    November 2021 Loaders - Faith & Change

Welcome November loaders, this thread is for you!

This is the Faith & Change group. We are starting our HCG rounds, armed with the faith that if we stay true for the specified days that a big change will happen. Not just on the scale, but in our eating patterns going forward, our outlook on our ability to accomplish a goal, and not least of all--a new sillouette in clothes that fit.

Use this topic however you need to get you through. Share planning, concerns, ask questions, get and give support or just post for accountability. We are all here for each other.

I will be around to address any concerns or questions, and my input will always be based on the original protocol.

Occasionally the loaders group will be joined by veteran HCG'ers and there will be extra wisdom to be had from your fellow round members. We also welcome veterans to contribute their experiences in response to what happens in this thread.

The fact that you are joining the thread means you have the faith you can make positive change in your life. Good luck on your round!

This is kind of light participation time as we enter holiday season, and the forums slow down considerably. But I think this might be the first time in like ever, that we haven't had any postings on the loader thread this far into the month. Maybe that means we are all doing so well maintaining that new rounds are not needed.

Or could it be that folks can't get their hands on hcg as easyily now, or they will be waiting til January to start a new round?

I'm not sure Leez, or sdwis, but thought I'd post just to check in. I'm not loading, have been on P4 for a while now. Plan to do a round prob after first of year. Have been out of town off and on through out the fall, going to football games, and going to Virginia to watch grandkids for my daughter and son-in-law. got back Sunday from Atlanta, whoa--such a big city, so much traffic, no way would I want to live in such a HUGE city, though we had a wonderful long weekend there with family and friends. Prefer my smaller, big town. Hope all hcgers are doing ok. I think a lot of people are planning on a round in January and are busy now with holidays. Not sure how their maintenance is going. Mine was going really well. Trip this weekend kinda threw caution to the wind, absolutely no regard to carbs and sugars, had pastas and sweets, so found myself weighing in today over last dose weight at 155--but still not a full 2 lbs over, that would be 155.6, so don't require a steak day, is that right? Last dose weight was 153.6, so steak would be required per protocol at 155.6. Will definitely do high protein most of this week. Hope that gets me down a few pounds. Holiday season is difficult. This is Thanksgiving week but We did our Thanksgiving early with family in Atlanta, so Thursday, won't be a huge meal for hubby and me. It will be pretty low key for us. Christmas will be the out of town event for us. Maybre others will find time to check in briefly soon. Pearly Mae did check in with a few receipes on one thread , she seems to be doing ok. Hope both you ladies are doing well and have a great holiday season!

Glad you got to have good times with family. I agree with you on Atlanta. Likely the worst traffic situation in the nation, aside from the rest of its issues. I did not enjoy Atlanta as a city when I visited. You go for the people.

Sounds like you have stabilized really well, and have found ways to keep control. That is key to maintenance. Knowing when and how much to pull back after some indulgences.

Almost correct. Steak day would be required if you go over 155.6

Hi, good morning. I haven’t posted in quite a while, but wanted to check in after making it through the big Thanksgiving feast. I made lots of keto and no sugar dishes, including two pies, for Thanksgiving. And really thought that I would be struggling right now. But I’m within 2 pounds of my LIW, and feeling pretty good for the end of a big holiday weekend!

My plan is to stay within 2 pounds of LIW on P3 through the holidays, and start my next round of hCG, already procured from my local clinic, on January 3.

I need to start an exercise program, as I know building muscle will help me long-term with stabilizing my weight. However, I really don’t like to bounce or to sweat. And swimming is very inconvenient this time of year. Any suggestions for things gentle exercise that worked for other people?

    Thank you!

Congrats on your stabilization success through the holiday. That is no small thing.

As for an exercise program, the only thing I've been able to stick with is a walking regimen. I do 25-30 min brisk walk most days, unless its bitterly cold or rainy, and and have actually come to want to do it. When I first started during my first HCG round it was through sheer will power and not very fast because I was in such bad shape. It did not feel good, I was not energized. But I made myself do it and and gradually started to enjoy it. Now I feel deprived if I don't get my walk in for the day. ^_^

It must be effective enough, because I've been at goal for most of 7 years now. It has not really built muscle but has preserved it. And it's weight bearing, so its good for your bone health.
