Honestly, just treat it as a tool, a metric that you use as an adjunct to the diet. If it bums you out, don't worry! You're not alone, we all have to learn to get over it.

Just want to chime in: I'm starting R2 and loaded yesterday and today. I've spent 3 weeks on P3 and back to it! My last round I didn't load at all and I was starving for the first week, so I'm making up for it. In fact, I suspect I'm way over doing the loading! How scary. Anyway, it's good information about how much I'm comfortable eating, I can barely get down what I would previously have been able to eat without a problem. In fact, I am feeling pretty uncomfortable and really sick due to all the carbs, sugar and fat my body is not used to processing. I'm looking forward to my next round which will be a 23 day shortie (my previous round was a 40 day-er with a long 'planned' break). I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm looking forward to the ease of p2. The hunger is no fun (mine got really bad at the end) but it's so easy to organize what and when to eat, and my body feels better without processing so much food (p3 felt like too much food because I was constantly trying to choke down protein). You know what else I love about P2? It's less expensive to eat! Even with organic chicken! Approximately 1 organic chicken breast a day costs 3 dollars, a few vegetables an apples are maybe another 3 dollars max. That's about $45 a week!

In the meantime, can't wait to start VLCD again tomorrow.

    Go Giants!!!

I'm with you emma. I'm on my 2nd loading day, and have not loaded enough, I'm sure. It's 7:40 p.m., and I have to get some food in--i just don't want to be starving tomorrow. I think hcg must affect your appetite by the 2nd loading day, plus this is my 2nd round, and honestly I just don't eat as mindlessly as I used to. That's a good thing, though, isn't it? Well, I will be in p2 tomorrow, so hope all on this thread will share their journey with me, I'll try and do the same.

I'm not sure. This is my second round, and I wondered that myself. Already loaded so a moot point, but my thinking is--when people overeat, or do some kind of cheating, everyone always tells them to drink lots of liquids the next day or two. Maybe drinking would help keep the load weight down a touch? I don't know really. It would be interesting to get someone who does know to respond.

Goal 2: Get into the 150's again (and will be finally be out of Obesity BMI range) the weight i was when i delivered my 3 year old
Goal 3: Get back to 142 which was my average weight for 10+ years

U are a stronger woman than me, I could hardly wait to weigh in each and every morning. Sometimes to my detriment, when I would freak out if scales went up, but luved it for inspiration, motivation, when the scale dipped for me. Any particular reason u are only weighing once a week? Good luck with losses this weekend.

Hey, I'd like to join in

I started my load days over Hallowen weekend, so today is VLCD12. I've lost 9 lbs (from load day, 7 from pre-load weight), according to the doctor's scale. I had a bit of a set back and we upped my dosage on Tuesday, finally started losing again. I was getting really frustrated. Happy to be back on track. This is my first time doing hcg diet but have a couple of friends who have done it, with great success.

Hey Greedo, I have twins too. The weight flew off breast-feeding them but now is back up. How old are yours? Are they boy/boy, girl/girl or boy/girl?

I've got to run. Pilates day today.
