Kudos to y'all that were in p2 on Thanksgiving...I agree, it can be hard even in p3. With hygiene products, I use most of the same stuff except I do use Ivory soap, Vaseline for chapstick, Crystal deodorant, and skip my usual lotion.

So up over the holidays. Cooked my very rich Mac and cheese and made extra for home. Not a wise decision since I was the only one eating the extra. Scale wanted to be avoided but i but the bullet. Up sbout 4-1/2 lbs over LIW. Hoping some of that will come off the next week or two before I start holiday baking. Started to do a short round starting Thanksgiving but wasn’t sure I was committed so gonna try to cut back bect few days snd see where I end up at the end of this week. If I can drop 3 lbs in the next week I might just be more careful in amt of food I am eating. I do better when I write down everything going into my mouth so I have a general idea how much I’m eating. When I eat. Jean I don’t do it too much but essential at the moment.

Rose, I hope you shake off that T-day gain! I ate too much carbs, but went zero carb for a couple of days and seem to have knocked the inflammation back down. I woke up Friday with a cold, but it's finally going away.
Well little by little going back down. 144 today so 3 lbs over LIW. If I drop another lb or two I will be in that 2 lb range. I can’t do a steak day. Just cutting back on carbs is a big help. Plus lots and lots of sodium in that cheese mixture. Had I not stepped on that scale I might have procrastinated but it was a loud wake up alarm. Hope u feel better.

Hi everyone! It's been a while since I've checked in. Today is VLCD 16 and I'm down 12.8 lbs! TOM is here and I still had a 1.2 whoosh this morning. I'm very pleased! I've stayed pretty much on protocol and plan to keep going up until next Monday when I'm taking a PI to go to Florida for 5 days. Will continue when I get back. I'd like to not be on hcg during Christmas so I'm going to try to squeeze in another 10 days after Florida trip then go into P3. I thought about cycling but that's never worked for me stabilization wise.
