My nutritionist measured me right before my load day and I'll make sure that she measures me once I'm done. I know that I've lost inches because I can see and feel it! I know that I have lost in my upper arms which is so exciting for me as that area is the biggest problem! With other diets, it always goes from the boobs first, but NEVER the arms! I can't wait to wear sleeveless tops and dresses!

Can't believe that I lost another pound this morning--just hope that I keep at this pace (as long as there aren't any gains or stalls).

Terry - Congrats. You are right, this forum is great. It can become time consuming though. There is so much good info.

love2snorkel - You've had a great first week. You should be able to easily get to 20 lbs. And congrats for being at the halfway point.

hcgshan, trshme - Welcome to the forum. I loaded 9/16-17.

aliciaredd - yes, better to wait until you feel better. Soon hopefully!

Cheeky - Yah for another pound.

AFM - Down 1.2 this morning. Week 1 - 6.6. A little less than last week 1, but still awesome. Have a great Sunday losers!!

    Congrats everyone Thank you Barbara.

So I've been having a super hard time reaching 500 calories each day because I've been eating just a few strawberries and dont like apples. I have been using about a teaspoon of Hcg prepared BBQ - tomato paste with liquid smoke and a few spices with Stevia.

I lost 3 lbs first two days - then only .5 yesterday. I wonder if my body thinks its starving already? I dont feel hungry at all.

I have even upped my fish portions and chicken if needed but I dont want to go over 4 oz at any meal.. although I did do 7 ounces of white fish the other day and still lost 3 lbs. I am only reaching 430 calories a day. Oh and I dont do Melba toast. I cant find it at the stores here.

In the chat room they said dont count calories but since it seems I've slowed remarkably I am thining I am not getting enough calories.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks everyone.

Terry, you won't lose everyday. You may even gain a little sometimes when staying on protocol. If you aren't hungry, hcg is doing what it's supposed to do. I eat about a cup of strawberries (50 calories) and oranges are about 50 calories if you like them. I didn't count calories first round and lost fine. I now have a fitbit, that I used through P3/P4, so I've been using it in this R2. I too have found I sometimes have trouble getting to 500 calories. I sometimes only do one fruit, and I almost never do the bread. So, up my protein to get closer to 500. Don't know how it compares with last round because as I said I didn't count then, but I'm still losing fine. If you aren't hungry you're probably fine. You've lost 3.5 pounds in 3 days! Where else could you do that? And remember average loss for women is .5-.75 lb/day. You're doing great!

Wow, just did phase 1. I thought it would be great, but it was actually hard. I don't know if it was because of the HCG or not. I was so full and had to force feed myself. But I did. I ate soooooo much and today I got on the scale and had only gained a pound! That is sooo not my normal MO....usually if I just consider eating something, I gain several pounds just by the thought!
Anyway here we go!!! r1p2 ........yay! I love this forum....I am so grateful to know that I have HCG friends where I can ask questions and get support along the way!

Barbara, in defense of kraft Mac and cheese.......I love homemade as well...but there is something about it......when I lived in Canada, there was a restaurant that actually served kraft Mac and cheese in a pot with a wooden spoon! I thought that was so clever because most people that I know who love it, do that....they don't bother to put it in a bowl!
Anyway, enough about Mac and cheese..........
I decide to abandon raw veganess in order to do this HCG diet correctly. I have read the vegetarian forums. What I got from them is that if you do not follow the protocol exactly, you do not lose as much weight. The only reason I am a raw vegan is because I feel healthier than I have ever felt on it....but I was still not losing weight. I have GOT to reset my metabolism. I will go back to raw vegan in between rounds. Have a great day everyone!

Texas-I'm in the same boat as you as I have never eaten the grissini/melba and cut back to only 1 fruit after the first week. I too have absolutely no appetite. I did feel extremely weak on Wed though (had to stay home from work) so my Dr rec upping my protein another 100 calories. That helped immensely and has not interfered with my losses. I'm getting my extra protein from a protein shake (Jay Robb whey formula) and it doesn't have any sugar, just stevia. Overall, I'm still just slightly above 500 cals since I don't eat the breadsticks or second fruit. When I go to eat my meals, I literally have to make myself eat as some of my food isn't appealing anymore since I'm not hungry. I'm liking beef and chicken but am losing interest in fish. My fave veggie are cucumbers marinated in ACV, a little stevia powder and spices!

    Barbara-nice loss!

    Kim-welcome!

    Let's all be losers!

Hi everyone! I am glad to see you are all doing well! I completed my first week. I was very surprised with the results and that I was not hungry 95% of the time. After 9 days (including load days and a 5.4 lb gain) I lost a total of 16 lbs. YAHOOOOO! I ate everything but the Grisinni because I didn't have any yet. I have to admit, going to the grocery store yesterday was difficult! Everything I walked passed called to me but I didn't browse and went directly to the meat counter, etc.

I did have a pseudo set back with only .1 lbs lost yesterday but I think it was because I was so busy at work Friday that I didn't have more than 20 oz of water all day. (Rough day started with no power and found out my shirt was inside out after being at work for 2 hours!!!) Saturday I remeasured for the first time but was met with inconsistent results. I figure that without tattooing a line extactly where I measured before that I'll have misreadings all the time. Bummer! I will have to go by pant size like love2snorkel.

So, can anyone give me to key to posting my pic and my weight loss ticker? I've uploaded my photo but it won't show my picture and I'm not sure how to do the ticker. Thanks!

Have a great week, be prepared, drink your water and enjoy your results!

Going for a second round and on my last loading day (thank God it's over!!) Lost 25 lbs. in my first round from 185 to 160 and want to lose another 25 and get to 135 lbs! Things I will change this time: drink more water and add some yoga or walking. Although I am happy with the results, it took 42 days to lose 25!! Any suggestions to speed up the process?

Callie - I don't know how to transfer the links, but go to the main forum listing, and go to Forum how to's. It will tell you how to do what you want. You picture is called an avatar. The stats you list above can go into your signature. There are threads for both of these, plus one that tells you how to add a ticker to your signature. Welcome to the forum and good luck. You've lost terrific. Remember the average loss for women is .5-.75 lb/day, and it does slow down after week one where you lost a lot of water. YOU are above average at this point. Your body sometimes takes a day or two to adjust. And most people have stalls sometime during the round. Just follow the protocol and as you can see, you do lose. Keep posting on the forum to get support and advice. It helps a lot.
