    Hi Kooky,
    Wow, 9 lbs in 4 days.. that's amazing. I am starting today, did the 1st shot this morning and today is my loading day1. I am so excited about this diet, but really worry about keeping up with only 500 per day. I tend to cheat on diets and have failed many times in the past. How are your cravings? Does HCG hormone really helps with food cravings as they say?

    It does, Chloe. If u have the right dose, u should be feeling hungry. Follow grammy's instruction for adjusting the dosage. As for cravings, I will do a Cali Kicker if I am about to start craving. It's spicy and sour, but it works for me.

    ps... my shipment is still in customs.... start worrying!!!!!

    Oh I was just meaning 40 days. Until I can get this dosage right I'm not sure I could last longer. As I type this my stomach is growling and I'm staving *Sigh* I tried eating my Strawberries but that hasn't really done anything. THANKFULLY lunch is in 20 minutes!!!!

    As far as the leprin reset, I was reading about that today too. I'm thinking it would be good to do in P3 so the weight can stabilize.

    So you skipped your shot yesterday? How did it go? Besides the stall which I'm sure is temporary.

    @golf, thanks! Looking forward to being a part of the hgc family. Load day 1 went well - didn't have a chance to hop on de ole scale this morn - - will do that this evening.

    Great idea. I bought some chicken breast and tilapia, melba toasts, veggies and fruit. Planning to bake and/or grill meat and fish tonight. You said you made chili? I thought soups are not recommended right away? If I can eat soups on this diet I am in heaven , I love soups!!!!! Thanks in advance for any hints... Today is my loading day1 so I am gorging , but want to be all good and ready for Sunday, day 1 on VLCD.

    Don't know what resources you have already bought but two great spots for recipes are Harmony Clear book (Harmony is also a new moderator on this forum) "HCG made simple".......I purchased the kindle book version thru Amazon but often wish I had the hard copy of her book........Harmony has included many recipes in her book by her friend Tammy Skype who's recipe book I ordered online "HCG Diet Gourmet Cookbook"......I ordered by mail and it came quick......if you google her you will get sample recipes.....one the chili......her cookbook has loads of soup recipes......she has great innovative two ingredient menu's Szechwan Chicken with Cabbage as example......she brought into my life......apple cider vinegar with mother??, bragg's amino's and loads of fresh herbs and ways to mix legal spices together......REALLY WORTH it guys!!!!......easy peasy throw together meals with your thawed portions of whatever you choose.......just made Creole soup with Shrimp for company today at lunch.....then having BBQ steaks for supper with asparagus plus some added greek salad and potatoes for my company and frozen individual portions of cheesecake for others dessert......doesn't tempt me in the least to eat off protocol......ENJOY!!!!

    Hi Hooker -Did I tell you I love your name!!! Pretty intriguing!!! 43 days with the skips for me now I hope......I feel good on the hcg.....went back to 150iu again.......and like the mom's I feel slightly nauseated most all the time....but stay busy and try to run away from it........Are you sure you are starving or is your stomach just growling......I believe I read one of Grammy's posts about growling being very normal on HCG???? Just my two cents worth......STAY THE Course girl.....this is the real thing!!!
    I'm certain my stall is temperary.......before HCG I had probably three BM's plus per day......after HCG and with the smaller volumes of food I am lucky to go one in three days!!! So tomorrow I will be down......

    @golf I didn't lose again today. I went two days without losing then lost 2 lbs and now didn't lose again. It will be just fine!! You are staying on protocol and it works so that is what I tell myself. I think TOM is finally slowing down for me today so WOOT WOOT to the WOOOSHHHHHH lol hopefully!! I am almost thankful that I didn't lose a couple days, it was nice to see I could still stay on track. I know in the end it will pay off. You got this!!! Plus you are keeping all of us on track and making us smile. Mom's x2, too, love reading all your posts.

    Anyways, WELCOME all the new people, we have a great group going. I look forward to hearing how everyone else is doing. NO CANDY BARS! Kaaaaappppeeeesh. lol :}

    Good Afternoon lovely loaders!

    Well my load days left me with a 3 pound gain.... uggh... so the journey to sexy momma begins!!!

    Today is VLCD # 1 for me. I had an organic apple pack this morning, hamburger with mustard and green beans for lunch. I know green beans aren't officially on the program, but I truthfully don't like any of the recommended veggies!! Tonight I will have chicken and broccoli (I know another off program veggie) but I am still hoping that I will see some real results.

    Anyone have any opinons on substituing veggies???

    I measured everything out last night and my veggies are only 44 calories each, so I am staying in the "green" family and hoping that it will be okay.

    I won't lie today has been a little tough, I am feeling a bit hungry, but am powering through it.

    Everyone is so inspiring with your losses and I appreciate all the support you guys are giving!!!!

    I'll check in later tonight to see how everyone is and I'm crossing my fingers for a big day one loss!!!

    I so needed to hear this today. Today is not a good day for me. I feel like I'm starving again. and the growlings and emptiness I feel are not helping Yesterday was fabulous, today not so much. I'm scared because its friday. Monday - Friday seems to be ok for me. I have a set schedule. This is the weekend coming up and I don't know what i will do with myself to keep my mind off food. I'm having MAJOR craves, but like the rest of you ladies, I am powering through it. I'm staying the course and keep reminding myself it will be worth it in the end and its only 35 days left. Its just so easy to give up, ya know?

    Oh and the name? I wish I had a better back story. Me and my friend use to call each other Hooker and an endearing way. It was Xmas time so it turned into TheXmasHooker. I have used this screen name for about 11 years now. lol I just can't seem to shake it!

    I'm new here (hope I'm posting in the right place) and am looking for some support. I'm on Day6 and am down 6lbs already! Woo-hoo!! I'm having a really hard time feeling decent though. I have no energy, want to sleep all the time - and am really started to hate chicken (and I'm only on Day6). Does it get better? I'm excited to be losing this so quickly - definitely keeps me motivated....hoping second week is easier!!
