The lowest I've ever gotten with hcg is about 164. Now I'm 264! I can hardly believe it still it's time to take back control and get back into shape.

Today is VLCD1 and I'm actually very excited to eat my favorite p2 foods again. Sticking to chicken and fish for protein and my fave veggies. I'm looking forward to seeing lower numbers on the scale!

Have a good day everyone! Happy losing and stabilizing!
Good for you for starting now, Natalie. You won't regret it, but you might regret waiting! Where are you traveling to in Dec?

Thank you, Leez! I feel like I have a strong mindset this round and prepared with good loading foods. Will be watching my hunger levels since in the past I've had to adjust hhcg drops to a lower amount but once I have the right dosage, I do pretty well! Glad to be here and good to see you <3

Thanks, Nicole! My thoughts exactly! I'd rather take a planned interruption in December than wait till after the holidays. I'm going to Orlando with my older son to go to the beach and have some fun!

    VLCD2: -2.2

Down is DOWN! I'll take it. I feel less bloated that's for sure. Hcg restless nights are here, hopefully sleep will normalize soon. Going to the bathroom A LOT - good sign! Not hungry so that's another plus. Hopefully tomorrow I'll see the 250s, then 240s, etc etc etc.

    Have a good day everyone!

Sounds like you are going to have great week 1 losses, Natalie.

Getting rid of the bloat is such a relief. Happy for you!

Hope you're having a great day! Down is definitely down!

I haven't weighed in two days because I was out of town. I won't get to weigh until Friday, but I haven't strayed at all, so I expect a loss, too!
    Blessings,
    Nicole

    Good morning everyone!

VLCD4 here and overall I'm down 6 lbs! Feeling pretty good other than I have insomnia (which is normal for hhcg). I tossed and turned Tuesday night and probably got an hour or two of sleep and last night I took 10 mg melatonin (with valerian root, gaba, chamomile) and slept like a baby. Sleep is so huge to get good losses so I'm grateful.

It would be AMAZING to lose 10 lbs in the first week which is what I normally will lose. I have stayed OP except for an occasional La Croix. My go tos for meals are tilapia and tomato chili (SOOO GOOD) and garlic citris chicken with diced, seasoned cucumbers and a splash red wine vinegar. Thank you Trader Joe's for your amazing spices! I have other veggies i will incorporate when I get sick of my regular menu lol but I love the feeling of eating clean and the food (with proper seasoning) just tastes sooo damn good!

A month ago I thought I was okay being obese and hermity for the long term but now that I have my mind in the right place and making progress, I see a light at the end of the tunnel. I became severely depressed after my father passed away from covid last fall, started drinking a lot, eating a lot, etc. A couple months ago I started up counseling and taking prozac to help me cause I just realized I couldn't keep on the way I was - so painful! I am starting to feel better, look better, etc. and now my meds are actually working because I'm not drinking any alcohol at all and that's HUGE for me.

I got really real there and my grammar sucks but it helps to have this outlet to share. When harmful habits tied to overeating and alcohol are faced head on, although it's uncomfortable, there is a sense of relief knowing that those behaviors are addressed rather than being ignored.
Thank you for letting me ramble!

Hope you all have a lovely day! Happy losing and stabilizing!

Wonderful, Natalie! Did I mention that's my daughter's name? I love it.

Is LaCroix off protocol? I would think it would be fine...?

Keep at it. Mindset is everything!

As for me, I got home midday today and decided to jump on the scale even though it wasn't first thing in the morning. After 5 full VLCDs, I'm down 13.4! This has been my best round for week one. I know it will slow, but it's still exciting!
    Blessings,
    Nicole

P4 checking in. 143 so exactly at 2 lbs over liw. Got back from two week trip so while not thrilled to be up I made myself weigh at least once a week to face reality. So very very happy to see you back Natalie. Yes a good mindset is so important to success of this. But after first week or two it certainly gets easier. I do hate the restlessness at night but it usually becomes more manageable after a cpl weeks for me . Sorry not reading all the past posts. My 95 yo MIL keeps us on our toes. She is a handful. I need to pray daily to get thru the challenges.

Keep up the good work you all. I might start another round end of Feb so I can celebrate my 80th birthday (I cannot even believe it) being in the 130s. Meanwhile I have 3 mos to try to keep within my boundaries till that time comes.

I will check in again next week if not sooner. Glad to see the forum getting some posts.
