    HI Leez,

Thank you for your reply. IN terms of my dose, I take hHCG pellets, 2 pellets 3 times a day.Grammy adjusted my dose a several rounds ago and this is a dose I have used in the past. I have not had any hunger issues. I started to not be hungry on P2D1. In fact, I am not hungry at all, except I just notice it is time to eat at 1:00PM but otherwise I have to make myself eat the 500 calories.

I did not count the gain from my load. Here are my stats:

Load Day 1: 161.8 lbs.(before loading, the morning I started loading)
    Load Day 2: 163.0
    P2D1: 162.2
    P2D2: 159.6
    P2D3: 158.6
    P2D4: 157.8
    P2D5: 157.4

Should I reload? I loaded with cheese, Ice cream, avocados, Prime steak, nothing unusual, big wedding dinner on Load day 1.

I am so disappointed and not sure what to do.

As for the stepping, I just walk when I am on the phone, folding laundry etc., so it would be a push to call it a work out, there is no sweating involved ha ha but I thought walking is recommended during P2.

Thanks for your input. I will be checking this weekend if you think of what I should do.

    Best,
    RK

Ok, so according to the way we count, you have lost about 5 pounds, not .4. That is not that out of the norm, although not spectacular for the first week. No need to start over. Just continue on. It sounds like your dose is fine. There can be different loss patterns round to round, but you generally will get about the same overall result at the end.

Hi RK - I just wanted to chime in to say, not including loading, you've lost 4.4 pounds in 5 days. That's almost a pound a day! That's fantastic! I'm on D13 and have lost a grand total of 4.5, so you're well ahead of the curve from my viewpoint! Oh, I'm also using the hhcg pellets this time and have stuck with the 3 pellets 3 times per day. What prompted you do go down to 2 pellets?

What a great idea about walking/stepping while you are doing c****s. I have a desk job and do a lot of sitting (obviously). Last year when I first started this journey, I decided that I would move my stapler from my desk to across the room. Now, every time I need to staple stuff together, I have to get out of my chair (I usually have stuff in my hands, so try not to use the arms), walk across the room, staple them, rinse and repeat. At least I'm getting out of my chair 20 - 30 times a day and getting a few steps in. Every little thing helps!

Just my two cents... Have a great weekend!

    Hi,

Leez, I just meant that I lost only .4 pounds today. Usually I post some big losses every day on the first week, thus the sad face. But I will move forward...

LinderLou, I had hunger issues so that's why after skipping 2 doses to check I dropped my dose. I tend to be a light weight with a lot of medicines. I have a step counter on my phone, nothing fancy, and I just walk in place or pace while on the phone, etc. It helps me to get to 10,000 steps a day. Thanks and good luck!

You're right, I misread that loss report.

But still, 5 days, 5 pounds is not too shabby. My usual for the first full 7 days of VLC is between 6-8 pounds. I always hope for 11-12, but I never have gotten it.

    Thanks Leez,

I really appreciate your wise feedback. I also keep hoping for the big first week loss! Nice to know I am not alone! I will keep facing forward and hope for a great overall loss by the end of the round! Thank you again and have a great weekend!

    Hello rkthin,

What might be different this round? Is your HCG from the same source as previous rounds? Does it have additives? Are you getting B12 or lipo shots?

For rounds 2 on, I used HCG injections w/o additives from DietDoc, and found my dosage had to be 85 iu to lose.

In my first round (doctor - supervised), I'm not sure what they gave me, but the dosage increased through the round, and I got weekly B12 / lipo shots.

Amy and Mrs looking forward to hearing from you. Great that you are doing it with your hubby. Mine is quite the distraction.

AFM: Day 4 and I am down another pound. Gosh I love week one. Upcoming challenge is Gourmet dinner group on Saturday... But I will just drink water...stick to veggies!

    Have a great day!
Thanks! This is my 3rd round I believe. The first was a long time ago and I did it while cooking for my husband and 3 kids. Second time not so successful and not sure why. I am on VLCD5 along with my husband and this has been by far the easiest. We both prep food, no extra meals to be cooked (reducing the temptation) since my boys are adults and dghtr is a teenager and more self sufficient. I hope the dinner group went well Saturday!

Jumping in. I was doing OK on my last round, but then caved, and never really got back on the wagon. Here I am almost 20 pounds above my lowest in that round with load weight from day 1 of loading and will finish loading today. Made bacon this morning, have ripe avocados and good cheese. I made a Costco run yesterday, so I am ready to get this round started. Need to look at my previous posts to see what I should call this round. Can't think right now... I will post my stats tomorrow, when loading is done. Oh, and I will be cooking for hubby and family during the round......urgh!

Hi Roni - sorry you had a failed round, but good for you for getting right back in there! I'm currently doing a round that should wrap up by the end of November, so I will be here cheering you on! Happy loading! (I am so missing my avocados, so have one for me!)

Thanks, LinderLou; Don't mind if I do! Yum!! I had to buy a mixed bag at Costco...3 perfect and 2 past good...1 was moldy already so I set it aside to either return with the 2 almost baaaad if I am near there soon (you know what it's like living in these foothills; too far from the stores!). Loading has been delicious this round. I haven't hit "saturated" yet... Getting rid of my too big clothes was a good idea, because once I gained enough back, I have NOTHING left to wear... especially with the change of seasons. I am hoping to get the first 20 off fast, and then another 10+ after that. We'll see...

I still work 2-3 days per week and can't access the forum from work, so I will be around more on some days than others, but I need support to get back on track. I tried to restart a few times, but never had the food prepped and my mind in gear at the same time. This time I am ready on both fronts and will succeed. Oh, if only I could empty the house of all the other food! Life would be so easy with fewer choices, but then again, everything I put into my body IS my choice. I just have to remind myself to make conscious choices and when I want to make a "bad" choice, to think about my long term goals. I am posting a pictures of dominoes falling, as the visual helps me remember the consequences of going off protocol...I want my dominoes to keep falling, and to not let anything interrupt the flow!

Looking forward to being in the same phase with you for part of a round! Thanks for your support!!
