Good luck Samster, wow, I never seem to gain that little with loading. But then maybe you did what they call a clean load and was a healthier load. I eat more carbs and sugars than I should when loading and often gain 5-6 lbs. I always count my days as vlc1 once I start eating 500 calories a day, the first 2 of hcg, I count as Loading days 1 and Loading days 2---that's how I do it anyway. Looks like from your tickler, it's how you do it too. 32 lbs to go is not too bad, you'll get this done, if not in one round, should definitely be able to get done in 2. It's normal to be hungry by mealtimes. I found I would get a little hungry around 3 in afternoon as well. Which is perfect time for afternoon fruit. Which is where the apple or strawberries came in real handy. Some rounds I tried not to eat both fruits, but in later rounds I ate them, and I really stablized well in later p3s. Anyway, good luck, and let the magic of 1 first week of hcg begin. Love, love it!

    Goodmorning, sassies!

Was going to weigh and report but forgot so here I am without a weigh-in. Still holding myself accountable to check in and see how everyone is doing. I have been fine though so I don't expect any issues.

Dubbles, I had a load where I lost weight!!! The change from carbs and inflammatory foods to fats and healthy ones made a huge difference. I have since mostly loaded on healthy foods! OK, cheese cake one day and ice cream the second, but the rest was healthy and high fat. Salmon, eggs, avocado, bacon, etc. Crazy huh?

Karen, I too try and live to my fullest though I accept that some days are just blah even if I am alive. Someone told me a long time ago that gratefulness is the secret to happiness and it is what I live by. And say something kind to one person a day at least.

Samster, I hope your P2 is going great! Loading is P1 so VLCD is P2. You are P2Day1
It sounds like it will be good for you to see what foods inflame you if you drop that much water weight while loading!

Definitely not a clean load, haha. I suspect it's because I was binge eating already so it's not like I needed to plump up my fat stores any further. It's one of the things that has me convinced of the effectiveness of HCG, because there is no reason to lose that weight on the second day of loading because I'm not doing anything different to what I've done for the previous week or more.

On the other hand, I have found that I tend to put on weight on the no injection days and have not dropped below LIW. But fingers crossed that changes this round!

That's interesting about the second fruit... I might give it a go from tomorrow and see how I do with it while I'm in the fun, early stages of big losses.

I'm settling in for a long round... I suspect I won't achieve the full 32lb but I am hoping to just do the one round, stabilise, and then lose the rest with more traditional methods. But we'll see how I do!

Thank you! I suspect the inflammation is chocolate. I can take or leave every other food in existence, but my calling to chocolate is very, very strong. I suspect it's also causing a chronic reflux cough that I have. Even knowing all that, it's been a real challenge trying to cut it out, so I'm hoping to resolve some of that with this round, too.

Samster, once you get to appropriate phase of p3/p4 there is now a Lily's chocolate that has no sugar added, that I have learned to substitute for my chocolate cravings, not like real milk chocolate, but it suffices with a cup of creamy coffee when I am craving chocolate, But that is for later. For now, try and forget about it. It is worth waiting and hcg helps with cravings, I think. I think the first week to 10 days is difficult, but once you "settle in" gets much, much easier--for me anyway. I seem to forget that every round, everyone reminds me and then I remember. Put a big NOTE TO SELF in my diet journal this last round, IT GETS EASIER IN 7-10 DAYS! Really, it takes me that long to settle in mentally. Love the program, tho. Seems the only way I can lose weight. Going to p3 myself, today. Yay me. Good luck Samster!

Today is day 7 P4 145.2 LIW 147.: I was holding around 144.4 in P3 and when I started P4 i dont always weigh each day, Pretty much sticking to P3 eating with small amounts of carbs added . Usually slowly drop a little after first month of P4 but not sure this will happen. Will try to maintain and maybe do short round next year around March to drop liw to 138 Feel ok at current weight but feel great at 138.

What kind do you get? I always get 85% or above and don't have that issue. It's very low in sugar and satisfies my craving. They say it is a magnesium deficiency that causes chocolate cravings. So I take that too just in case.

Samster... I can realate to the chololate cravings...as Dubbs noted, Lilly's chocolate has been a life saver for me in P3...but in P2, just put it out of your mind. Once you get past that first week you will be golden. I know apples aern't the same as chocolate, but since I knew chocolate wasn't something I could eat in P2, I used the apple to calm my sweet tooth, and still do, even today. I love fuji apples, which I never really bought until they were on sale while I was in P2 and I still eat them today, in P4. You've got this! Keep reminding yourself that P2 is only for a short time and you will feel so much better when you get through it!! BEST OF LUCK TO YOU!!

MrsStrong, I agree about 85% - what are your favorites? I just found an 85% Valhrona, I'm saving it for p3/p4 but I couldn't resist buying it.

Probably Alter Eco hands down! Always go back to that brand.

I agree, that's a good one! If you haven't tried Trader Joe's, it's quite good too.

Which Alter Eco do you like? I have tried Deep Dark Blackout and like it.
