I found my first week that a small loss was followed by a good woosh so I am hopeful that happens for you. I would love to stay at 138, so I was thinking of actually going to 136 to give myself a cushion. I usually do a Planned Interruption each round. I think it helps with losses, but the danger is you really need to give yourself a pep talk to go back to POP after an interruption. I also only use hHCG pellets from Intermountain, so no immunity. The last 5 pounds are very stubborn!

Not hungry at all today but really enjoying a good cup of tea. Have a wonderful day!

    Good morning! Happy Friday!

Down 1.8 this morning to 140.2! Very excited! Had chicken yesterday instead of beef. Sauteed it in chicken broth with plenty of garlic powder. Then I rinsed the pan and sauteed mushrooms with the same. Yum, yum. All that cooking actually filled me up, so by dinner time, I really wasn't hungry (well, I haven't been hungry for a week now), and only ate about 3oz.

RK, I thought about doing a PI because I was dreaming about avocados and artichokes with mayonnaise last night. So far, I'm on the "push on through" plan since I've got good momentum going right now. Once things slow down - and I know they will, unfortunately - we'll see how I feel at that point. I'm not sure if I would have the strength to get back on the horse after a few days off. Hope you're able to get goal and the extra two lbs of cushion as well.

Have a great Friday and weekend everyone!

    Happy Saturday!

So, only down 0.1 today, but still DOWN! I didn't get in enough water yesterday. I know it. I'm usually up 3 or 4 times during the night and last night, only once. That's the way it goes. Will be counting the water today and hoping for a better number tomorrow.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Good morning all! Sooooo, I messed up yesterday. Live and learn... We were out shopping the thrift stores most of the afternoon and DH suggests Chinese Buffet for dinner. I said no, how about Subway? Thought I would be safe with the meatball sandwich, no cheese and don't eat the bread. Well, no... As I was eating, the sauce tasted really sweet, and the meatballs tasted, well, mealy. Only ate 3 small meatballs and then had strawberries for dessert. Looked up the nutrition this morning and it's hard to tell because they include the bread in the breakdown, but I'm sure I had way too many carbs in that meal. The meatballs have bread mixed in them and I'm pretty sure the sauce has sugar in it. Lesson learned. I was UP 0.7 this morning, but at least I know why and know that it will come back off if I behave myself. No more winging it for sure ;-)

Yes, sounds like it didn't work out too well. The chinese buffet might have been an ok choice if you can order from a menu. Most places will do a protein and veggie that is steamed in a bamboo steamer. You can then concoct a serviceable sauce with chili paste, lemon and salt and pepper.

This Chinese place doesn't really offer things that don't have a sauce of some kind. I've done the meatball thing before, but it was well into P4 and I usually have lots of cheese along with it to offset the carbs ;-) In hindsight they also offer a chicken salad that is pretty much P2 if you don't use their dressing...

Good news is that I was really good yesterday and rewarded with 0.8 drop today into the 130s! Yay! I feel like I am back on track!

The plan for this week is to be super POP Mon - Weds, navigate a restaurant menu on Thursday and make sure DH eats most of the doggie bag items afterward. They have a 10 oz prime rib on the menu & fresh vegetable medley. So, I plan to have a salad with dressing on the side, about 1/3 of the leanest portion of the meat, and depending on how the vegs are prepared, eat the POP ones. If they're drowned in sauce, they'll go in the doggie bag for DH and I may just have a bit more meat. Our reservation is for noon, so I'll have the rest of the day to go home and eat my self-prepared P2 foods.

Happy Monday of a short week! Hope everyone is hanging tough!

    Good Morning,

LinderLou that is great that you had such a nice drop! Chinese food is very difficult, they do not like to share what they put in it! I decided to do a Planned Interruption for the big family wedding weekend last weekend and Thanksgiving. I am doing all the holiday cooking and dealing with some super annoying relatives... I just needed to be off the Diet to have the stamina to get everything done, and keep my cool too. I have been very careful. I have not gained any weight. I just don't have the stamina on the diet to get everything done. I got lucky in that the desserts at the wedding everyone said were not good. They looked beautiful so that worked out well for me!!!

It is easier to stay strong on the diet than in a Planned Interruption, but I am not going to backslide. I promise myself I can always eat the fun foods as on occasional treat once I reach my goal weight! I actually have started a list of the things I want to have in my phone. It helps the cravings pass.

Have a great day and LinderLou keep up the great work!
    Best Wishes,
    RK

    Hi Leez and LinderLou,

Leez: A big question: It will be a week on a PI. Do you think I need to do a Load day? If so I could do it Thanksgiving. Like LinderLou, once the pellets hit I am not that hungry, so maybe that is a good idea???

Please let me know your best advice. Thank you so much for your help!

    Best Wishes,
    RK

Sorry I haven't been keeping up. This is a busy time of year. I just ran into my old Weight Watchers books from 2001 and I think one is from 1999. Wanted to share them with you for nostalgia purposes. I'm certain many of us have been down the WW road. I'm feeling super grateful for the HCG protocol! And most of all having to ability to do the journey with y'all!! No more counting points and going to formal meetings. Also...meeting your ultimate weight goal through HCG

Hope everyone is doing well! Have a great Thanksgiving {{HUGS}} November 2019 Loaders - Never SurrenderNovember 2019 Loaders - Never Surrender

JessieB. Interesting nostalgia! I never did WW, but some neighbors did. Their menus were always too carby for me, even way back then... I did do Atkins for 2 years and weekly weigh-ins. Kept the records on my computer and ran across them about a year ago. I remember Christy and I were trading notes about it and commenting that over the course of 2 years and 7 months I lost a grand total of 22lbs. That meant I was dieting every.single.day for 29 months! I think Christy's results were about the same! I threw in the towel on that program and decided just to live life. That was in 2003. SO GRATEFUL I found hcg in 2017! Now I've lost 46 lbs in about the same amount of time! Wow!

RK - probably smart of you to do a PI for Thanksgiving! If we had to deal with a bunch of family like that, I'd probably do the same. Since we're only limiting the feast to one meal, and early in the day, I think I will be OK.

AFM: Same weight today. Not sure why. I ate totally POP yesterday and got all of my water in. Could just be the water hanging on since I've had a drop almost every day (unusual for me). I'll take it and just hang in there.

I know what you mean about the "fun foods". I have to adopt that same mindset and then it just doesn't seem worth it. If I REALLY want to taste something, I'll just have one bite of DH's portion and that satisfies the craving.

Stay strong over the holiday and I hope some of the relatives pitch in to help. They're calling for snow here from this afternoon through early Friday morning. Planning to stay close to home, so we should be OK. Stay warm!

P2D11: Same again today. Probably due to not much activity in the bathroom department. TMI. Last week things were still moving along at a normal rate, so that could be the difference.

Rain here, but they're calling for snow down to 1000 feet this evening. As long as we keep getting rain too, it won't stick around.

Have a lovely Thanksgiving Eve everyone!
