Hope everyone has a peaceful and joyful thankgiving day. I remember going through my first food holiday while on the protocol and marveling that I was able to enjoy the day without the food focus. I could be just as happy and grateful without all the traditional "goodies". It was a revelation.

    Happy Thanksgiving all you Lovelies!

The scale finally moved this morning. Down 0.8 and totally motivated to stay with it through the day and the rest of my round. Today is "only one meal"!

    Happy Black Friday all!

Well, I managed to get through yesterday according to plan. Vegetables served with dinner were steamed, so all good. Unfortunately, most of them were carrots, so I just ate the non-carrot ones. I was full enough from the noon-dinner to not even be tempted to eat anything later in the day. I did treat myself to one glass of wine - reasoned that I didn't have any fruit, so it should be OK.

Well, this morning a Drop of almost a pound. 0.9 to be exact. Very happy to see that number! Today and the rest of the weekend should be pretty simple, just back to regular P2 eating that is under my control ;-)

Hope everyone made it through the holiday OK and enjoyed time with friends and family - AND stay warm!

That was a great little gift the scale gave you today. Happy for you.

I was perfect yesterday, but probably didn't drink enough water since it was so cold. UP 0.2 this morning, but I'm OK with that. I know that TESS will continue her decline tomorrow or the next day. Trust the protocol!

I'm really noticing a change in my belly area. Still have some jiggly fat there, but much less than a couple of weeks ago. It's hard to tell overall that I'm thinner since it's the time of year to wear layers and layers. All my really warm sweatshirts are XL!

Cold is why I try to avoid doing rounds in the winter. Its just so hard to stay warm! Hope you manage better than I do.

The winter has moved in here in the midwest as well. Always a sad time of year for me. I have an adversarial relationship with winter. brrrrrr........
