VLCD 1 - woke up not feeling well this am. I suspect it was the pork ribs last night. So far, I have only had 1/2 grapefruit. No hunger (no appetite) and no headaches so that is great. It is already 3 pm, so I suspect I will only get one of the meals in today. Hopefully that doesn't mess up my start.

jumperchic - I did find my last round that if I ate the breadsticks, I would feel more hunger and have cravings. Skipped the breadsticks after the first few days and felt great. I plan to skip them this round too.

Lucy, 14" loss - that is awesome!

Sounds like everyone is doing great. It is so motivating to read how everyone else is doing. I can't wait to have good results to share. Keep up the great work!

My dizziness from the last couple days is gone and I am not feeling achy anymore. I am not particularly hungry either. I will go back and read everything that I missed. I tried to keep up while away but had to use my friends laptop since mine is so stinkin old that I was having problems with it. Time for a new Mac book for me!!!!!
No more 170's!!!!! and it also sounds like you are feeling better, great news today!!

Hello all! I am new to the HCG diet and just started my first load day today. I am using the Frequency App patches, and I definitely feel stuffed already...two more days of this, really? But I am plugging away with nuts for snacks throughout the day.

I have a lot of weight to lose in the long run (about 140#), but I have become so wary of the roller coaster of diets throughout my life that I haven't put any effort into losing weight in quite a few years. I have tried exercising on and off through these past years just to stay healthy, but I don't enjoy exercising much and the types of activity that I think I would enjoy is really difficult at my weight (i.e. yoga).

I was (am?) skeptical of this diet, but it is hard to argue with all the testimonies on this forum! I am hoping this will be a good kick start for me to drop some weight...and if nothing else, a good way to detox and tackle those stingy carb/sugar cravings! So thankful to find a place for support. I don't think I would have taken the plunge without this forum!

Hi Everyone! I was also getting joint pain, but Epsom baths help me. I have fibromylgia/restless legs and this is a life saver!

Im getting very worried. I have stalled and I feared I would at this weight. You see the hot "ex" I would need to meet in 3 weeks.....has moved up to this Saturday. I can just cry. I can't fit into anything and am so tired. This is not the first appearance I had played out in my mind I will try to up the water etc. Should I cut out fruit? I already do not take the bread.

I am sorry I left you high and dry for a few days. I will start cracking jokes again tomorrow
So I see we are all melting away which is a very good thing.
Melbas and Coffee. I HATE coffee black so am not drinking much of it and am scared to death to put creamer in it. 1 tb of milk wont even touch how I like it. (want coffee with your cream and sugar). Melbas I have been taking all along and have been doing ok. Actually my losses slowed to .4 when I stopped the melbas for two days.

I tested my shots with a pregnancy test and they are good (Yipee!!!!) Also took a shot from the hot car incident today and was fine, but man am I dealing with some bloating issues. My stomach was flat up until this morning....well, will drink more water.

For those who are stalling, READ the threads "stalls” – I read it and boy did it help me a lot understand why we stall. Made me feel better about it anyway.

losses: .4 yesterday and another .4 today. I REALLY WANT a WHOOSH! Pretty please??!?!?!?!!?!?
10 more shots and 13 more days until phase 3...hot diggity dog!!!

