    September 2021 Loaders - Sassies

Welcome September Loaders, this thread is for you!

Time to get your sass on! A bit part of what happens when we get our bodies back to a normal weight is a relaxing into the image of the person we have been inside all along. It is both peaceful and exciting. And it can make you feel quite sassy!

Use this topic to plan, connect, give and get support, share questions and concerns, or just post for personal accountability. I'll be around to offer input based on the original protocol. Often there is a mix of those new to HCG and veterans who are always willing to share their experiences.

Good luck everyone, and let the chat begin.

    Good Afternoon Sassies,

I hope everyone is doing well. I am plugging along here in P2. Daughter is having dose issues. Leez I posted on a thread (maybe a bad place, the newcomer info, was not sure where to post). If you get a minute please advise. My daughter works out alot, and we are having issues adjusting her dose. She is skipping 2 doses of homeopathic pellets today, as she is having huge hunger issues.

The complicating factor is she had her COVID vaccine booster yesterday, and feels lousy today...

Hope everyone has a great final day of August!

    Fondly,
    RK

I'm not sure you will get a good diagnostic if she is dealing with covid shot side effects.

Go ahead and report in your thread. It doesn't matter where you post things, I see them in the daily posts search.

Just arrived home from Colorado and unloaded very little inventory as we sold a lot. So we restocked our truck and will leave again Thursday morning. I didnt weigh for two days and did not eat normally (tho i was p3 compliant) as we drove long hrs to get home to restock. WEighed early this morning at 147.4 So up .4 over LIW I know a cpl lbs will drop off after i go back to balanced meals and water. I ate too many macademia nuts as well as cheese crisps… so cutting back on these items. Not hungry Just normal meal time hunger. More water needed.
My first cousin is 79 and is in her final days .. has had MS many years and early dementia causing health issues that are worsening. She is on morphine drip to ease pain in her passing. She lives in California so i have not seen her in many years… prob about 15. Praying for her family

Happy September, everyone! I love this last month of summer. A few last backyard BBQs, some yard prep to get things ready for winter, and later this month some fall planting. I hope we are spared from fires as they came pretty close last year starting on Labor Day, and man, CA is so tragic right now around lake Tahoe

I hope your daughter is able to figure her dosing out, RK! And that she revokes quickly from the of the vaccine side effects!

I am so sorry about your cousin, Rose. May her passing be smooth and peaceful.
Congratulations on selling out! Sounds like you are doing awesome maintaining your weight while traveling. Why cut anything if you are maintaining well?

AFM, weighing in at 150.2 so down again. While I am fine where I am at, the ups and downs are rather big jumps so I am wondering what is causing this and whether I want to investigate or not. Up and down by over a pound at times. I am only one pound over LDW now and didn’t do any steak days even though I was over the limit twice in the last week. We’ll see how this second P3 week goes I guess and I am glad to see things even out on their own. I am a bit weary of eliminating foods if the jumps they cause even out and I keep hovering around 150, kwim?

So sorry to hear about your cousin Rose. Prayers for her and her family. Even though expected, still sad to see and let go sometimes. Sounds like you did well with maintenance, with no way of weighing and eating on the road. I find I really want to snack while traveling in a car, maybe just me--but I want to eat in car to break monotony , and nuts of any kind do not agree with me, weight wise. In fact, maybe that is why I didn't have much trouble with my stablization during p3's and p4 this year. I really didn't add nuts back much. In years past when I added almonds back in (which I dearly love) I would lose all self-control and definitely would gain. So just didn't go there this year. But in your case only .4 over LIW after traveling, that is a definite WIN , I'd say. Good job.

Sorry, RK, I just never respond on dosing issues, do not feel qualified to advise. Leez is the one to advise on that. Sorry your daughter feels lousy after booster. So is that her 3rd shot? Guess we'll be getting our booster in October. Hope she feels better soon and gets her dose adjusted.

Leez I love the SASSIES TITLE for September! I just may do the one thread, back and forth seem to take up so much time, and I get lost going back and forth, sorry everyone! I agree with mrs strong, so much easier jumping on the one thread.

mrsstrong, I understand what you are saying--how much do we need to fret over the up and down of the pound up or down. Well, the doc said not to worry until 2 lbs. up over the LDW, so there's that--but I know, I'd start freaking out just edging towards the Last dose weight! Crazy, such a mind game. You know, you're at that low end of where I want to be--I'm wondering how difficult will it be to stay there, to maintain at that 150 mark? Maintenance at 160 wasn't difficult at all for me, infact, was able to stablize below that, but I'm not sure I'll be able to do the same at the weight you're at now. We'll see. Watching how you're doing. Good luck.

    Hello sassy friends,

Mrs. Strong; I would not worry about 1 pound jumps. You are still early in P3 and it will even out. Down the road if you keep seeing this then I would track what you eat in my fitness pal or fat secret or lose it so you have a record of what is causing it, but only at the beginning of P4 do I do that.

Rose: Sorry about your cousin. I hope things end peacefully for her and you and all her family have great comfort. Congrats on selling out and wonderful about your maintaining.

Dubbles, thanks. I am sure you will maintain with no problems. Where are you now in the round?

AFM: With Leez's help--Thank you again Leez-- my daughter increased her dose slightly, knowing she may have to go up more as Leez suggested. Also, and this was a shocker--after being UP and not losing I went down 3.8 pounds today. It is P2 D19 and I have never had such a large drop this late in the round. I stepped on the scale twice just to be sure... hope it stays for tomorrow!

    Have a great evening.
    Fondly,
    RK

Starting my round tomorrow, using tablets for the first time. I'm loading the next couple of days, then VLCD. The fridge is cleared of almost every temptation. Onward!

RK, Dubbles, it has been over two-pound jumps and then back down. I jumped from 149.6 to 151.8, twice! LDW is 149.2. I would not be worried at all about a one-pound jump but a 2.2 jump is less normal. I didn't do a correction day either time and it seems to come down on its own so it is most likely something I ate. I just haven't figured out what. It is indeed still early, hence the no correction day to see what my body does, but something is triggering this!
