    I decided to wait one more day and worked on timing yesterday and making sure I got a good nights sleep. Thankfully I was blessed with a return of downward movement on the scales. I also stuck to strictly chicken breast since I know I have no problem losing on this food. I wouldn't have an apple day until you do what I call a very strict protocol day. I never realized how timing was affecting how well I did. I also tried to make sure I got most of the 3L of water down early in the day to give it time to make its way through my system.

    8:00 AM Green Tea (big mug) followed by a bottle of water
    10:30 AM Apple Bottle of Water
    12:30 PM Chicken Breast & Tomatoes 2 Bottles of Water
    6:00 PM Chicken Breast & Spinach Bottle of Water
    7 Hours sleep.
    Round 3 after Thanksgiving

    Down 0.2 this morning. That makes a total of 3.6 lbs for week 2. A little low, but with the wine cheat and TOM, I guess not too bad. I also did measurements yesterday - I am down a total of 14.5 " including 1.5" off my waist. Doing the Happy Dance for that!

    Congrats on your losses for week 2! We have the exact same weight loss for week 2 at this point. A whopping 3.6 lbs but I'll take it with TOM & my first stall. I've also learned a lot this week about this diet. Good luck for next week and increased losses!

    Good Morning...

    I'm down .6 this morning but waiting on doctor visit for my loss for the week. My weight loss has really slowed down. I'm assuming this is normal??? I sure hope it picks back up because if not it will take me FOREVER to lose 100 lbs! LOL.

    Congrats on the .6 loss! I think it does seem to be normal to slow down a bit. 21# in three weeks is great Cupid. You are having a great round in comparison to some. If you were to only average 6# a week in losses it would take you only 16 weeks on the protocol to lose the weight you want to lose. I keep reminding myself that I didn't get here overnight so I know I can't fix it overnight even if HCG is speeding up the process beyond the normal 1-2lbs you could expect with exercise and diet. You will get there!

    Are you doing a long round or a short round? If you were to continue doing long rounds you would reach your goal in under a year.

    I did one apple day in the course of my 43 days and was pleased with the results.......started moving down again......the weight loss does slow down but maintains the average of 0.5 lbs a day average (as grammy says)......you may also want to google the detox baths with hot water, baking soda and epsom salts.......I didn't get the miraculous results wt. wise that some have had but do think it does alter the course of the protocol in some way.

    I thank you so much for your reply. You really don't know how much I needed to hear that. We always wanna rush, rush, rush but like you said normally it would be 1 to 2 lbs per weeks. Why can't I just be satisfied with my 6lbs a week. LOL. Thanks again sooooo much

    Everyone slows down in week 2...it picks up again in week 3, but not as much as week one. Me personally? I usually lose about 6-8 pounds in week one (including load weight), then 3 pounds per week after that. Doesn't seem to matter if I'm on perfect protocol or a bit rogue. The losses are the same for me. Granted, I have less to lose than some, but even in my first round, the losses weren't stellar. Occassionally, I would lose 4 pounds in a week, but it was typically less than that. I think my biggest issue is that I didn't get fat by eating too much...or the wrong foods. My problem was that I didn't eat enough for long enough, that I was permanently in starvation mode. 700-800 cals a day every day....and I kept on gaining. When on P2, I usually feel like it's too much food. My P2 eating isn't much different than my pre-HCG eating. Anywho...have learned to eat more....but it's very hard for me. So busy...all the time...and forget to eat till dinner time. Ironically, I am more comfortable in P2 than any other phase...because I don't have to remember to eat.

    Skinny- be careful with chicken 2x per day. It says in P and I to have a different protein for the 2nd protein in a day. It says the vegies, protein, and fruit must not be the same in a given day. If you start to notice a slow down or stall you might look at changing it up. I noticed a lot of us stall on beef as well and read somewhere that beef should be 1 to 2 times per week and no more.

    as for me-I had my first day of being back on the VLCD yesterday, I am a bit hungry but not bad. I woke up to a .4 loss so hoping for more tomorrow. I don't have the crappy first week sick feeling since I only took a 1 week scheduled break and did not eat sugar or starch on p3 so I don't have to detox from it. I had asparagus last night that I had grilled on the BBQ but still had to choke it down. I don't really like the taste. I saw some recipes for salad dressings on this forum that I will try out so I can put something on my lettuce.

    I need some advice...
    My birthday is this weekend, so.... Friday means a drink out with some coworkers (they don't know I am dieting), Saturday is my Bday with family (they know I am watching what I eat but they don't know the seriousness if I cheat), and Sunday is Easter. Can you see my dilemma?!

    I think I'm ok with the drink out, I will just up the water for the day.

    Easter I am ok with too, I will just schedule my arrival after the meal.

    Saturday will be the hardest.

    Happy Birthday! My advice would be to drink vodka if you do have a drink and cut out a fruit to compensate for it. Then for dinner with the family, maybe just eat a bit of salad and the meat or stick with fruit??? I have dinner with friends this weekend so am wondering the same thing. I don't care if they know about the diet I just don't want to do a cheat. I might bring my salad dressing with me?? And if you do a cheat just be prepared for no loss for the next day and then move on.
