    October 2020 Loaders - Overcomers

Hi October Loaders, this thread is for you!

Use it for planning, sharing questions and concerns, support or just for personal accountability. We are here for you.

Its a great time to for some self-care and working on our health, being in between summer and the holidays. May we all make the best use of the time.

Any hopes we have had that the pandemic would be behind us now are pretty much gone, but we can make the best of that depressing reality by taking positive action on our health and outlook. We are overcomers!

Good luck with your round, and encourage one another!

UGH I am back. I was doing so well. Then Covid hit, and a house guest who bakes, and, and, and, pounds later I need them gone. I vowed to not do this again because really, why? It is seemingly so easy to stay on target with p4. But it is not. Humans suck LOL
Help me. Got my Intermountain drops today (have been successful with HHCG in the past) and could technically start right away with loading (on West coast and plenty of hours left for good fats and a piece of chees cake LOL). But man, the commitment... I know what it is like. I know it is good and yet I am so hesitant. Give me all the kicks in the butt to start NOW please!

Welcome mrsstrong I understand the gravity of the commitment. If it were me, I'd start fresh in the morning and use tonight to start re-reading Pounds & Inches to get inspired. But you know yourself. Do what works for you!

    Thank you, Leez!

I think I will start tomorrow and use the time to meal plan for P2 as well. I realize that what I love about P2 is that I do really well in general about having set meals and not have to think about anything.

YOU can do this.... do not fret about what happened to cause the gain. You cannot undo what has passed. A day at a time and you know this works. You will do fine, Much success to you and happy you are back, I have been around here and there since 2011 doing a few rounds to lower my goal weight but also to get rid of yearly creeping gains. This P4 since i am home more i am doing mindful eating on P4... eating pretty clean mon thru Friday. That means i record everything i put in my mouth...even a bite here and there. It is revealing. But Saturday and Sunday i do not record what i eat and do some cooking and baking which I eat on Sunday but give the leftovers to family so i do not have the unnecessary food around on Monday . It is a plan that works well for me. I also realize at age 77 i do not need as many calories as i did at age 65 ... that has allowed me to have decreasing creeping pounds rather than my increasing pounds As in the past. Will see what happens at Christmas when i do tons of baking, Lol

Hi Leez, will be loading this weekend and starting round 2 on Monday. I took your advice and waited 6 weeks between rounds and you were right, they flew by!

Have maintained LDW within up/down limit by a pound so ready to go.

I indulged in some 'wants' this past week and learned something about the dream of a food vs the actuality :-)

    2 biggies:

Chinese noodles - Kind of meh...
Pizza - first 2 bites taste great! After that, kind of meh...

I'm 20 lbs from goal so happy to get any loss I can in the next 40 days. If I need to do 2 more rounds instead of 1, so be it.

You did great in P4. 20 pounds is a reasonable goal for a 40 dose round. You are not likely to need another after that. Be sure to skip one day a week if doing RX injections. (You can wait to start skipping up to 12 days or so.) That protects you from immunity, but also allows you to stretch your round longer. And you do continue to lose on the skip days.

I used to look at those kind of foods as treats, but I've eventually evolved to not be interested in them anymore. I developed new indulgent favorites from my healthy list after a while. It sounds like you may be starting that process where that kind of stuff just doesn't thrill you as much as before.

Thank you, roselanoue! I can do this!!
Your plan sounds like a good one for you! I too need a more relaxed weekend where I can enjoy foods. I will need to experiment what that looks like for me without gaining the dreaded 2+ pounds. I have only ever had to do one. I wish I had done one right after starting eating the yummy baking stuff and kept my weight in check but it was all too much. And it's OK! It's OK to let go, and it is awesome to have this HCG!
