Hello hello! Not much to report on these past few days except I moved out of ketosis yesterday. I did not check this am. I woke up super early today and forgot to test. I think the culprit may have been my homemade candy. Mixing organic cocoa, MTC oil, stevia flavors (dark chocolate and English toffee) and organic peanut butter. Poured into adorable tiny cupcake thingys and freeze. It's about an ounce per serving, so the last couple nights I've had two. So, the peanut butter, maybe?

Linda, we are expecting a biggish snowfall today, 3-6 inches and then icy rain. Schools and government are already closed and as of 6:30am, not a lick of snow to be seen! Grateful for a day off so I plan to spend it with Edie. She turns 28 today! No shenanigans just mother/daughter lunch/salon. We'll save the casino for next time!

    Happy hump day my friends!

Well, I wrote a post yesterday, but it looks like it vanished... Basically, I said Happy Birthday to Edie! Hope you guys had a nice day together.

No big weather story here, but we got home around 8pm to a brown-out. Very annoying with the APC beeping. We turned off the main breaker so electronic things didn't get hurt by the low power. Sat in the dark for a couple of hours until the problem was resolved. You forget how many of our daily activities are dependent on electricity...

Hope everyone has a great Thursday!

Hi Tracy - I posted twice, but they did not appear. Just wanted to wish Edie Happy Birthday - well now a belated birthday. Hope you had a great day together.

ETA: OK, now my post from this morning showed up. Very weird...

Hi there, yes, the forums were a little wonky these last two days, I just stayed clear.
Thank you for your bday wishes! Wednesday was a bust due to the weather so we had supper out last night, kind of a "gastro/boutique" restaurant in Ellicott City. The food was just plain weird. Edie loves that kind of stuff since she studied culinary arts. I thought I was smart about cooking but this child is a wiz; she had to decipher half the menu for me. Spent grains, grisette, Neuseke, I just wanted a bowl of soup!... But she should open her own restaurant some day. And I'll make the soup.

I did have two ounces of whiskey before the meal. And slept like crap last night and felt like crap this morning. Over two ounces. So this is my body's way of telling me to cut it out completely. That will be hard because me and Jameson and Jack and Evan and Glen and Johnnie have been dating a looooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnngggggggggg time.

    Well, happy Friday Linda!

Hey Tracy! Cleared my browser cache and history and now the forum seems back to normal.

Not much new here. Expecting delivery of our new TV today. Bought it on the Saturday before Super Bowl when all the big sales were happening. It is too big to fit in our truck, so we needed to have it delivered Today our project is to cut and install the last 5 tiles for the master bath floor, then tomorrow grout. Progress, albeit slowly, but surely.

Sorry you had a bad reaction to your beloved whiskey. I can't drink that hard stuff, never could. I will stick with wine. Even with that, I've found that my tolerance is way lower than it used to be.

Have a great TGIF and wonderful weekend everyone!
