September 2020 Loaders - Linking Arms

Hi September Loaders, this group is for you!

If you are the type that benefits from reporting, sharing and supporting, then you've found your place. We are all about helping you get through the sometimes socially lonely HCG diet protocol. Its lonely because the menu is so restricted that its difficult to eat out or eat alongside others. Here, you don't have to explain your plan...we all get it.

I'm here to address any concerns or questions you might have as you go along. My input will always be based on the original protocol. However, if you are following one of the various adaptations, you will still be supported here. We'll do our best to help you with your commitment, you are always free to do what you think is best for you. We will link arms and help you through.

Wishing you all the best as you start this new and rewarding adventure!

I will be on vacation, but will be back and ordering hcg to do mid-Sept. Hope to take off a good 17 lbs again and feel my normal thinness. : )
    Started JULY 2015
    Ended 4 rounds November 2016
    -80 pounds!

I keep gaining 20 to 25 of it back, I take off 5 pounds myself and then I do a round and lose 20 lbs. So I have done a total of 7 rounds. I am on my 8th round, taking the SAME 20 lbs off. ugh. But at least I don't gain 80 back!

    Hi Leez,

I posted this on another page but wanted your advice:

Anyone go back to another P2 round after only 3 weeks of P3? I do Intermountain pellets. I've been within the up/down limit on my LDW for the last 2 weeks, currently .6 below. I did 40 days last round, would like to do a short 23 day round. I'm 20 lbs from goal weight but would be happy with a solid 10 lb loss on a short round.

    Thanks for any thoughts :-)

You'll find some on the forums that do what you describe. Its called cycling. Some say it has been successful for them, but my observation is that many of those that use this method don't ever get to goal (as stabilization is affected) and they find themselves regaining and having to lose the same pounds over and over.

I don't recommend it. I believe it is important to observe the waiting times between rounds to give your body a chance to recover from the big changes that have happened during your round. I think its especially important for those that have completed a long round. Immunity is not an issue with homeopathic hhcg, but there are other considerations.

It isn't that you won't lose well if you start a new round after only the 3 weeks of P3, but that you risk being able to successfully stabilize for the long-term afterward.

Here are more of my thoughts on why its not a good idea, and what benefits happen when you follow the protocol time frames. I hope you'll consider adding the additional waiting time specified by the protocol.

Thanks for your quick and thoughtful reply, Leez!

You're the queen of HCG (Grammy being the Queen Mother :-) so I'll take your advice and wait. 3 weeks of P3, which is such a relief and a treat anyway, with the extra fat calories, and then P4. Also am getting back into my regular exercise routine, which I was afraid to do in P2 because I thought I'd be starving and go off PoP.

I'll read the info on your links and wait the recommended time before doing another round. P3-4 was my downfall last time, I got lax and sloppy, so I'm determined to do it right this time.

That six weeks will go really fast. I don't think you'll be sorry for the decision. I wouldn't start any heavy workouts in P3 because the resulting inflammation can confuse the scale when you are trying to stabilize, but P4 is a great time to try out any new maintenance plans.

grammy is the queen mother indeed. She has seen it all, and we are so lucky to have her continued input here.
