Thread: September 2017 Loaders - Slimmer Soon

The hunger issue can be dealt with if I eat by 5pm, but it gets very hard to do living with elderly in laws during this power outage. All the questions on why I can eat this or that, and calling me rude not to wait til dinner time, that can only be at 7:30 ...😒... And I'm the one that's making the dinners. So yeah. Lol. And I said nothing when one ate all my cabbage soup for lunch.

Still eating straight chicken or chicken broth for protein. No other choices currently. My past losses were best on beef, but I remain optimistic.

I still can't weigh in yet, but it really doesn't matter. I'm sticking to the diet. If I hit 150 at the end of this madness , that's all that matters.

    Thanks for listening.

Still on my TOM, but down a little bit since my gain. Lost the 1lb from TOM and woke up today with another - 1.4. That puts me at VLCD9 down 11.4lbs! I do feel hungry in the morning(not starving) but once I have my water and coffee, I'm good to go for the rest of the day with no issues, I'm taking 150 by injections with B12. I've been exercising 3x a week, I do notice a difference in stamina and I'm a bit slower than usual. I'm not pushing it, just trusting my body and how it feels. I hope everyone is wonderful and seeing the scale drop! I have never lost that much weight in 9 days before, really loving HCG diet! I feel like I can actually get this weight off.

    Happy Wednesday everyone!

Natalie – That trip sounds like an awesome way to usher in your new decade. Trust me, 40 pretty much feels the same as 39! As with this diet, most of “age” is mental. 60 is the new 40, you know? If so, then 40 must be the new 20, but hopefully without all the drama of being 20! HBD!

Kat – I have a Weight Watcher digital scale by Conair that I bought at Costco 5 or 6 years ago. It measures in .1 increments and seems to be pretty accurate. I’ve never calibrated it with a premeasured bag of anything, but as long as it’s consistent, it works for me. We had a discussion on here a couple of months ago about keeping the scale out of the bathroom due to the humidity factor.

Blondie – Wow, way to be determined with your diet while camping out with the in-laws. You have my utmost respect for your will power. Hang in there!

Laur – What terrific losses! Keep doing what you’re doing, because it certainly seems like you’re getting results.

Everyone else – hope you’re having a terrifically losing week so far!

AFM: P2D3 and down -0.8, so -0.9 for 2 days. Still have 0.6 loading weight to dump, but at least I’m headed in the right direction – DOWN! I did better with the eating yesterday and had a nice half of a filet mignon for dinner. A nice treat after all the chicken and I have enough left over for a couple more meals. I’m getting more into the P2 mindset and having food that’s prepared ahead of time is key for me.

OK, everyone, keep on keepin’ on!

Well if I go from Vlcd1 at 2:00 pm to vlcd3 at 2:00 pm, I'm down 2.0ish pounds. Not really the best time to weigh yourself, but it's the best I can do during the circumstances. Both weigh-ins were after 1 liter of water and lunch. So I'll take it!
Finally got off chicken and made a buffalo patty and had approved tomato soup (basically veggie stock, spices, tomatoes cooked down then blended)

    Tonight crab and wilted spinach.

Linder- thank you! Amazing the stress hasn't made me buckle! Keep up the good work.

Hello everyone!!! I was down 0.1 today!!! WOW!!! Going down verrryyyyy slooooow.... I guess I will see how I will end this week ( which would be week#3) and decide if I want to continue or not. From the past rounds, the last weeks only produced about 1 pound loss, I don't think it's worth it. Maybe doing cycling would be best.... don't know yet...

In the past Ive lost all my weight the first 13 days, then nothing. I normally just increase the protein until the end. This time I'm up about 10 pounds heavier that my normal "uh oh I better do hcg weight,"as I should have done this months ago,so we'll see what happens. When get down to 145 pounds I wear a size 6, so it might be that whole abnormal fat is gone situation.

You don't have to loose that much, it makes perfect sense.... I still have 30 pounds to go and that is strange.... but I will just keep going, at least the min required and see what happens next couple of days. That's why I am thinking about cycling, just to get anywhere close to goal and try to stabilize. It's always challenging for me.
I wear size 6 too now but when I lost a bunch of weight on previous rounds, I was wearing size 4 !!!! I did reach my goal of 135 lbs and even lower before, but could never stay there. This time I waited waaaaayyy too long, just did not want to weigh myself at all. out of sight out of mind. It's just again the health concerns - that's what really motivates me

Lebedkat, I have cycled before and again just recently with pretty good results. The first time I did it in 2010 and maintained for 5 years. Back then I did a 23 day round, 2 weeks P3 and then a 40 day round and finished with a three week P3 and then maintenance. I just started p3 yesterday. This time I started a 33 day round in June, did p3 for four weeks and just finished a 40 day round.
The cycling forum is pretty dark but I may hang out there once I get going in this P3. We can chat more there if you like!

Guys - I'm so excited, down 1.2 which put me into the 180's!!! 189.2 to be exact, but this was my first mini goal to be back in the 180's! Next little goal is obvi the 170's. I'm hoping to lose 25lbs this round to be 175, ultimate goal is 145. VLCD10 down - 12.6 can't wait to see where the next few weeks take me!
