No, once you've drawn doses from the mixture, its impossible to be sure you are figuring dose correctly if you add in more water at that point.

I didn't even think of that. My next round, I will be sure to have the supplies to mix at a better ratio. These doses are so tiny! Thanks again, Leez!

Exactly! When you are dealing with such a small amount, its hard to be accurate, because some of that tiny amount is even left in the needle. Dr. Simeons mixed at a 1:4 ratio (so 5000iu to 20ml water) but even mixing 1:2 gives you better control.

P4 one week into this i am 140.2 4 lbs under liw ... yesterday had late lunch..Jamaican curry chicken wih cabbage peas and carrots in a starchynbrown sauce that had couple potatoes. I did not eat the potatoes but surely potatoes are what made the sauce so nice and thick. I had them hold the plantains and rice. I am not ready for that much starch in one meal yet. Happily no negative weight change except down. Still ended up eating 1300-1400 cal with that meal as I was not too hungry after.

Leez! Happy to report feeling GREAT on my new weird little dose! Was starving Sat/Sun/ Mon and had to eat extra veggies - which made me go up 1.6lbs - but it's ok. Feel dose is where it should be and hopefully the scale will move again. Thank you again!

I have to admit its been hard to keep equilibrium and my normal routine during this time as well. Because there is a very high risk person in our household, we've quarantined for the last two months. I think as more information comes out each day, its starting to feel like its possible to go out safely again. But I haven't ventured forth just yet.

I imagine there will be more people jumping in soon. So many people have been stress baking. ^_^

P4 141.2 3 lbs under LIW Yesterday got to 1540 cal .. most calories eaten in morning and early afternoon. Leez, you talked about stress baking... i wanted to try artisan bread but for three weeks all grocery stores out of yeast... thankfully... i get in trouble with grains, Interesting grain free vegan tortillas found at Walmart neighborhood store (made in Austin tx) They are almond flour and tapioca based... about 100 cal... nice heated and browned on iron skillet with white cheddar cheese

Right! So I moved the relevant posts to this May thread.

I've been making glutenfree sourdough, so thankfully no problems with procuring yeast. But wow, what a learning curve. Its taken me months to get a decent result, but I can finally make an acceptable artisan loaf. Glutenfree bread will never compare to the real thing, but at least as a sourdough, it is reminiscent.

Nice find on the wraps, although tapioca is starch (high glycemic carb) so something to allow for in your overall eating plan. I have used thin sliced jicama for wraps. I think you can even buy them sliced that way. They would not be for toasting like yours though.

You are right about tge tapioca so i only ate one. I did google and interesting recipe without tapioca and using egg and Xantgan instead. Might give it a try..i know the egg wont work for you tho but prob another option
