October 2017 Loaders - Keeping it real

    Hi all,
I'm starting this October Loaders topic a bit early as I'll be traveling for the next couple of weeks and won't have much, if any, internet access.

If you are planning a round in October, jump into this thread at any time and gather with others doing the same. Whether you are a veteran or a newcomer, this thread is for you.

The best kind of support comes from those going through the same things you are and these loader threads have some great and inspiring conversations.

So support each other, encourage each other and share your experiences as you are comfortable. This is a good place to get your bearings and settle in. As you get more familiar with the forum, you may find one of the several other on-going groups appeals to you, or you may find your "people" right here. Its all good.

All the best on your coming round.

Thanks for starting October early Leez....I AM BACK!!!!!

I loaded Tuesday and Wednesday and starting P2 TODAY!!!! Excited to get back on track.

My rounds in April-May resulted in an 18 lb. loss...I was honestly NOT THRILLED...but I got out of the 200's and that is awesome.

What I AM THRILLED about is...drumroll....it stayed off!!! I stayed around 197 through a summer of moderately bad choices...really bad choices...and a balance of clean eating...P3.

I got on the scale this morning (after loading) and am at 201.3. I AM NOT going to update my ticker. I hope to be 195 a week from now (or less)!

    Happy loading everyone...LETS DO THIS!!!!

WE DON'T NEED NO STINKIN HALLOWEEN CANDY!!! (although I highly recommend a small bag of Candy Corn M & M's for loading...they are delicious!)

GET READY FOR SOME SCARY AWESOME WEIGHT LOSS!!!

    Happy October!!!

TTGR: Speaking of candy corn, I added a bag of Brach's Harvest Mix to my shopping bag this morning for loading days today and tomorrow. Ahhh, HFCS. Other junky stuff planned for the next few days but I will spare you. Here we go!

KDLady - Have fun! I DID!!

I also root you on! Hopefully by this time next year I will be at 150 and shooting for 126 (my weight on my wedding day)!! I can still remember what 126 feels like...amazing!!

Life, early menopause 12 years ago, long illness for both of my parents and their passing....excuses galore for not taking care of myself!

I hit my highest weight and my 50th birthday and decided I need to get this weight off...It might take 8 rounds of HCG and a year plus...I am in it for the long haul...

I KNOW the closer you get to your goal...the harder it becomes. 125...go for it!!! I will be there one day again too!!!

    Enjoy your Loading days!!!!

All the best to everyone getting started this month!

I love that timetogetreal is a member of the "Keeping it real" loader group.

It will be great to have roselanoue contributing here, as she is a long time HCG veteran and maintenance hero. I haven't yet figured out how to lose during maintenance, but she has, and I'm sure she will have great P2 tips for you all along the way as well.

Buckle up and get ready for your amazing HCG ride. Finally--a way to get to a normal weight without starving and feeling bad during the process. Many people experience a marked sense of well-being during P2. It can be almost a euphoria. I hope you all get that side-effect. It's a wonderful bonus.

    Good Morning All!

Day 2 of P1. Gained 1.2 lbs. Today, more candy corn among the McD breakfast, lasagna lunch, Bacon and eggs dinner. Lots of water. TTGR, how's P2 going for you? And where in FL do you live?

I got my HCG from NewEdge, now Rejuvi and the booklet that came with it included an 800 calorie diet. Is this common? I had good luck with Dr. Simeon's protocol so I am not interested in experimenting with an additional 300 calories.

Hi everyone! Hopping in this thread. I'm VLCD4 and down 3.6 so far. I started off the first couple of days with depressing losses but got a big whoosh of 2.2 this morning. Yay! I strayed far above my LDW of 164 (lesson learned for next time), so I'll be relieved when I get below 164. Under 164 is new territory for me and numbers I haven't seen in about 15 years. I'm so stoked! My goal is to get down to 150 this round and that will be GOAL for me. Only 17 more pounds to go! Right now, I'm in a size 10 and they are a bit loose, so I'm thinking I may be an 8 when all is said and done and I haven't seen single digit sizes since I was 18. WEIRD, but exciting! I may have to do a PI later in October when I go to Vegas for a work event..just easier that way, but we'll see if I make it to goal by then. I have done a PI before and have been able to come back and finish the round successfully, so I'm not too worried this time.

P2 food is pretty basic and just a few things like chicken, fish, asparagus (LOVE), cucumber, tomato and onion. I love the simplicity and "boringness" of it - makes life a helluva lot easier! I go to bed before 10 during p2 (at every opportunity) because I have better losses and I avoid temptation (alcohol, eating). I avoid social engagements as much as possible - again, easier to stay on protocol. I do have a few events during this round which put me near other food and alcohol - but I MUST resist! I'm in this round with the mindset of POP. I believe that's the only way to successfully do hcg is to not think about cheats happening at all.

I hope everyone slays it in October! And I'm glad we are all in this together!

We don't recommend the programs and menus that come with any of the HCG suppliers. It's a personal decision if you want to try following their programs, but we know for sure that the original protocol works for almost everyone. Some have had good experiences with the revised versions, some have not. You just have to decide if you are willing to put all this effort and time in as an experiment. To me, its not worth it.

@Natalie: so glad to hear things are finally moving for you. I can't wait to congratulate you on making your goal weight. It will happen! Being in single digit sizes is awesome. To me, it feels like I'm visiting another planet. It still doesn't quite compute.

Joining this thread and reposting my question from September thread...

    Leez help!

VLCD26 - I dont know whats going on. I am fluctuating up and down between 126/127 for past couple of days. Lost few pounds during TOM but i havent made any changes to what I am eating.
Still the scale isnt moving in the right direction...I was hoping to get down to 120 by this weekend. Frustrating to see this happen every few days...

Its not unusual to have stalls during P2. Its not even considered a stall until you've had no losses for 4 days. I've had stalls as long as 11 days. Sometimes when you are at an old established set point, you can stall for 14 days. As long as you aren't hungry, there isn't much you can do except wait it out.

I agree, it is frustrating, but you cannot make your body reach an arbitrary goal. It will do what its going to do.
