    OMG!!!! You have had quite the day!!!! Looks to me like you did the BEST you could under the circumstances!!!! Good for you!!!! Here's hoping that Hubby's surgery went well!!! Normally I would highly recommend putting your feet up and having a glass of wine........so today I would recommend a lovely glass of Perrier with a slice of lemon and 2 drops of lemon stevia.......I highly recommend you indulge with a lovely wine glass and stop beating yourself up!!!! ENJOY!!!

    Running into the surgery center like my finger has been cut off...they pack the HCG syringes in ice. my oh my. I really hope I did not just throw $200 down the drain.
    2:00 pm I have not eaten all day and I am supposed to drive the guy who just had general anesethia home in an hour- yeah, better get food in me asap- but what? Go across the street to the steak house and ask for a 4oz steak and romaine. NO BUTTER NO OIL NO SALT NO PAM NO NOTHING. I hope I dont gain tomorrow from eating out, but I think the stress alone over those dang shots will cost me a pound.

    I seem to have lost my brain with the 8 pounds I lost so far.

    Beth is usually the one who monitors that thread. She has helped me with my dosing. Grammy can help too.
    What I did was skip a dose and see how I felt 8 hours later.
    hungry - up your dose
    no hungry - lower your dose
    I went down in my dose and feel fine now. I have a feeling that 200 is a lot! I think you might have to lower your dose.

    I think in my opinion I think you are still detoxing as well as getting used to the hcg in your system. That is why pregnant women are told they have pregnancy brain!

    I will have to bump on the hcg inject link. Mel is the one who has that info.

    I hear you on the no breakfast thing. I eat my 1/2 grapefruit in the a.m. and then hold off on lunch as long as I can. Drink lots of water. Than I either use strawberries or apples as my snack for the day. I cut them into very small slices and much whenever I feel hungry. You can spread your fruit and even you veggies out during the day as long as you don't mix 2 vegies and 2 fruits.

    Good luck and I hope you get your dosing right.

    Oh no...if they were packed in ice they are probably ok...crossing my fingers for you! I think you did well under the circumstances! I think I will keep an apple in my purse at all times....good luck on the scale tomorrow!

    Hi all,
    I know I haven't posted recently but I have been keeping track of you guys and all I have to say is that I am SO PROUD of each and every one of you. It's tough to change everything about how you eat and view food but it will all be worth it in the end. I've discovered that I am a slow loser. I am perfectly fine with that though since I am losing weight. I follow the protocol except that I have cut out most fruit and eat more veggies. I have been feeling great since I figured out my "sweet spot" in regards to my dose. One observation that I have about my weight loss in that I will go through a few days of losing a few tenths a day, then I will gain a little. The next day after a gain I will lose up to 2 pounds. I have a hypothesis about this that comes from reading "Pounds and Inches" for the 100th time. I think what is happening is that the fat is burned up and then the shell of the fat cell is left and filled with water until my body has a chance to break it down. The day before I have a decent loss it seems like I have to urinate A LOT more frequently. That is why little losses (or even little gains) haven't been bothering me in the least. I hope that helps some of you not get disappointed when the scale doesn't move like you want it to, I know how frustrating that can be when you see other people losing much more.
    I can't even begin to express how happy I am to finally be taking care of myself. I put on a pair of jeans a few days ago that I haven't worn in 3 years. I had a rough time towards the end of last year. My 16 month old son had 2 brain surgeries (one at 9 months and one at 11 months) and my mom tried to commit suicide, all in the matter of 3 months. Now that everybody seems to be healthy (for the most part) I can really work on myself instead of taking care of everyone else.
    I love where this is taking me physically as well as mentally!!!

    thanks Melaniea. Here is what I did this am;

    Got up at my usual 4:30 am. Reduced my dose to 175iu. Went off to work. By the time 10 am rolled around I was so hungry I was eyeing things that no sane person would ever eat. By noon I ate my chicken and salad so quickly I don't think I ever really tasted it. By 2pm I was not only starving once again but I had a whopper of a headache.

    It is now 6:20 and I can hardly stand looking at the computer screen as the headache has morphed into a migraine. sigh I think I will just go to bed now.

    Tomorrow I will try taking it down to 150iu and see if that does anything more positive.

    I am tenacious if nothing else.

    Well it looks like I have a lot to catch up on lol. Today wasn't good for me due to my son bring me a nice cold! God knows I love him but I wanted to spray him down with Lysol whenever he steps out of daycare lol I have never gotten so sick so many times until I had a child. Anyway, last night I took Nyquil because I felt horrible and then freaked out immediately because I have no idea if they had sugar to it. Then I woke up to weigh myself and see a .6 loss. I went right back to bed and stayed there until 4:30pm. No eating or drinking. Woke up and decided to weight myself again and it says 280 lol. Guess I will see the real weight tomorrow morning

    Hoping all is well and I promise to catch up more tomorrow. I'm gonna go lay back down...Feeling a little weak

    Oh...I feel for you and I pray you have a good weigh in tomorrow!!! I think you really did do the best you could in that situation, I would have freaked and ate the pizza! I used to go to costco all the time with my grandma to help her get groceries and she would get a brat and I would get the pizza...oh that pizza!! One slice is like 3 from pizza hut and it was sooooooo good! So I'm proud of you for indulging in your water and I will remember to do the same if ever in that situation. But one day in my future I WILL have costco pizza again!!!

    Explain to me what a "free food" is. I have seen a few posts that talk about the free foods but I don't want to take action on that until I know I'm safe. For instance, pickles! I love pickles and I ran into a post about pickles being a free food if there is no sugar added. Does this mean It doesn't count to my calories but I still have to eat the right portion size or I can indulge in however many I want, and does it count as a veggie?? I saw grammy say she eats however many she wants but has to drink more water for the sodium. I would LOVE to eat pickles here and there, that would be awesome!

    Yes free food means your can eat it and that does not count into your calories and you can eat as much as you want.
