So in talking to my husband he does not think I should go back on p2 since we have so much planned and he wants to go to 6 flags on April 14th, let alone dinner with friends on the 7th.
Hmmm in writing all this down I think I will be able to work it out. I can go back on p2 sunday for 10 days, just be stingy with dinner on the 7th and stop the hcg on the 10th for the 3 transition days until the 13th and start p3 back on the 14th. I would like to loose a bit more. I am happy with the losses I have had so far. 16 lbs I think. I usually loose better after the scheduled break so maybe another 8 to 10 lbs????
Do you guys think it is worth it? I was hoping to not have to do an entire other round next year. I can only do it in March/April as that is really my only slow time for work.
I know I have to make this decision on my own but I would like to hear some input if you have any ideas. I am not so worried about a goal weight. I am happy with my clothes fitting again, if not loose on me. We are also planning on doing some bike riding now that our son can ride. Nothing big but something for me to get out of my office and take break for work.
I may need to do the same thing. I figure it will count as a cheat each time. Knowing that you may only lose 2-3 lbs and happy where you are...I will do it. Good luck with your decision

I have found Italian Beef....OMG GOOD! I take a handful of cherry tomatoes cut up and saute some fresh garlic in it. Throw some garlic salt, italian seasoning, and a pinch of red pepper flakes in with some extra water and simmer it down. While that is cooking I brown some 93% lean beef. Then throw it in the tomato pan. SOOO Good! WOW! I'm just getting tired of spinach and asparagus.

Cabbage is on the list of allowable veggies, any thoughts on brussel sprouts? They are like mini cabbages, right?!
What are some of everyone's favorite recipes?

I've just finished day 8 of the VLCD.

With about 14 more lbs to go... how long of a round should I do? I was thinking 26 days but my initial goal was to loose 21 lbs. Do I keep going until its gone or before 40 days? P&I isn't real clear on that.

My bf and I always go out on date night for dinner, and last week I controlled the situation by insisting on cooking at home for him. The weather was sooo nice, we grilled. Now this week date night is approaching and if we go out..... what do I order OMG!

Sorry for all of the random thoughts and questions! I love losing!

So now, as I am reading up on P3 (4 days away baby!!) still reading about this dang cocoa crack. Ok gonna give this another whirl. Made it with Xylitol this time- Holy mother lovin frijoles....rahab here I come!!!!! Gone in 5 minutes, whole family ate it. They loved the crunchies that the Xylitol made in the mix.

WOW! I am going to have a really hard time waiting until Sunday to eat more of this stuff....it Really is addicting.
Isn't...I had chocolate covered strawberries tonight...delicious.

I think it's a good idea; because I've been so miserable this round and have nonstop hunger, I'm actually thinking to cycle in order to be able to stay in P2 long enough to get as close to goal as possible. I say, do what works for you...good luck.

Technically is a little like cheating because coconut oil is not part of the original protocol, some people can use in p2 and still have good loses while others may gain or stall. As far as the daily amount...it's kind of trial and error, you have to figure out what's the max amount YOU can have without bad side effects...everyone is different, for me it's one tbsp. Once you make your daily amount you can munch on it throughout the day. Hope the scale is good to you tomorrow.

Gee I am so close to goal but with only one shot left, not sure I am going to join Mel in the 130ís. You know what though- I am VERY pleased with my losses to take me to 141.2 (or less by tomorrow). I fit into all my clothes again but will not go out and buy any clothes until I am done re-shaping in P3/P4.

So today I noticed I have a little bloating again in my tummy- UGH! Iím sure its from no ďGOĒ for 4 days (yes I am drinking smooth move, but it just laughs at me). Or I could be bloated from TOM? I had an ablation Feb 2011 and havenít really had a TOM or PMS in over a year but these last couple of months some VERY LIGHT spotting for an hour and some PMS symptoms are returning. Having said that my tataís are VERY sore and swollen! HCG and I are going to come to blows if I get a TOM this month!- he he

    Happy losses everyone!
    P3 here I come
Eating out it's always a gamble on this diet, you give instructions but could never be sure what really happens in the kitchen...especially if everything is cooked on the same grills or with the same utensils; I'm sure if they're cooking twostakes they will use the same oily or buttery spatula to flip yours. Who knows really...

You are so close to goal I think it's still possible for you to reach goal; you have three days after the last injection and the HCG is still in your system..you should still lose as long as you're on VLCD. In the case you do not reach goal though youshould still be very proud of yourself, look how far you've come and the inches you have lost! You've done good!

Thanks to those posting wonderful recipes. The cocoa crack and tacos sound awesome! I am going to have to take some time to go over some P2 recipes. I am getting so bored of just chicken and cucumber - my easy go-to-meal.

Determined - it sounds like we have similar goals. After my LDW last round, I got down to 168, but put it back on. I am also hoping to get to mid 150s this round - and keep it off this time! Best of luck to both of us!
I believe we can do it! Let's stay strong, possitive, and keep our eyes on the goal! Good luck!

Cocoa Crack update...LOL. This morning I am up .4 I don't know if it was the cocoa crack or not but I won't try it again. Will wait until P3. When I read about it I thought it was safe for P2. It was good to me but trust me ...I can wait for P3.

I just ordered me some Stevia - Vanilla Creme drops??? Somebody please tell me if this is the right thing or not. LOL. I wasn't expecting it to say "Vanilla Creme"...just "Vanilla". I can't wait to try it. I haven't been using Stevia...I've used Truvia! I may switch to the stevia but its a bit expensive. Geez!

Keep up the great work everyone! We ROCK!!!!

    DETERMINED - congrats!

CUPID - thanks for being the cocoa crack guinea pig! I shall wait until P3 instead.

MOMOF2BOYS - I read your post - (yes I am drinking smooth move, but it just laughs at me). - I have been cracking up ever since! I am sure you will get over your stall soon!

I almost cheated, had the worst hunger, BUT what I did was throw out half of my chicken portion today because I didn't like the flavor, 2 hours later STARVING, is this the reason why?

Also, I gained .4 lbs today, could the chicken issue also be the cause?

    Have a great day everyone!

Good morning! I am only down .4 today, but I suspect it is because of lack of sleep. Woke up a couple of times last night and then my dog started barking at 5:30 in the morning. Sheesh! I am exhausted today. I hope after a good sleep tonight the whoosh fairy will visit.