Wow a lot to catch up on.
Mel-congrats on staying strong at busch gardens. Hope you had fun as well. Thanks for your words of encouragement as well.
Golf- the loose skin is normal. At the end of my first round I had lost so much weight so fast that I have a very loose belly. Also from the lack of lotion I had super dry skin. It took about a month or two for the skin to shrink and the body to rearrange itself. People kept asking me if I was still loosing weight but I was keeping it the same with the weight. My body was just rearranging itself.
SDrunner- Thanks for the tip on epson salts. I have had the worst shaky leg and arms syndrome this round. I usually just have restless legs normally. I tried the magnesium supplements but I about asphyxiated my husband with my gas.
Lucy-did you get my email? Just want to check. Are you going to be 23 days into the hcg for a break??? I can't remember what you wrote. If you are still having questions about the break google what Grammy writes and she is usually right on. Great job on the measuring!!!
Cupid &Mel- I totally agree with the no breadsticks. Last time I had them and as soon as I had one I wanted more. Never did cheat but it was hard. Now I only use the melba toast only if I am making a crab cake for binding it. I grind it up. Or on veal for a coating. That way I don't crave them and I use them very rarely. Also cupid good job on the 2lb loss.
Kimmy-way to go on fitting in your jeans!!!
Phatdad- So happy for you on the dosage control. You have great will power for sticking through it during the really tough time.
Evan- great will power!!!! good job on sticking to Protocol.
Islander- It is hard the first week. Some have no hunger at all. I had some but it was a dosing issue for me. Maybe check your dose. You have had this hcg in your system for 3 days so it should have taken affect. Beth told me to skip a dose and see how you feel 8 hours later. Hungry-up your dose, not hungry - lower your dose. Stay with the dose for a few days each change to see how you feel- as for getting to this thread - this is what I do. Open up the home page of the forum and top right it says my mom2two name. I click on that. Then under my profile photo it says "see latest posts" that takes me to the last place I was and I know where I left off.
momof-yay I am glad your shots are still good! I am feeling better so I hope you are as well. I think it was the new batch for me. I thought of the prego test last night as I was falling asleep and was going to mention it today but forgot of course!
Birdee- thanks for the detox bath recipe. I will use it. SDrunner also suggested I use it for my shaky leg and arm problem.
Welcome all the new loaders and hcg'ers!
OKAY will check back soon you BIG LOOSERS!!! I love being a BIG LOOSER!

Mom2- I did not get your email, I don't have anything in my inbox. I will be done with my 21 day round on the 25th and will be leaving for home the next day. At this point I have tossed up so many ideas. First I decided that I was going to do my two days with no hcg on 500 cals, then go to p3 and try my best and switch to patches to make it less stressful on my busy life, now I'm thinking of quitting all together. I have lost 10 lbs, fit better into my clothes (still have some fat around my abdomen and thighs I would love to get rid of) but basically I'm just tired. My body is rejecting chicken, which I learned from the past couple times after throwing it up, I have allergies to seafood and I try to ration out my red meat. I have not eaten veggies in a week because I gag at the site of them, but my fruit is doing ok. At this point I am so stressed over everything I read, and I don't want to be second guessing every decision I make for the rest of my life. I think i'm going to try it with diet and exercise. I was running before hcg and lost 10 lbs, then i got a stress fracture and was told i couldn't run for 6 weeks and i am going bridesmaids dress shopping at the end of April and the wedding is in October so I wanted to be able to buy my dress in the size I would be not what I was. I love the fact that I'm losing weight fast and look and feel better but I want to be able to eat real food one day, and I don't mean going crazy and eating junk all the time, I just want to be able to have a home cooked dinner like spaghetti, or grill out with BUNS and MAC N CHEESE without the worry in my head of "I have just gained 5 lbs from eating that" I want exercise to be a part of my daily life but I thought in order to do that I could start exercising in p3 when I'm resetting so that I'm resetting to include exercise. My husband was air force and he is very active and exercises everyday multiple times a day so I know I want to be like him and not worry about eating a piece of cake and gaining 5 lbs.

Mom2two- Use 2 cups or a little more and without the baking soda. I usually do my legs for 10 minutes and then fill up the rest of the tub with additional hot water. I sleep so well I hope it works for you too!

    HI lucy
I resent the email to you. I totally understand. I have been avoiding chicken as well but not throwing it up. I am using onions and cucumbers for my vegis cause I don't the other vegies much either. I think you should still try and stabilize or at least gradually ease into foods and working out. Good luck and I hope you feel better and 10 lbs is awesome!!!!! Way to go.

I got your email this time and I will definitely finish this round out the right way. I have 6 days left of VLCD then I will do the 3 weeks of p3. I don't want to ruin the progress I have made but I can't hide the fact that no matter how much weight/inches I have lost I have been miserable. I am constantly hungry so I did what I was told to adjust my dose and that has not helped..most likely it is just my lack of eating because I just cant do it anymore. I am so weak, tired, agitated, and stressed out that I really do think I should stop. If I feel up to it at a later day I may try again but I am beyond happy with where I am at and have the motivation to keep going. I in no way intend to go back to my old eating habits, I just want more of a variety like green beans which are my fave. I did look up some p3 friendly recipes and I am really excited to try making breads and pizza crust with the almond flour, it sounds yummy! and now I'm going to figure out p3 deserts Thanks again for all your help!!
