    Today is VLCD2 for me. I gained 1 pound in my my loading last weekend (strange, considering cheesecake and carrot cake and wine and pizza), and I lost that pound plus one more when I weighed this morning. Yay! My husband bought a Keurig coffee maker with lots of yummy herbal tea options for me so I can have tea as a treat in the evening, and that helped me stick with plan last night.

    Good Morning Everyone!! Happy Tuesday! I see we are all on the same page as many of us are just coming into our VLCD days. Yippeeee...no more loading, gaining weight, pants being too tight, etc...we are on to great losses here

    Egl123 - So lucky you only gained 1 lbs...I gained over 5 and can't wait to release them all! Enjoy your Keurig...they have such great flavored teas!!!

    Jules22 - You made me giggle. I too didn't put my ticker up after my 5 lb gain loading. I started yesterday after my loading at 171.2 and finally dropped my first 2lbs. Let's watch that scale go down together

    Ihavehope - 3lbs - Wow that's terrific!!! Keep it up!

    Glambert1481 - 2.5lb loss is amazing!!! Let's do this!

    FKDD - 3.2lbs loss is incredible! We are on our way!

    beSkinnybride - I too did the Atkins induction for my P3 and stabilized really well. It was so easy for me as it the food was clean and similar to my way of eating coming off of P2 and then adding in the healthy fats. Great job on your losses so far!

    mom212345 - Welcome! When it comes to eggs, be careful as many of us have an issue with them. I tried eating egg whites one round and didn't lose as efficiently. NF mayo also has chemicals in it and the less chemicals and cleaner you eat in P2 the better your losses. Those toxins can really derail us. Mustard is great, especially if you want to add the spicy deli mustard for flavor to anything. I have found that if it isn't natural then it could have some preservatives, chemicals, etc. and can cause us to retain water (let's face it we are drinking a lot of H2O!).


    What did everyone eat today for lunch????? If we post some of our meals we also give others ideas of what to eat and stay on protocol

    Hi! I was very happy to see a 4.3 pound release this morning. I lost exactly what I put on during my load days. So, from here on out I get to celebrate brand new lower numbers on the scale. I'm feeling really good and can't wait to be able to be able to get myself into some real pants and out of maternity ones soon. Yes, it's a little embarrassing that I'm still in maternity pants but I see no point in spending money on bigger sizes when I plan to be much smaller very soon.

    mom212345- I don't do eggs during my vlcd's cuz I'm just too nervous it will impact my #'s. I stick to just the basics. But you'll have to report back if you try it and let us know how it goes.

    I had the other half of my steak from last nite and salad. I usually save my breadstick and/or fruit in case I get hungry in the afternoon. Plan on having a burger tonite for dinner with cucumbers.




    Round 1:
    Week1: - 8 lbs.
    Week 2: -5 lbs.
    Week 3: -4 lbs.
    Week 4: -5.5 lbs.
    Week 5: -5 lbs.
    Weeks 6-11: -2.5 lbs

    Total lost Round 1: 30 lbs.

    Round 2:

    Week 1: -10.5 lbs.
    Week 2: -1.5 lbs
    Week 3: - 3 lbs.
    Week 4: -2 lbs.

    Total lost Round 2: 17 lbs.

    Round 3:
    Week 1: -2.5 (Day 1)
    -2.5 (Day 2)
    -1.0 (Day 3)
    -1.0 (Day 4)

    10am snack was strawberries, lunch was dark lettuce greens with chicken breast I had poached with garlic and herbs on Sunday night. I've already had 3Ls of water today, I may float away!

    Hi Delited!!!I remember you from the thread when you got hives. Did you find out if it was from the HCG or are you going to find that out now?

    Skinnybride: Thanks for such a detailed response. I am counting the days to P3. I am going to stay pretty much Atkins Induction for the first week and then go very slow with adding in new things. I m so hoping to get to my goal. I would like to go 2 pounds below that so that my 2 pound window would not be above my goal.........not sure if that makes sense

    AFM: I stayed the same today, but that is to be expected. I am close to my goal and have been losing like crazy this past week.
    We'll see what tomorrow brings.

    Sounds great! Remember to drink your water It helps flush out all those unwanted pounds

    Thanks for the info on the eggs. When I did HHGC 2 yrs ago I had eggs (1 egg w/ 2 egg whites) 2x a week or so and it never bothered me. I was just thinking deviled eggs to offer a variety.

    Today was loading day 1. I was not very hungry today so it was a struggle to eat. Can't wait to start vlcd..... the sooner it starts the sooner p3 comes along! One more day!

    thank you for asking Kera but still not sure so I am giving this one more try. My family 'the non-fat ones' are totally against this because they feel it has made my immune system more vulnerable to illness, hair loss, sickness, hives and anxiety. To anxiety I say "hell ya" because they don't live in my mind and body and cant I understand how it feels to be insecure and depressed with body image and weight issues. I do not try to justify myself anymore because I am doing this for me and ME ONLY. However if I do get hives again I will have to quit because its not just a rash it is swollen forhead, lips, eyes etc.

    Anyways I am just wanting to do this right. I love reading everyone else's success stories because it gives me inspiration and hope.

    sooooooooooooooooooo, I woke up to a 0.2 pound loss this morning.. day 4 and a 0.2 loss. REally -_- <----- me not impressed.
    I had a whole egg and egg whites yesterday, perhaps the whole egg was a problem. When I have just egg whites I see no issues, but perhaps the whole egg was the culprit. Anyhooo, I am not dwellin.

    I am upping my green tea intake, it helped me a lot last time, so I am aiming for 5 cups a day! I hope it kicks things into high gear!

    Other than that I am all good, feeling good and energized.

    I had about 4 liters of water yesterday. I had to wee twice while sleeping - was not fun! HAte getting up to wee But you gotta do what you gotta do!

    I get hair loss once I am off the hcg, but I understand that is not uncommon after having a baby either. This round I am taking Biotin to see if that will help.

    Down 2.6 lbs this morning. That is 5.8 in two days and I know it won't last, but I'll take it
