Thread: March 2018 Loaders - Time for action

@Leez: those mid-round gains can be so maddening, especially when you're close to a personal goal. Hopefully in a few days you'll get far away from that number and the good losses will continue.

@cupcake: Good on you for resolving to do a few more days! If you have the momentum might as well keep it going because it never gets any easier.

I was down 0.8 yesterday and nothing today, which brings my week one loss to around 5.5 if I go by my pre-load weight since I didn't weigh after loading. I was a bit worried about gain today because I went a little overboard on my dinner portion last night after discovering hcg 2.0 yesterday and skipping my usually lunchtime fruit. Not huge numbers lost for the week by any means, but even though its just a week this is the longest I've managed to stick with the diet in probably 2 years. I'm going to do at least another week and decide if I cycle off for a few days or make this a short round. I'd like to get in the 170s before going to p3 but 5-6 pounds seems like a big ask for week 2.

I've been pretty busy last week so haven't gotten to check in till today. My last hcg day was wed. Tomorrow morning looking forward to bulletproof coffee or just frothed half & half in my coffee, dont know which yet. Decisions decisions. I started out at 136.8 which includes my 1.6 loading. I was at 123.6 thurs morning. I did VLCD for 30 days. I cannot do it anymore. Just losing .2 everyday right now is excruciatingly slow. I will just do another round later. My pants fit better but I still have the belly fat. Just not as happy with how I ended up as I was my previous 2 rounds 8 years ago. Thought I would be closer to my goal weight. Maybe it's my age, I'm old.

13 pounds in 30 days is close to my losses in my last round, and the last week had 1 a total loss of .6, so I know exactly how you feel. But congrats on finishing strong and enjoy your P3 today!

The good part about having to do another round is that you get to practice maintenance one more time before you get to goal. I think that is an invaluable experience.

Leez, I like the way you think...getting another chance to practice...etc. Always upbeat. My last dose was wed night before bed so it will be Sunday morning for me. I'm good with that but you did make my heart skip a beat for a second. Lol I hope the end of this round for you is not like mine was or your other rounds.

I wish I was starting phase 3 tomorrow!!

Had a gain today after losing that .6 yesterday. I think it is from an exercise class where I lifted weights, at least I hope so. These last two-three pounds are not coming off easy but I definetly see the inches that have come off. That makes me happy.

Hoping for strength tomorrow as I am hosting dinner. Good luck to everyone!

The other most common reason for P2 gains is getting more salt during the day than you are used to. Those gains will resolve without any stressful interventions. Which is great. Because P2 is already challenging enough!

But our minds can play tricks on us because the scale shows a gain. It can be hard to wrap your mind around the real truth is that you are continuing to lose even though the scale says otherwise.

So hang in everyone, on those zero loss and even gain days. It all works out in the end.

I started my round on 3/25 and have been reading your March loaders forum for a couple days. I think I will join the April loaders since you all are so far along. But I really resonate with those of you who have had to keep coming back to this diet due to trouble maintaining, since that is me too!

Dawn, if you're still reading, sorry to see you go. You hung in there like a trooper with those dosing issues. Best of luck to you. And best wishes to the rest of you too! Now I'm off to read through the remaining nine days of March history...
