My husband & I decided to start today (Feb 28) as our first load day. I tried to eat a lot but found it challenging. Tomorrow (March 1) will be Load Day 2. I'm hoping to really load up well.

I started loading Feb 28 too, and our goal weight is the same as well. (I'll actually be thrilled at 135, but 130 would be wonderful and really end my need of any BP meds.) I tried to get DH to do it with me-- he wasn't up for it right now, so I'll be getting my buddy-ing from this forum too.

There are several groups starting up right now. I'll probably just post around until I settle in somewhere.

    Hi Everyone!

Loading today and tomorrow. Got to goal last summer, but gained most of my last round back. Boo! I cannot wait to get back to goal. I hope it only takes one round.

    Good luck!

    Hello Ladies!
Today is Day 1 of VLCD for me. I'm starting at 149 (after load weight) and my goal is 125 this round. I plan to go until I hit my goal. Hopefully not more than 40 days.
I'm doing sublingual drops same as I've used in the past.

I have had success in the past on HCG and unfortunately family stress and a lot of traveling last year coupled with eating and drinking have put me at probably my highest weight ever.
I'm 5'2 so 149 is not a happy weight for me.

I love to workout and so that's something I struggle with on HCG as I usually still try and workout at least some days...those days I'm always much hungrier and I do allow for extra protein and veggies typically.
I've had rounds where the weight loss was still amazing and others where it was not as stellar.
So I plan to take this day by day and just make the adjustments that my body needs.
I don't eat Melba or any gluten (except when I loaded 😳&#128553 so sometimes I will eat a tiny bit more protein or veggies.

I noticed that my most successful round was when I was on a different forum and posted my exact food and activity every day because it kept me much more accountable.
So I may end up doing that daily.
Just trying to get in the groove by starting this post today.
Looking forward to encouraging and buddying up with the other ladies here.
One thing I know for sure is that this works when you don't cheat and it's worth the sacrifices we have to make.

Hi everyone. I started loading on Saturday and Sunday but decided to load today, also. I have been dieting for the last several weeks so I feel as if I need a little more reserve. I am really not very hungry so it makes it hard to eat as much as I need to eat. I have 100 pounds to lose and being post-menopausal doesn't make the weight want to fall off!! I have done the injections several years ago through a clinic but am on my own this time. This forum has been a lot of help to me figuring out mixing and dosage. I am looking forward to giving and receiving the needed encouragement to make this journey a little more tolerable.

Hey, vern.... I'm on your same starting schedule, also post menopause, and this is my first time mixing myself too. How did you do? I was so nervous...I was sure I was going to drop the bottles, contaminate my needles or mess up on the math. I think I did ok in the end, and Day1VLC is going very well. Can't wait till tomorrow to drop this load weight!

You can do the 100 pound thing! In 5 rounds, I was down 70 pounds from my start, but had I not gained some inbetween each time, it would have been 100 pounds. This is hopefully my last and final to get to my normal weight goal.

SunshineOne and I are starting at the same weight. Lets see how we do!

    Hi Leez-
Thanks for the encouragement. I did fine mixing. I am doing this with a friend so I started with 10,000 for the 2 of us for a month. I am in the medical profession so I have experience with such things and I make my own e-juice for my electronic cigarette which is measuring precisely using syringes so I was good. I gained most of this weight in the past 5 years after I quit smoking. I kept saying "well, at least I don't smoke anymore." Now I have become so sedentary and somewhat withdrawn. I am truly too old to be this heavy and I really want to be more active. It is the pattern of lose - gain, lose - gain that I have to break because it is getting too hard to lose the weight.
