    March 2024 Loaders - Marchers

Welcome March loaders, this thread's for you!

Use it to connect with others, plan your round, ask questions, post concerns, get and give support, or just post for personal accountability.

I'll be around to provide input based on the original protocol, but there is support here for whatever form of HCG you are using. And hopefully, we will have input from some of our veteran members who are willing to share their wisdom.

OK, so the group name is not all that inspired, but it does have an encouragement. Marching implies a steady progress forward, so that's my hope for all who join in here.

    Good luck on your round!

I totally admire anyone that gets out and does things during P2. Hope you have a show that is worth getting up that early for!

My tendency is to want to curl up in a ball and concentrate what energy I have to self-care and personal projects during that time.

P4 is progressing uneventfully for me. One week completed after today. Still in my window.

Leez, once I get past the first 2 or three days, my energy level improves. I find getting out for a brisk walk, even if short, really helps my mental state, and distracts me from thoughts of food. Plus I think activity helps me burn the fat. When I'm able to walk again in normal shoes (not this ridiculous boot), I plan to do a round.

I actually feel like I have energy in P2....UNTIL I start to do something strenuous. Then I find I have no endurance.

I completely agree with you about getting out for a walk. I try to do a half hour walk as part of my everyday life, and continue that in P2. I need the sunshine for mental health especially in winter, and the pumping action of your calves keeps lymph flowing and helps get toxins out that have been released by fat burning. If I can't get out and walk, I bounce for a while on a rebounder. My first couple rounds, where I was still very metabolically ill , it took a gargantuan effort to do it, but I forced myself. My legs felt like they weighed a hundred pounds each. Kind of like that lactic acid muscle lock that can happen in a long run. About the time of the 3rd round, that had lessened greatly. And now I enjoy walking and feel energized by it.

I definitely encourage anyone in P2 to make the effort to get out an walk each day. The walking action is also great for keeping your guts moving, which is a big problem for many people in P2 because of the low residue in the sparse diet.

Yes, I've had P4's like that too...where you just want to eat all the things all the time. This time has been different. I've only added a few starchy items back and I seem to be content keeping them to a serving, and usually only at one meal per day. This is probably the first P4 that I haven't felt like I needed them. I'm just enjoying them. I dunno. That may change when I start making my sourdough rye again. It has been delayed a few days because I discovered my starter got moldy during the last 2 months. So I'm culturing a new one from dried starter I had squirred away a year or two ago for just such an occasion. Should be ready to bake in a couple more days. That bread, along with my morning coffee with cream are two things I want to be able to eat, so that will likely be my next test. Its been friendly in the past, so I'm not expecting anything different.

i’m switching back to hcg injections. i have about 10 frozen needles since last year so i thawed one. i’ve been almost one week on nasal. while i’m not hungry i have consistently lost 5-7 lbs on first week and this time it’s 2-3 lbs. my concern is that without enough hcg my body might be acting like low calorie starvation mode and slowed down my losses. i’m going to do this week with frozen needles and will see. since i didn’t use nasal spray since yesterday afternoon (skipped 5th dose) im hoping im good to go

Rose, you may be one who needs the higher dosage. My injectable dosage is so low (85 iu tops) that hhcg makes better sense for me. My best two rounds were 1st: 15 lbs hcg; most recent, 13 lbs, hhcg nasal spray. Good luck with your round!

i never had issues with real hcg dosage i just was lazy and had the nasal spray handy. i just didn’t see the normal 1st week losses with the nasal spray so im switching back to rx hcg so im not eating vlcd for nothing. my appetite is fine with nasal spray but fluid losses and weight a bit stagnant

Rose, when switching from homeopathic to injection, you should overlap the spray with the doses for the first 2 days of injections.

gz could be right about a higher dose possibly being better. hhcg dosing seems to start at a low end of dosing and they expect to to increase if you need to. But I understand wanting to go back to what you know works for you. That is the reason I've not tried doing a round with hhcg yet. I always ask myself, why do I want to choose something that might work for me over something I KNOW works for me. I haven't come up with a good enough reason yet.
