It should be fine to have roasted garlic in P2. You mention you are only eating a couple cloves, so it would be used as a spice. If you ate the whole bulb it would probably still be ok, but you would need to allow for the calories.

Eating the whole bulb of roasted garlic would bring other anti-social problems though.

    Good morning all,

    I'm on P2D22, down 2 lbs to 135.8 for a total loss 10.2 lb.

These Triumph hhcg drops seem to be better for me than the injections.

    Happy losses,

    Lynne

    Happy Monday!

Leez, thanks for that feedback. That's what I was thinking... And no, I would not eat the whole bulb! The taste is pretty intense! Two or three cloves is usually my limit. And the trick to not offending anyone is to make sure everyone else eats some too

Lynne, you could bake it in the oven too. I've seen recipes for drizzling with EVOO, wrapping in foil, etc. We just do it this way because we're lazy and there is no prep involved at all. Congrats on the great loses! That's wonderful! Glad the drops are working out for you too.

    Tracy, hope all is well!

AFM: Well, I guess I didn't get to keep that great loss from Saturday. I am up 0.1 today to 137.4. Nothing stands out to me other than not much action on the TMI front and I know I didn't get all of my water in on the weekend due to being so darned busy unpacking and so on. A little disappointing to hit a pause in the losing so soon, but hoping it will start back up again very soon.

Have a great losing week everyone!

All is well! Just a couple of very busy work days and I need to be in the office earlier and stay later than usual. What's it a sign of when you wake up and first thing you think about is looking forward to going to sleep that night?

VLCD 15 down 10.5. Still holding down that big loss from the other day and another 1/2 lb this am. I did not eat enough yesterday though. Our lunch was catered, lasagna, chicken, garlic bites, three salads already covered in cheese veggies in butter. The only thing I could eat was one of the salads that I could shake the feta cheese off of. I brought my homemade soup in thank goodness, but got a lot of looks and comments.

Thanks for that garlic recipe! I have a bulb of elephant garlic, I prefer it to regular, has a little sweetness to it.

everyone vote today! We don't get political on here, so all I will say is please vote! Also, remember to vote. And while you're at it - VOTE!
    I'm off to vote!

Tracy - I think it means that you're darned tired and working too hard. It happens to me too sometimes...

You're doing great on the losses and so amazing that you are able to stick to protocol through catered lunches. Too bad about the comments on you bringing your soup. This protocol is so much easier when you can just remove yourself from social situations, especially large groups.

OK, I voted all ready - last week, as a matter of fact! I am sick and tired of all the ads and looking forward to those going away!

Lynne - hope you are having a great day!

AFM: Down 0.2 to 137.2. Not fantastic, but still moving in the right direction. Rings are a little looser today, so that's always a good sign.

OK, everyone have a lovely losing election Tuesday!

Thanks, Linda - I forgot to weigh today but I voted

    Tracy -

I eat keto and have the same problem at group meals: nothing I can eat. On a ski trip last spring, the trip leader saw me stripping toppings (which I can eat) off pizza crust, which I can't. She made a comment that she couldn't eat the crust either. I had to wonder, why didn't she arrange for an alternative that she could eat?

    Happy losses, all

    Lynne

I think the answer to the pizza question is that carby foods (pizza, lasagna, fried chicken, etc) are cheaper and lend themselves more to group meals. But yes, it is strange that she didn't have an alternative, especially if she couldn't eat the crust either.

Oh I have stripped many a pizza!
Same weight today but weighed with my pjs on because I'm tired. I stayed up too late watching election returns. I hope everyone's favorite won. Mine did not and could mean my job is in jeopardy. I'm quasi government and serve at the whim of our county council. Yikes.
Anyone hiring? Linda, need a closet cleaner?

I was up late watching returns too. Some real nailbiters - still!

Things went a good way in my state. Except for the local issues. But something is terribly wrong in our county. Everytime there is a new tax proposal, our silly voters pass it. They passed 8 tax raises last night! It's outrageous.

It should be fun to watch the fallout from the house takeover as the dust settles.

Stay strong and on plan today, everyone!

Totally tried to ignore the election stuff last night. Too much drama, and nothing in my control. I guess I'm kind of an ostrich when it comes to that stuff...

Tracy - hope your job is secure. If not, I can find something for you to do, for sure.

Leez - always good to see you pop in here.

    Lynne - how's it going?

AFM: Down 0.5 today - yay! Made sure to get all of my water in yesterday, so that must have helped. I'll take it. Yesterday, the rest of our kitchen counters were installed. So exciting! Now, we only have the shower walls left and we'll be able to move in. The great thing about having the counters in is that I can now "move in" to the kitchen with pots, pans and everything else in the kitchen. I guess I need to get busy with the drawer liner installation!

Have a great rest of the week!

Nice .5 loss Linda! You were due, I'm sure. On your tiny frame that's a big deal.

I'm down .2 today and I'm relieved. I had lunch out yesterday and my go to is a naked burger on a bed of greens. Then learned the burger was a blend of ground brisket, short rib and chuck. Certainly NOT 98% fat free. Yikes. And the chef decided to dress my salad with a honey vinaigrette. A couple bites in I could taste the transgressions!!!!! My mistake, I neglected to tell them no dressing. But that burger alone probably had about 30 grams of fat in it. (Those three bites were delicious though!)

Linda, thank you! I think my job is safe for the time being had a long chat with my CEO last night and he reassured me on a bunch of things. He thinks he would go if anyone had to go. But just in case, I'll practice my folding and hanging and simpering and ironing in case you need a butler in your new digs! How exciting for you to get settled in, I know it's been a long time coming.

I've decided to do the PI and will start next Thursday. I have minor surgery on the 15th and want to keep things uncomplicated. My daughter Edie is planning a P3 friendly TDay menu, she's an awesome chef - and George is flying in from Nashville, so I'm excited!

    Have a wonderful day everyone!

    Hi ladies,

I had great losses last week but on Tuesday I weighed in with a ridiculous 8 lb gain, for no obvious reason! Today I'm still up 2.2 lb. from Sunday's weigh in. I have to believe it's water weight loss / gain, but it's annoying! I'm down 6 lbs from my pre-load weight, but still!!! Not fair!

    To be continued . . .

Linda, it's great to hear you are getting ready to move! A new house is so much work, but wonderful when it's built to your specs.

Tracy, I hope your 30g fat yesterday doesn't derail you!

    Lynne
