    Hello all!

I made it through P2 (lost 18.8 - last 6 days I had stalled, but didn't cheat) and started P3 2 days ago. Yesterday I was up a little weight and today I was up again (a total of 2 pounds). I don't know what the issue is. I've been eating some of the same foods (grass-fed beef, chicken, tomatoes, cabbage, apples, oranges, small amount of cheese, coffee). No starches. No sugars. What am I missing??

Maybe you are sensitive to the dairy? Are you eating enough? At least 1800 cal? Oh and oranges are a no-no for P3, even though they were allowed on P2. Read this page: Phase 3 Information.

    Thanks for the link.

I saw a different doctor for my appointment to discuss how to move to the next phase and I wasn't thrilled with him. I asked about black beans (something I've been craving since starting this diet). He said "go ahead, try what ever you want...if it doesn't work you shouldn't eat it". When I mentioned it to the nurse she said "oh he is so bad, he knows that's not allowed". I feel a little in the dark now.

I haven't had dairy (although I miss it). I will stop eating the oranges (don't really care for them). I'm not sure how many calories I've been eating (doc said he had no clue how many I needed). I've been doubling the meat/veggies so far, but now I'm sort of afraid to eat so I don't gain anymore...lol. Grrr....

Diedra, you are doing fine. You just need to fine tune your foods a little for the first part of p3. Doubling your your protein is good, think about dropping one fruit (but not both) and try some new veggies, and start adding some fat. Coca crack is good for that or use bullet proof coffee, use the search engine at the top to find lots of recipes for those. I am just starting my 4th P3 and I know how hard it is to allow ourselves to eat after we have been on P2 for so long but we will gain if we don't get those calories up. Try one new food (like dairy or eggs etc.) for a day then wait a couple of days to see if you react to it before adding something new this helps you pin point what your body may be reacting too. You mentioned you stalled just before your round ended, if your dose was off then your body may want to replace some of the fat you lost at the end of the round and you may have to adjust your LIW up a little so you don't have to fight it all the time.

Hi everyone I hope you all had a wonderful holiday. Sorry I have been gone so long, it's an extremely busy time for me, and this year seemed to be CRAZY. I had a ton of orders to complete before the holiday and had zip for time, but I did continue with the HCG, I will be totally honest I did cheat a few times, but tried to keep it with in reason. I can say that for the most part I only had a gain once.
I am down 20 pounds! And have finished this round. I would like to do another to reach my goal, but I need to read up on when I can do that .

I can tell you I tried the sugar free mints and candy, when I was stresses and busy.. I had no gain and it did not cause any cravings for me. I'm going to go back and read the thread to see what I have missed!
Anyone have any suggestion for maintenance for me?
