    Hello? Is it me? Is this thing working? LOL

    I tried to post a couple of times over the last couple days and nothing seems to be showing up. Not sure why, but trying again!

    Thanks to everyone who has welcomed me to this group. I have been spending some time just reading and gathering information from the "pros" as well as feeling the pain of being a newbie.

    I don't know if it is a guy thing or what, but unlike many of you I am HUNGRY all the time!! I have been very observant of the allowable foods and weighing everything, but I cannot seem to get ahead of this hunger thing. Even my coworkers make comments about my growling belly.

    I am loosing weight, but only by sheer determination am I staying with this. No headaches thankfully, but the no breakfast thing really sets up a terrible scenario for me. I have never been able to drink tea or coffee on an empty stomach without getting more than a bit woozy and nauseous. Matters not if it is hot or cold. I get up very early in the am (between 4:30 and 5) and by 7 I can hardly stand it. You can imagine that by noon it is almost impossible not to shove anything and everything into my mouth that is in my path!

    I have included some stats below so you guys can see where I am at. ANY assistance or ideas would surely be helpful.

    Preweight: 187
    Load day 1 188.4
    Load day 2 191.3
    VLCD 1 189.7 (Sunday 3/11)
    VLCD 2 185.5 (Monday 3/12)
    VLCD 3 183.1 (Tuesday 3/13)

    Tomorrow 3/15 I will weigh in and see what the results are for VLCD 4 (Wednesday 3/14)

    I think I am using the right abbreviations (VLCD Very Low Calorie Day)?

    Can someone tell me how to get a tracker on my account too?

    I know........clueless newbie.......hahahah

    Thanks for the pointer to the group who answers questions......but who are they? I mean, what is the group called? Is that Grammy?

    Not sure that it is so much a detox from sugar and carbs as I have been observant for a long time of no "hidden" sugars and then limiting myself to no more than 20 gm a day....BUT I am (was?) a huge consumer of all things fatty.....cheese, bacon, too much red meat etc. Not very good on the lean protein thing, but will for sure go to where they answer questions and ask away!

    All of you ladies are very inspiring and I am thankful to be in your company.

    I too would love a link to the injec HCG.......please

    Well before I started hcg during TOM I always took diurex to help get rid of the excess water and bloated feeling. I know it says no OTC meds but the only ingredient is caffeine anhydrous. And I don't want to throw you off, I stuck to protocol but I upped my calories because I was hungry today but only my protein and veggies. I was afraid that I would have gone a little further and ordered a big greasy pizza but that didn't sound good..especially since I gained. So my extra protein and veggies did me well I did only eat 500 cal yesterday and was miserable so I won't be doing that during TOM ever again!

    Hi PhatDad- To get to the ladies that can help with dosing go the the "forum" then to "General HCG Diet information" Then the first thread is "Please post questions here-we will try to answer asap"
    Beth is usually the one who monitors that thread. She has helped me with my dosing. Grammy can help too.
    What I did was skip a dose and see how I felt 8 hours later.
    hungry - up your dose
    no hungry - lower your dose
    I went down in my dose and feel fine now. I have a feeling that 200 is a lot! I think you might have to lower your dose.

    I think in my opinion I think you are still detoxing as well as getting used to the hcg in your system. That is why pregnant women are told they have pregnancy brain!

    I will have to bump on the hcg inject link. Mel is the one who has that info.

    I hear you on the no breakfast thing. I eat my 1/2 grapefruit in the a.m. and then hold off on lunch as long as I can. Drink lots of water. Than I either use strawberries or apples as my snack for the day. I cut them into very small slices and much whenever I feel hungry. You can spread your fruit and even you veggies out during the day as long as you don't mix 2 vegies and 2 fruits.

    I really don't know about the diuretic. Maybe one of the other ladies can answer when they get on in the morning. Otherwise I would either goggle search it on the forum or ask Beth or Grammy.
    If you are hungry maybe your dose is off as well??????

    Hey Lucy- I googled it and here is a thread that talks about it. It looks like some take it during TOM and some take for maintenance.

    Diuretics?

    Week 1=8.2 pounds gone!!!! Somehow I am still not happy that I lost this amount, I guess I just want some instant results...like losing 40 pounds in a week, lmao. I am finally back in the 180's, but I still have another 7 pounds to go from where I was in January. I guess I will keep it up and see the results at the end of next week. I am ready to be under the weight that I couldn't get under for so long.

    Let's see if I can stay motivated For some reason, I always give up with the weight loss..

    Week 1- Total of 6 pounds gone!! Not as big of losses as some are experiencing but I'm happy.

    Started cooking for next weeks meals last night (poached/baked chicken) and will try my hand at cooking a tenderloin today to slice into 100 gram portions. Since I'm using no oil or marinade to cook it, any suggestions for best results?

    Be HAPPY!!! What other diet could we possibly lose this much weight in a mere 7 days? In the past my biggest loss was 8 lbs in a MONTH and that was big. Be proud of what you have accomplished in only 1 week!!

    UGH!! I am just STUCK!! I've been at EXACTLY the same weight since Sunday. I'm so frustrated. I expected a stall at some point, but I'm only on day 13 and only lost 8lbs so far. How can I eat only 500 calories a day and not lose weight? It must be the HCG activator instead of the real thing. I ordered some yesterday and hope that it kick starts some movement. Hard to continue on this and not lose anything more.....but the alternative isn't much better. Think I'll try walking on the treadmill today too.

    I'm down .6lbs today. TOM is on the way. LOL. Question: Anyone use Splenda? Ive heard you could and then I heard you could not. Advice please?
