    I totally agree with Melaniea, you are doing amazing. Try not to focus so much on the number. That number can mean anything. Maybe its water, maybe its muscle.....point is you just don't know. I know how much we all like to see that number go down, down, down, but its better to notice when clothes start fitting a little better. Or how about when they get to big Keep it up mama. you will get your WHOOSH soon enough

    Ugggggg so I have been using "stevia in the raw" on EVERYTHING and just found out it is not good for the diet. If you want stevia the liquid form is the best to use. The "stevia in the raw" has carbs=sugars. Well I guess the good thing is it probably is what has made me slower at losing too, so I am getting there with the right science needed for my body. That is a positive.

    Thank you. I really thought I was going to have to give up. I thought I was going to be one of the elite few that couldn't get their dosage correct. Whew *whips forehead* I could have NEVER went 40 days like that lol.

    Oh wow it is? I can't say I love stevia in the raw, but I have been using it once a day. Good to know though.

    Nope now you are stuck with us LOL! My dose was off for 4 days and I hated it, I felt the same way you did. I am so happy you got it to work well with your body chemistry. Now it is all about the woosh like you said!

We decided not to overnight in Phoenix as 90 minute drive seemed tolerable......only had a grapefruit with me.......arrived home at 10 pm tired and not terribly hungry but in a quandry as to what to do???.....had only consumed about 250 cal.s all day.....worried about muscle loss so decided to eat proper portion size of beef and cucumbers......Slept well and awoke to .7 loss........Disappointed slightly but understand that daily pound loses are not realistic.....DARN!!! Perhaps choosing to go to bed without eating would have been a wiser choice.....who knows???

    Golf- you have amazing will power!!!!!!! good for you on not indulging on these foods. I too was tempted this weekend. Not at the wedding but at a bridal fair I showed at on Sunday. There was all sorts of cakes and cupcakes with cookies on top ect. They sent my kids home with 2 boxes of them!!!!!! Yikes! I froze one box and put the other in the fridge. I love Chocolate cookies too! I made them (modified for protocol) on P3 last year and filled my craving and it was legal. There are so many ways to make stuff that will fulfill us and we will not be eating off protocol. (once in P3) I stayed on a modified p3 for 10 months until I went to Holland for Christmas and it went all out the window. Did not do too bad with the gain. About 6 lbs over the holidays, but once I got home I started on the carbs everywhere and I could not stop. Total of 9 lbs gain and that ended me up here again. I like the strictness of the diet that makes me take action. You can eat normally when off P3, just in moderation and see what your body reacts to when you introduce each new food.
    I too thought I would loose more this weekend with so much activity and not much time to eat. But alas, only 1/2 lb each day. My arms and legs are sore from all the activity and I have been having shaky leg and arm syndrome since the wedding, having to hold heavy cameras. I feel like I drank too much coffee and my arms want to be restless. That is one of the reasons why I asked you about golfing and arm strength. I tired much easier than normal. I felt like I was fading after the 4.5 hour wedding and usually can go on for at least a 10 hour wedding with no problems, just back pain at the end.
    Keep your chin up and you can do it. I hear you on the down days. You all helped me on my down days and I can't tell you how much it means to me.

    Hello guys... I've been dying to get on here all day and catch up on all the posting. Although I can't comment on each and everyone. I'm sending some positive vibes your way.

    Sorry for all that have gained a little but we have to remember this is a life long journey and we can't give up. Just pick up where we left off and move forward. I'm knew and this but I know how it feels when that scale goes in the wrong direction. There are so many different points of views regarding the diet...you never know if its the eggs or the stevia or exactly what it is. My friend is doing this diet in Atlanta thru a weight loss center and she was told to have stevia vs splenda. She was also told she could substitute an egg for her fruits/breads (snacks) that she has chosen to skip. She has still loss so you just really never know. We have to find out what works for our bodies and stick to it.

    Congrats to all that lost a few...thanks to the scale fairy who has definitely been by my house. I'm just waiting for my appt tomorrow evening to verfiy the number the scale fairly left me. If it really is 12.1lbs in R1P2D5. I will be really happy. This is the very first time I've done hcg and I'm truly loving it as well as the support for all my "HCG buddies" in this forum. I will definitely keep you guys posted on the progress.

