    I haven't made any P3 safe Thanksgiving dishes. I am going to my in-laws and I am just gonna carefully pick and choose what I can eat and skip all the carb stuff....that doesn't leave much. I just hope my mother-in-law doesn't use bottled dressing on her salad because those likely will have sugar in it and I was hoping for at least some turkey and a salad. Today I made 2 pumpkin pies, 1 apple pie and 1 huge pumpkin bread pudding and I won't be able to eat any of it!

    BTW, I had my BAB today and again I wasn't hungry for lunch. Of course it helped that I was getting my hair done and I was so buy baking, but I finally had some chicken wings for dinner and that was pretty much it. I'm finding it hard to get in very many calories. I think after having a glass of wine and an orange I only came in around 1100 today .

    Same here, I've only eaten more than 1000 cal twice over the last week. And even then I had to force myself to have a second meal ! Oh well, as long as we're not losing weight I guess it can't do any harm. It'll be great when I can have a slice of low carb toast with it tho!

    I'm still hovering neatly around my LDW, .1 over / .1 under. Today I add the cheese and nuts, going out to get some shortly. I'm actually amazed that I'm so steady, I already had 2 steakdays worth of meat in the freezer, haven't needed it yet tho. Made some coconut muffins last week, I'll try them again with 1/2 almondmeal this week. I'm grateful for my low-carb experience now, it's not such a puzzle what I can or can't have. I can imagine it's hard for someone who's new to it. Like a whole different diet after the VLCD!

    Next week I'll try the low-carb pasta and bread, which I think I'll just keep using untill I start up again in January. Starch is my biggest problem. I do like sweets but at the same time, I can do without them also. It's bread and pasta and rice that I stuff myself with (along with all the fatty stuff that goes with it of course ).

    No cheese, but I did dip into the nut bowl and picked out the cashews!! And I think I drank a whole bottle of wine . Time for nigh night time .

    For Thanksgiving I did have a spoon full of stuffing, creamed peas and cranberries along with my 6-7 oz of turkey and salad. For some reason I feel like I cheated today...can't wait to see what the scale says tomorrows.

    LOL Isabella, this is sooo erie!!!

    Added cheese and nuts yesterday, had some with my wine and added to my salad as a protein. Dropped .4 this morning so all seems to be well in the land of Dutch Cheese! Sure wouldn't mind a slice of bread and butter to stick under it, but that's gonna have to wait until next week. I've already ordered mix to bake my own low carb bread which is only 0.6 carbs per slice!. Only ordered one packet cause I'm having serious doubts about the taste with so little carbs. Finally found a place to order Carbquick here in Holland too. Looking forward to whipping up some goodies (I could say for Christmas, but I doubt it will wait that long ) I paid € 15 for 3 pounds, so it better be worth it!

    I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, by the silence on this board I fear most of you have splurged and dropped into bed crying your eyes out. Ah what the heck, only Thanksgiving once a year

    Not me, I'm workin

    I did VERY well today (yesterday I mean, I loose track of my days). Turkey, ham, salad, mixed greens, califlower!!, celery (boring but so used to it now), a couple of teaspoon size pieces of cocoa crack, cream in coffee, real lotion on fee.!! NO starch, no stuffing, no sugar!! No punkin pie! Well worth it! Family members said I'm shrinking and look vibrant. I do feel great, life is good!

    I'm really worried tho...my 1st P3 day (still vlcd) I was the same weight (LDW), my 2nd P3 day (still vlcd) I gained 0.2#. So after the increased meats and fats and mixing veggies today, I'm worried what I will see on the scale. Not sure what I can take BACK? Califlower? I guess I won't fret till I see the scale. I don't mind if I stay the same, but I might be crushed if I see it go up. I didn't even have bacon and eggs this AM cause I remembered my last hhcg drop was Tues at 2pm, so I waited to eat more till 2pm on Thurs, lol.

    Ah well, we'll see what happens. Great Thanksgiving tho!!

    Are you sure you didn't knock back a bottle of wine?? Correct met if I'm wrong, but isn't today friday??

    Sounds like you did just great!
    Don't fret if it goes up a couple of ounces, you cannot expect to stay the exact same weight every day. Just keep the 2-lbs-limit in mind. And believe me, after you've had 2 or 3 eggs and bacon in the morning, you won't be hungry all day. I have to remind myself to have my 2nd meal, forget about the 3rd LOL. Also an increased intake of food means you also have more 'trash in the can', that's to be expected.

    You have a fantastic result with 22 lbs! Your resolve got you this far and it will get you to where you want to be. Don't worry, take it step by step. I added all sorts of meat and vegetables in the first week and since yesterday added dairy and nuts. Next week I'll try out low carb bread and pasta. Easy does it.

    Yeah, it is friday but I been up for 24 hours now and did dinner yesterday then straight to work overnight so I lose all kinds of track of my days. NOW...try THAT on P2...I had to plan meals and drops in correct intervals will my weirded out schedule, LOL.
    I get up weigh and eat breakfast at 3pm today then back to work

    Ok, I've been reading some P3 threads and calmed down a little...seems my fears are pretty common, lol. NO p3 **** for me yet...gimme a coupla days! lol. I did get some Fage that I will try out LATE tonite for dinner

    Thanks so much for the encouragement. This whole thread has been such a help to a newbie

    OMG, that's quite some schedule! I know I'd have to plan and write everything down ahead of time on P2, and set my alarm multple times a day :O . P3 should be easier on you then, no set times for anything.

    Yes, this board has been a great help (and still is) but I'm actually only 1 week ahead of you, entered my 2nd week of P3 yesterday. So I have meanwhile gotten over the dread of the scales in the AM

    Wow Michelle, you DO have a rough schedule! Can't wait to hear how your weigh-in goes! I did go up my first couple days of eating P3 but it went right back down after my body adjusted to it. I still seem to go up a little one day, down a little the next day but so far nothing too extreme. Kind just depends on when the trash man comes. And Guinin is right, you won't even think about eating after you've had bacon or steak and eggs for breakfast. Who knew? I used to avoid breakfast because it would often just make me hungry for lunch even sooner, but then again, I was eating carbs for breakfast...cereal, muffin, oatmeal, toast, etc.

    Guinin, what is the name of the bread mix you got? That sounds like something worth trying.

    So I was up 1 pound over my LDW today (my highest gain yet), not surprised, lots of calories in whole bottle of wine . But maybe it's just the bulk of food I ate yesterday. I didn't really over eat THAT much, didn't have that usual stuffed Thanksgiving feeling. But that huge big bite of stuffing does weigh a lot...and peas are heavier...but oh so yummy. I don't really know if that little handful of nuts could be a problem, so I think I'll have to try some more today...just to be sure .
