    Thanks. I like sweet and low so maybe I will go that route. Wasn't sure about the Stevia and if I would like it or not but willing to try. I hope I haven't been setting myself up for a stall with the Splenda (even though I still lost); TOM is on the way so today i only dropped.6 so that's probably why. I hope I get a big number AFTER TOM. LOL.

    I am down almost a pound today. I am .2 short of the entire pound but I am taking it after I didn't loose yesterday. I have a couple of questions for everyone. There are a few issues I am having and was wondering if anyone else was too.
    -very jittery arms and legs kinda of like shaky leg syndrome. I feel like I am going to jump out of my skin.
    -very loose stools. I read on here that some people have that as opposed to 1 bowel movement per 3 days. I am eating a lot of cucumbers so I wonder if it could be that. Cucumbers are a natural diuretic.
    -my husband is complaining about my breath. This happened to me when I was on Atkins and lost 20 lbs. (after 1st baby) I was burning fat and it made my breath stink. I also checked with Keto sticks and I am in the moderate zone for burning fat.

    Sounds like you are in ketosis (less than ideal smelling breath). Not sure if that is good or bad on this diet.
    How many cucumbers? I eat 1 a day (or a little less depending on how big they are) and am not having the problem you described.
    Try magnesium supplements for the legs.

    I was wondering if we would get into Ketosis on this diet. The sticks have never registered for me when I've tried no carb dieting. I hadn't thought to try it with this. I was wondering why I AM NOT having smelly breathe since we are not eating as much. So far I'm fine so maybe I'm NOT in Ketosis. I think I have some sticks left. I will look and see if I even still have them and see what I register.

    Started VLCD on the 10th and am down 12lbs! Are you kidding - - 12 lbs in 6 days? I love it!

    I'm starting my loading this Sunday. I don't like starting a diet in the middle of the week. Odd, I know. I have all my supplies, and my shopping list for Saturday. I really want to start. I'm tired of being at this nasty weight. I'm ready to be my old self again. I've been through a round of this before. And I dread the loading days. You really have to have absolutely nothing planned for those days, because you just feel like crap. Which is hard for me because I work 7 days a week, but I was able to get off this weekend, so I have no excuse to put this off. Until Sunday I will be prepping myself mentally. I was thinking about only loading for one day, but if the hcg doesn't take affect in our bodies until about the 3rd day, then I might as well continue to load. I have to make it though the first week, that was my toughest part last round. After that, I'm good.
    You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

    Wow what a great motivating group! This is my second round...last April I did my first round and I kept most of it off until I stopped working out...these past 2 months, a lot was due to stress I gained back almost half, I also had more neighborhood get to gethers that involved eating and drinking....so this time, I want to stay focused and eat clean mon thru fri and not worry so much on the weekends as long as I work out, I think I will be good. So today is VLCD 8 and I have lost 8.2 lbs. I stay on protocol with the exception of breakfast. I do eat one egg+ 1/4 cup of egg whites every morning. I try to walk or do 30 min on the elliptical 3x week. It's not strict protocol but it works for me.

    Hi everyone! I loaded Mar 13-14 and am now on VLCD1. This is my second round. I lost 16.5# on my first round and was rock solid stable for 6 weeks, and truly couldn't wait to start HCG again. I have another 26# to lose and hope I can accomplish it on this round. I will take what I can get, though, even if it's less! I am planning to go 28-31 days this time. Last time I had to stop at 23 days. This looks like a supportive group, so I'd like to join you.

    I was eating 1 cuc. a day or 1/2 if I was not hungry enough to eat the entire thing. I will try the mag supplements. Thank you for suggesting that. The shaky arms and legs are driving me crazy. I feel like I need to shake them but will look like a crazy person if I walked around doing that!!!!
    As for Ketosis- I saw a thread from one of the seniors who said that it was not the goal to go into Ketosis. I did go into it last time though, I had strips left over and checked periodically.
