of her life. The fat covered her organs (mainly liver) and her liver could not function. Her body just basically shut down and she passed away.

This was truly a MAJOR wake up call for me. I am even more than determined to get this weight off me and KEEP IT OFF. This is a sad story but let it be an eye opener for all of us who have lots of weight to lose. Let's stay focused and let's do this and get healthy.

This all does put it in perspective. We have to take care of our bodies. Thank you for sharing this story. I am sorry for the loss of your friend. I never knew you could have a liver shut down just from being overweight! Let this be motivating for you and loose weight in honor of your friend. Maybe she could not do it but you CAN!

Thank you golf. My brother in law pulled through last night and I am truly amazed at his strength. He did loose a lot of weight a few years ago and I think this does have a lot to do with his recovery. He is healthier and now on the road to recovery from his brain surgery.
My hair is still falling out and maybe it is both from stress and hcg combined. I am doubling my dose of biotin. Not sure how much good it will do but we shall see.

On another note: I went to my obgyn yesterday and mentioned that I lost 30 lbs last year and 16 this year from the hcg. He told me that the fda just came out and said that hcg does not work but does mess with menstral cycles. I can't see how they can say it does not work since it is working for most of us? It is what keeps up from being too hungry on the 500 cal. It also has taken a ton of my belly fat away!!!
It has, however, messed with my cycle. I have for the last several years had a short 24 day cycle and then on top of it the last few cycles I have had TOM for 10 days. I was told that I am low on progesterone and need to take suppliments for a few months and then off for a few months. I am going to try it as opposed to birth control pill or the procedure that he told me about.
Anyways thought I would put that out there and see what you all think.

Did he try to tell you to stop the HCG? Just curious...

I'm so glad you got positive news! I'll keep saying a prayer he has a full recovery.

.4 Release today but I'm totally bummed about this unplanned extension and stall thanks to TOM. Today would have been my LIW but I'm going to follow protocol and add 3 injections following the end of TOM. I would have been satisfied with 164 but I'm crossing my fingers I'll at least be rewarded with an LIW that is down a pound for a total of 20 for the round. I also learned a valuable lesson...plan better around your cycle. Twice in one round is just wasted HCG and days. I completely stalled to nothing or gains both times.

Not exactly. I told him it worked for me and kept me from being hungry. He just said "good for you, but they did find that hcg messes with the menstral cycle" then he raised his eyebrows at me. I said "Well there ya go!" and we left it at that.
He is a very conservative doctor but I think the world of him. He delivered both my kids by C-section so I have a "Wow!" complex for him.

    Hi Everyone!

I took a break from HCG since my round was going so bad, couldn't find the right dosage, was starving all the time, rather than keep cheating I took a break, made a new batch and started again on Monday. I have been away from the post for a couple of weeks now so there is no way I can catch up with everyone; I hope you are all doing great! As for me, this round is already looking more promising, doing well so far. My only concern is that I will have to take a plan interruption at the end of May since I'll be going on an 8 night cruise...so scare I always gain weight on cruises...I hope I can stick to P3 foods...any suggestions?

Keep up the good work everyone!!!

Hello. Im still afraid to tell anyone im on hcg. Guess I shouldn't say scared but I just don't want to hear the negativity. Like you said as long as it works for us we should be ok. Im loving the fact that everyone is starting to notice the weight loss. They ask "what are you doing?" I just say "low carbs and no sugar" that's it. I just don't wanna get into all that with people.

Scales were good to me today. I lost another 2 lbs today. Im sooooo glad the scales started moving again for me. Just keep going and never give up.

Welcome back. I hope you have great losses going forward.

    @Cupid
    Congrats on the release!

A pretty good .8 release this morning now that TOM has left the building. I'm so ready for P3...I think having my end date change has really been messing with me mentally since I was gearing up for P3. Two more injections then my 72 hour. I can't wait.