    Missed so much this weekend and finally caught up. I am down 1/2 lb this a.m. So total of 10# I think. This is exactly how my body reacted last time. I am on VLCD day 10. I think I am cheating though. I can't take tea any more so I bought So delicious coconut milk coffee creamer and have about 1 to 2 cups a day with cream. There is no fat and 1 sugar so way on par or less than the 1tbs of milk we are allowed. There are tons of sugars and some fat in that.

    Lucy-Bad Friend!!!!!!! I cannot believe she would do that. I would be horrified. Un-friend her and delete all her posts. If you are getting questions from others though I would address it and nip it in the bud before their imaginations run wild. Not telling you what to do, this is just my opinion. Keep your head up and know this is not the easy way out!!! I think this is resetting you hypothalamus gland and getting to a healthier you.

    Kimmy- you can add 1 tbs of milk to your tea. This is on protocol.

    Mel- Sugar in spices!!!! That got me last time. Mrs. Dash had sugar in it and stalled me. I bet this is where your stall came from. I like the idea of 3 protein and 1 fruit. That would keep my protein def. at bay this time possibly. I too do not eat the melba unless I am adding it to a recipe. Only twice so far. I think if I started the grisini sticks I would not want to stop.

    Daedae! cogrags!!!!!!!!! So happy for you. Love babies and having them. Best thing in the world. Nursing will help with weight loss for some people.

    Hooker/kooky- Just get back on the wagon. You can do it.

    Golf- I found a chicken broth from Trader joes that has only 5 calories per cup and no sugar. It is the free range fat free one. Usually fat free signals sugars but not on this one.

    mom2boys- yikes! good luck on tomorrows scale. Maybe it was the oil

    I too am afraid to touch oil, sugar ect. There was pizza grease on a baking sheet and I moved it and then thought "Oh no!" and washed my hands as fast as I could.
    Good luck everyone. I have a scrap retreat to go to this weekend in Tahoe and am worried about staying on protocol. There is gonna me snacks and food everywhere and booze! I read in the rouge saloon that vodka was ok if you cut out a fruit but I might get more pages done if I don't drink!

    Hi Everyone! I am starting today and typing away while finishing off Ben and Jerry's . I hope to lose 20 lbs after multiple surgeries. This will be my first time to try hhcg drops. Good luck everyone!

    Thank you Kimmy7 and mom2two for reminding me that its not just about the pounds and that the inches count too! I lost 5.75 inches!!! That cheered me up And I deleted that so-called friend and explained to everyone what I was doing so friends and family didn't think I was starving myself. Thanks for you support and encouragement. Week one and I only lost around 5 lbs so I'm hoping week 2 is better for me. Thanks again! and Maybe one day I will have number like you guys

    I think I may have found my culprit for not losing like I want! TOO MUCH WATER!! Never thought I would say that seeing as how I am a huge soda drinker, but since I started protocol I have drank 1 gal of water everyday which is 128oz and sometimes I drink more thinking that's what I was supposed to be doing. I just saw on a thread that 1/2 your body weight in oz is what you are supposed to drink which is 62oz for me..I doubled that! Lets see if this works now

    Hello Everyone,
    Today is day #1 for me. I am on a doctor supervised HCG diet. I took my first pink pill this morning and had to let it melt under my tongue. I have to say I feel like a total pig since I am fat loading. I hope I am not over doing it? This is what I had so far.
    Breakfast- 2 eggs and 1 toast with sesame oil
    Lunch Mcdonalds-Quarter pounder with cheese and bacon, Large Fries and a diet coke thrown in for good measure! lol
    Snack- Reeses Chocolate bar, Mazarpin Cake and and an entire container of pringles chips.
    I bought some ice cream but at this point i don't know if i can eat anymore since I feel totally sick and disgusted.
    I hope this diet isn't some big joke and i get stuck with some kinda of 20 pound gain after this binge.
